About this house rental

This fully restored 1911 home was designed by local prominent architect and KSU graduate Henry Winter for his personal residence. Three years ago, the property underwent a whole home award winning renovation bringing back to life the details Henry put in with the addition of some modern flare. Within a 10-minute walk of Manhattan's top downtown spaces- the location cannot be beat! The main floor consists of both informal and formal living area, dining area, half bathroom and fully stocked kitchen with pantry, gas stove, full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Upstairs you will find the spacious master suite complete with king bed, walk-in closet and generous sized master bathroom. This bathroom has 2 vanities, a walk-in shower with dual shower heads and the guest accessible washer and dryer. The two other bedrooms with queen beds and main floor bathroom with tub complete the second story. All beds and bedding are high quality to insure a good night's sleep. In the basement you will find an exercise space with Peloton bike, free weights and more. Lastly, we have set up a gamers space as well complete with a Nintendo Wii. Three outdoor sitting areas, one with a grill, make it easy to find a spot to enjoy the outdoors. There are also 3 off-street parking spots, with street parking being an option as well.

We rented this property over the weekend and it was a fabulous historical home to relax in. It was extremely clean, well furnished and every attention to detail was well thought out and planned. We plan to come back several more times and there are zero worries on renting this property. Kudos to the owners!

The house was perfect for our girls weekend. It had so many extras. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space and really enjoyed just hanging out at the house. The kitchen is equipped with anything you would possibly need. The beds are very comfortable. We will definitely rent this house again in the future.

A historical home with all the modern touches/conveniences. Home was super clean, well appointed, and walking distance to shopping, eating, and campus. Bed, pillows, and bedding were incredibly comfortable! We loved all the original lighting, fixtures, and flooring. The porches are great, but too chilly during our stay to enjoy. Would definitely recommend!
