the double key safe was confusing

The place was very clean and modern, decorated lovely. The kitchen was great, The host was really responsive and helpful. The Tesco superstore is very close which was handy. Free parking was also a really great. I would recommend this place and will be back. The owners were accommodating to our request for slightly late checkout. There’s a lot of beautiful places to visit. We managed to visit a few of them.

Easy to find, basic but had everything we needed. It was very rainy when we stayed so we didn’t do as much walk as hoped, but we had taken board games so we went up to the Aldi 5mins up the road and did a food shop and stayed in all day. As a family of 5 there was plenty of space. Everywhere was clean. We had a walk up to the town centre which was very pleasant with a few decent shops to have a wonder about

Location was great for bike park and and Brecon.

Weeds and rubbish in back and front gardens. Dirty oven that bellows out smoke. Very dirty cleaning sponge and oven mit. No hand soap or tea towel. Left over food in freezer and cupboards. Beds too soft and broken headboards, no curtain in bedroom and bed unmade. No garden furniture. Bathroom shabby and brown dirty marks on towels, ill fitted loo seat and intermittent faulty light. Not enough seating in living room and not enough cutlery for 5 people. Not maintained as photos suggest.

The house was a good size for three people and is in a good location for exploring the Brecon Beacons. There was plenty of space to park on the road outside the house. The TV was great and we were able to sign into Netflix without any issues. The WiFi worked very well, particularly downstairs by the router. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

The house hadn't been cleaned when we arrived (this appears to be a trend based on other reviews); to his credit, the owner responded very promptly to my message and some apologetic and friendly cleaners came out after 22:00 to clean and tidy up. There was no toilet roll in the bathroom and the bathroom light also didn't work. The kitchen smelled musty due to the mildewy walls and water damaged ceiling.
