The Ross Retreat is a 2BR, 2BA condo ideally situated on the 18th hole of Pinehurst #3. Updates include new paint, furniture, bedding, and decor that gives a subtle "tip of the cap" to the history of Pinehurst and Donald Ross. Floor-to-ceiling windows along the entire back wall of the condo let in an abundance of natural light and allow for amazing views! Enjoy soaking up the sun and beauty of the pines from the back deck. You'll be able to watch players hit their approach shots into 18th green of course No. 3. This property's proximity to the 9 legendary Pinehurst resort courses is a major plus! Golf Terrace is a five-minute walk to The Cradle, less than a 10-minute walk to the main clubhouse, and just over a 20-minute walk to the Village of Pinehurst. Pro Pinehurst Tip: The Cradle par 3 and Thistle Dhu putting course are a must-do when visiting! The short walk from this listing makes it easy for guests to enjoy both. Also, the close proximity to The Deuce is another highlight. Allowing patrons to enjoy a beverage and small bite from the patio rocking chairs while watching golfers finish their round on famed Pinehurst No. 2. The Golf Terrace Condo Community is the smallest of all the communities, making this property super easy to find. There are only 24 units within this HOA, and only four 2-bedroom units are available for rent. Between the exclusivity, location, and updates, there is not a better place to stay while visiting Pinehurst. All furnishings were purchased new in July 2022 with sleeping for up to 5 people. Each bedroom has two full-size beds, and the living room includes a queen sofa bed. All towels and linens are provided. The master bedroom is complete with a private bathroom and spacious tub/shower, while the guest bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a weekend getaway or month-long stay. You will appreciate all our condo has to offer with easy access to all of Pinehurst. Make yourself at home at the cradle of American golf! When booking your stay, please let us know the number of guests (up to 5) and let us know if additional guests are added later (HOA rules, plus we need to know in case of an emergency). Provisions will be provided based on the number of guests. Entry into the home is via a digital keypad, which will lock after an extended amount of time, so be careful not to lock yourself out. Great place to stay. Location can't be beat, very clean, updated and very comfortable beds. Great communication with property manager as well.

Unlike some VRBO units, the owners of this condo have made a real effort — and it shows. New furniture, a genuinely well stocked kitchen, fresh paper towels, additional toilet paper and toiletries. Clean and accommodating. Plenty of parking. And if you’re interested in golf, you can’t beat the location— wander across the street and you’re at Pinehurst #2. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute and cozy condo! We only stayed one night during our quick trip to Pinehurst. The owner, Sam, quickly responded to our questions. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. It would be nice if check in was a little sooner than 5:00 though that may not be that big of a deal if your staying multiple days. But we thoroughly enjoyed it while we were there and hope to come back and stay again some time!

Wonderful location, just minutes away from Pinehurst Resort, which has restaurant "The Deuce" which we highly recommend. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was very responsive and good communicator. Beds were comfy, kitchen seemed well stocked. Not a big space, but perfect for our family of 3 and it was just as advertised. Would stay here again.

This townhome is situated in a beautiful, quiet setting backing to Pinehurst No. 3 golf course. The interior is in good condition and is well appointed with golf themed decor. Pinehurst No. 2, No. 4, and The Cradle is literally across the street (Beulah Hill Road) to the north, so this is a perfect location. Host was extremely responsive and professional to whatever needs we had. Cost was reasonable for what you get with this cottage. We would stay here again.

The property is a little tricky to find bc Google maps and Apple Maps doesn’t know how to get there so follow the owner instructions carefully.
The condo is right on the course. You’ll end up driving in front of a tee box and a widened cart path. Be careful when balls are in play.
But you will be rewarded with fairway views. The owner has done a great job decorating for the golf fanatic. It is golf immersion and everything we needed to steep deep into golf vibes. He’s also super responsive to any questions but suggest reading the long explainer mail that comes via the app first. The thermostat is tricky to know how to work it so just ask.
Enjoy all Pinehurst has to offer and try some of the surrounding courses.

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. Owner worked with us to get an early check in which was great. Unit was extremely clean and exactly as described. Location was great. Loved the short distance to the Pinehurst clubhouse for a nice lunch at The Deuce overlooking the 18th green Pinehurst #2 and a nice walk around the grounds. Will defiantly will return.

If you're a golfer in Pinehurst (and let's face it you are), this place is for you. Lots of great books to read while you're winding down from your round. A short walk to the Pinehurst property and right on the 18th hole of #3.
Great communication, clean place, great water pressure, everything you need. There are lots of condos for rent in this area, but this one should be at the top of your list.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this condo and love it. It’s clean, convenient and nicely decorated. The first time, I stayed with 3 other girls, celebrating my 80th birthday. We played golf and ate at some local restaurants. It was perfect with the 4 beds.
This time I was here to play golf, but with my husband and youngest sister and husband. We had a wonderful time and my brother in law checked off Pinehurst #2 from his Bucket List.
Hopefully the next time I come the Ross Retreat will be available.

This property is well maintained and located in a perfect spot on the Pinehurst Resort property. The property itself is in great condition, very clean, and a short 5 minute walk to the Pinehurst Resort clubhouse and a 10 minute walk to the downtown Pinehurst area. With two queen beds in both bedrooms, this is a perfect set-up for our golfing foursome. Everything you need for a great stay can be found here. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here, and I can’t wait to return!

Our stay at this 2 bedroom condo wedged between 2 golf holes was great. Although small in size, it had everything we needed. Loved having 2 full beds in each of the bedrooms - perfect for 4 golfers! Great location and a very responsive owner! We will be back! Thanks!

We needed a quick place to stay, and this was perfect. Everything was in order. And a word to future renters, you'll think you are on a cart path driving back to the place, but you are on the right track!

This unit was an excellent two bedroom 2 bath condo with all facilities. It is on one of the Pinehurst golf courses so great views. The condo was very clean and well presented. Linens and bedding very nice. Would recommend it and would stay again.

The only problem we had was locating the turn in to the property using our GPS. It indicated we had reached our destination but there was no road. I'd mention that the turn in is at Morganton Rd. Traffic light. You then follow a narrow road that crosses the Golf Course. (Beware of Golfers teeing off!) The Unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Blinds or curtains would be nice to have in the Living Room for privacy. We would stay here again!!
