Beautiful room, all forniture was so well selected and maintained. Original combination between refurbished forniture and new installations. Also great Italian food served.

Location of that lovely hotel is just perfect if you travel by car, cause it's just 3 minutes from highway number 1.

We use this hotel mainly for its location close to a route we travel regularly.

The attitude of the staff. The hotel seems to have no deicated staff but is serviced by the staff of the (excellent, Italian) restaurant in the same building, but apparently separate from the hotel. This means that there is no-one to talk to who knows or cares one little bit about the hotel, details of the rooms etc., and when booking through Booking.com, the interest in the client is even less. I always book through Booking.com because it keeps hotels from totally mucking us about - as often happens if booking direct - for fear of bad reviews. The downside is that many hotels treat Booking.com guests as second rate, and this one certainly does. I can't fault the restaurant, though, and the breakfast (not served by the restaurant, but in a separate breakfast room) is also fine.

Breakfast was a little odd as there was only scrambled egg that was hot but there was plenty of euro buffet style cold meats and cheese etc which was good quality. The hotel is located in a quiet area so there is little traffic to cause noise. The rooms are very clean which to me is important. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This is the only hotel or b&b that I have ever stayed in that didn't have a kettle in the room but does have a hair dryer. it just seemed a little odd not to have one. It also had a good quality pen in the room.... but nothing to write on. This bills itself as a superior grade hotel so these omissions are surprising.
