There is nothing better than feeling like you’re part of the hustle and bustle of the Mother City, whilst nestled against the quiet mountainous backdrop of Signal Hill. The apartment offers an intimate and warm sunny balcony with vast ocean and city views, as well as a rooftop pool where you’re spoilt with the perfect spot to enjoy Cape Town’s gloriously long Summer days, or wind down with Sundowners, and a Barbeque on the gas Weber grill, with beautiful Sunset views. On the balcony you can relax on luxury shape sun loungers for the ultimate sunbathing experience. You can even take your lounging from the balcony to the pool in effortless style. The luxurious comfort of the 2 beautiful appointed bedrooms with 2 modern bathrooms will make you feel refreshed and so relaxed, and with it’s modern equipped kitchen (with Smeg appliances and a Nespresso machine) living and dining (features a Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime), this home certainly has everything you need for the breakaway you’ve been longing for. An important feature is that the apartment has generators, therefore no power interruptions. It also has high speed Fibre WiFi. Room Configuration: Master bedroom: balcony with sea views, a king size bed, AC and a full open plan bathroom, with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2: balcony with sea views, a queen size bed. It has a seperate bathroom which doubles up as guest facilities. On the fourth floor of the block, there is a communal outdoor swimming pool and entertainment area for guests enjoyment. HISTORIC TO ITS CORE A former 19th century fortified battery from the Anglo-Russian conflict. This relic serves as a live-in exhibition, the first and only of its kind in the city featuring a central display with lounge seating and wine tasting tables. The battery’s tunnel network was restored and repurposed into an underground wine cellar, with a dedicated tasting area. Guest access There is secure parking available inside the apartment block, along with lift access to the apartment. Indemnity: Home Meets Hotel, as well as the owner, do not accept liability for any loss and/or damage to any personal items and/or person for any reason whatsoever. Sufficient travel & medical insurance is therefore strongly advised. Important Information: South Africa is currently experiencing an electricity shortage, so there might be periods when you will be without electricity. We call it load shedding and there is an app that you can download to check the schedule in your area so that you can plan around it. In the event of metered electricity, we furnish the guest with enough units during their stay, however excessive use of aircon or heating systems can result in running out of electricity. Therefore please notify your Host when the units are low, to prevent you from running out. Please note that, despite the presence of inverter systems, generators, and UPS systems in our apartments as well as the apartment buildings, Home Meets Hotel cannot be held liable in the event of any system failure due to prolonged load shedding. We provide guests with a starter pack to get them going on the first day of their arrival consisting of tea/coffee/sugar/milk/water, basic cleaning detergents and bathroom amenities. Please take note that we do not replenish these items for the duration of your stay. To ensure your convenience, kindly remember to bring your personal login details for DSTV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and any other applicable services, as not all apartments are equipped with login credentials. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We provide guests with a fitted sheet and duvet, which will be on the bed as well as a bath towel and hand towel for each guest. Please note the electricity usage will be capped at the average consumption rate for the apartment. We can arrange housekeeping at an additional cost. Please make sure to arrange this with your host prior to your arrival. For bookings longer than 7 nights, there is a complimentary mid stay cleaning service which includes a change of linen. We can arrange an airport shuttle at an additional cost. We do not have international plugs/converters, therefore please remember to bring your own. We do not get informed when neighbouring units are getting renovated, therefore if it happens during working hours, we are unable to prevent it. In case of strong winds, we keep the outdoor furniture inside, however you are welcome to use it outdoors. We can only recommend and not dictate the furnishing, window coverings (whether too light or too dark), kitchen utensils, cooking ware, cutlery etc of the unit, as this remains the personal choice of the owner. Please report anything which is not to your satisfaction on the day of your arrival, so that we can address it to the best of our ability as it is our top priority to make your stay with us as pleasant and memorable as possible. No smoking is allowed in the apartment, failing to adhere to it, the group will be requested to leave the premises immediately and payments will not be refunded. Due to strong winds, there might sometimes be a bad odour in some of our apartments but it will disappear again, if not, please contact your Host. The wind can also sometimes cause a whistling sound in some of the apartments. Some apartments are surrounded by restaurants and pubs, therefore take note that there might be noise. If you are not sure about the square meters of your apartment, please ask your Host.
