Location is great, right next to shops and dining. No need to cross the PCH to get to the beach. Access to the surf lodge next door with a ramp to the beach, pool, and enormous hot tub make SCP fun and convenient. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Ocean view suite was very large and had nice features such as a huge steam shower. Would recommend and stay again!

Overall decent hotel and I would stay again. Cleanliness was initially an issue but was addressed. They also don’t have someone at the desk full-time as they have a sister hotel nearby that they go back and forth between. That’s not ideal. The towels and bath rags could also be upgraded. But they are proactive at getting it right once you’re there. Parking is also a challenge.

The SCP Seven4One is a small boutique hotel with a great location and very friendly staff!
However not sure where the 4 stars and the higher price point come in. The hotel does not have a lobby and the partner hotel seems to be undergoing major renovations.
Having to pay a resort fee on top of taxes and fees seemed excessive.

Nice peppery close to everything but our neighbors played loud music and smoked weed all night so it kind of ruined it.

Although the location is great and the hotel is nice itself , the parking situation is a little inconvenient and the staff is not there all the time to help with guests needs.
You need to call on your personal phone to get a hold of the receptionist.
It was an overall good stay but I wouldn’t stay here again.

What we enjoyed the most about the property was the comfort of the bedding, proximity to restaurants and nearby access to the trolley taking us to and from the Pageant of the Masters. What we liked least about the property was lack of bottled water, parking fee of $38 per day and amenities like circadian lights, linen sprays and essential oil diffusers that we had to pay for in the room price but didn't need. Refillable water bottles and a water station were provided but post-Covid, we are wary of accessing water stations used by others. This property is much more geared to guests that like a zen experience and are ok with sharing a drinking water source. That said, we would stay there again for its comfort and convenience.

Loved the outside sitting areas. Rooftop area had a great view of the ocean. The area outside of our room was peaceful and relaxing.

once we got the hang of how things run we were quite comfortable, room was awesome, very comfortable. We were within walking distance to main beach, The shopping
district, did not have to use car, parking at some of the venues is hard to find. I needed the walks so it was a win win for me. We had a really good time met a lot of nice people while there, yes we would return.

The staff at the hotel are all polite, helpful and friendly.
The propery itself felt more like a college dorm than a hotel. It was VERY noisy.

Hotel staff was friendly, location was perfect, room was simple but very comfortable. Our room had a sound machine, an aroma therapy diffuser and pillow spray, AC unit and an extra fan. There is a common area separate from the lobby that is gorgeous and spacious, the lobby was beautiful and the hotel was always quiet and calm.

Spa-like. Few other guests.

This hotel was great for a weekend. Couldn’t be closer to the beach and walkable to all the shops downtown. If I was there longer I’d miss more amenities. Everything was very clean which is #1 priority. I would stay here again.

We came to celebrate an anniversary. Super clean boutique hotel. We were given complimentary cocktails upon check in. We stayed in the Ocean view suite which was next to the public deck so very convenient spot to enjoy our free drinks. Hotel is centrally located, good pricing. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Very Clean and close to downtown. Staff helpful.
Almost no on site parking - Valet = $38/day
Most rooms looked out in interior courtyard - noisy at times.

Absolutely fantastic property. Staff were amazing, great bed, loved the outdoor spaces, extremely clean. Will definitely be back.

The ocean view is nice however, no privacy in the room as it looks directly onto a public deck. Had to keep blinds closed. Paid for and booked a premium suite and it was not available and management did not help with a refund or resolving the matter.

The staff was great, particularly Kyle. Place needs a few amenities as televisions in the room and more mirrors or places to get dressed. Overall, the hotel deck was great and the interiors were good. Room was a little sparse, but good.

This is a charming boutique hotel. Wonderful hangout spaces, especially the big open family room and the rooftop patio. The room was serene. Location is great if you want to walk about Laguna Beach. Downside, no way to park as you arrive. I got lucky and found the valet by accident but then had to lug all my bags. Only two out of three hosts I met were hospitable. They have a discrepancy with the pet fee (one time v nightly.) The website says one time fee and in person they wanted to charge nightly. A few things broken or wonky in the room. They had to bring in a portable a/c since my unit was not working. I would still return to this location.

Was a wonderful and relaxing stay! Very comfortable and exactly what we were looking for.

The hotel itself is nice, but the rooms are not the best, a little overpriced for what they are offering, would not come the second time here. Though the lady at the check in was super nice!

This hotel is in a perfect location a stones throw from the beach and downtown Laguna.
