Clean, comfortable, furnished very nicely and all the facilities you need are there. Everything thought of such as kitchen equipment and even spices for cooking and fresh milk in the fridge. Welcome basket is an extra special touch.

Property does smell damp sometimes but to be expected from an old property of this type.

Says sleeps 8 but could not have 8 adults staying there realistically with property size. No hand soap, only 4 toilet rolls and not enough cutlery for 5 adults or cooking utensils. Dirty cup found under the sofa in the living area. Mattress in the bedroom with the largest bed was very uncomfortable, however other guests in the double rooms said they were comfortable in those beds.

Nicely presented living and sleeping area with sufficient space for 7 people. Quiet location and good value for money.

The property had a strong smell of damp. There were some very basic things I would expect to be provided that were not - welcome pack and instructions on use of heating, dishwasher, disposal of rubbish in wheelie bin and recycling; enough cutlery for the number of guests; cleaning products for bathroom, toilet paper, oven gloves, extra bin liners. Despite a number of attempts we could not get the dishwasher to work.

Stayed here last weekend with family and will not be returning. Location was quiet and served its purpose for why we were there The house was very basic and not comfortable at all. I’m afraid there are not any positives for this property.

The property was damp, cold and not particularly clean. It was very tired and shabby and in need of some serious tlc. Crockery was dirty and overall the kitchen was grimy so we didn’t use it. The gulley for the kitchen sink was blocked with mud and we had to unblock it. I would describe the property as like staying in basic student accommodation which is not what you expect for a weekend away. Shabby but not chic.

Mould on the walls and in the kitchen cabinets. We rent for 7 people and had 4 spoons and 4 forks :(
