House was super clean and nice

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented house in December, March they rented to someone else, finally after calling over and over and saying calls would be returned and never were, they finally put the other people in another place and we got the house since we booked in December. Drive 4 hours there check in day to be told they rented to someone else and they put us in another place. We had planned our whole trip with family based around that house (we had stayed there the year before). My handicapped father in law was with us and cant do steps and only had one step into house, The place they put us in had 17 steps from bottom level to main level and then another 17 steps to upper bedroom level. We had 5 vehicles which fit fine with this house, the one they placed us in had 2. We called when we got to new place for maintenance was told they would let them know, they never showed up. The fact they never called us to even let us know we didn't get house and give us a chance to cancel and get refund,and let us drive 4 hours there and feel like we had no choice but accept replacement condo. We planned out whole trip based on the house, layout, and location. A phone call would have been nice, especially after what I had already went through with the house prior. Will never book with this company again, and we know alot of people that book through them for other houses during winter and summer months who will no longer rent from them again either. Disrespectful and unproffesional.

The house does need some maintenance and cleaning. I fixed one of the shower fixtures, which was so loose we couldn't get it to work until I fixed it. With a little bit of cleaning and some basic maintenance this place would be fantastic. The setting is great. The house is big enough for a family of 12, if you don't mind sharing some bathrooms. Walking distance to the snowshoe village, although there is a shuttle, so you don't have to walk. We had a fun time.

There were some minor damages when we arrived like a missing toilet paper holder, broken chair in a closet, kitchen island table top moves when you lean on it and a few others, but nothing that would deter us from staying again. Overall it was fantastic and I would highly recommend for anyone with a party of 10-15.

This was the perfect large house for our group. It has been “loved“ but it was comfortable and plenty of room and a good layout We were on the mountain most of the day so it really met our needs I would recommend and I also would rent it again

The property was very big and could easily accommodate all six of us! We actually walked easily back-and-forth to the central Snowshoe shops and restaurants and never used the shuttle. Somebody did drive the skiers up to the slopes every day and pick them up. The hot tub was working and the fireplace was great. Kitchen utensils were mostly adequate although need more casserole dishes for large groups and an electric can opener would have been helpful. There were a number of things broken including temperature gauges on showers, toilet roll holders etc. As stated in some other reviews I think the property needs a little bit more tender loving care. Another issue is driving from Cass you need to pass by both Snowshoe entrances to get to Mountain Realty to pick up your keys, which added about an extra 30 minutes to our trip. They did allow us to leave our keys on the kitchen table though when we left so we did not have to drive them back down to the rental office. Property was very clean and overall our stay was wonderful!

The house was beautiful, but not very clean. It did not appear to have been swept and they were boogers all over a wall, next to a bed in one of the bedrooms. The septic smelled terrible all weekend. Check-in was confusing and no communication was given on the process.

The view from the deck was stupendous, and there was plenty of space for everything and everyone, even the ping pong table (they are often crammed in without enough space to really play). Even the bathrooms were pointlessly cavernous. The kitchen was well equipped, but bring your own groceries out plan to spend 90 minutes driving round trip to shop. En Everything critical worked, there were a host of minor maintenance issues that were a little disappointing: crank windows that wouldn't turn, large windows with broken seals so you couldn't really see through them clearly, one of the many showers had a broken temperature control knob, and broken towel racks.

We had 14 of us and it was perfect for our crew! Plenty of space for us to hang out together. We could hang out by the fire or play ping pong or go sit in the hot tub. And you cannot beat the view. Spectacular sunsets! Happy Skiing!
