The hospitality of the staff and the clean facilities, also dinner was great

The girl at the reception knew everything and helped with anything, from the laundry, breakfast, room issue with the ac, and contacting adventures around the lodge .
The room was almost perfect .
the slund of steps from the floor above was a bit annoying .
There was no electric at some of the time .
Also, it seems that one more assistent in the reception vould be helpful, as sometimes there was nobkdy there and we needed to ask other wotkers from the kitchen to check where is the reception girl .

Incredibly spacious room with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. WiFi connection was good too. We ate dinner at the restaurant which was fantastic and the included breakfast was also excellent.
The only downside was that the staff member who checked us in was not very friendly.

The friendly staff, Simba and the lady at reception were very helpful. I loved the karaoke, it was entertaining and improved the experience.
Beautiful garden area.
The nauseating cooking oil smell as the loft is just above the kitchen, I wanted to change rooms but it was ful. The other rooms are well appointed with regard to location, not the loft, I was also concerned about safety issues should anything like fire breaks out. I don't think it's ideal and safe for guest occupation due to its location, it can serve as a store room.

Good location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very courteous and food was good. The dessert was brilliant!!!
The shower door in one room would not shut properly. In the other room there was no where convenient to hang your towel so that you could reach it when you had finished your shower.

The location of our room.
Upon arrival I was very dissapointed with our room. Luckily the manager could arrange another room for us. I didn't realise that some of the rooms at Tsitsikhaya Lodge are so close to each other.

Rooms were ok and we were advised that there was no restaurent so we had to go out for dinner.Thank you.

Tsitsikhaya Lodge is situated in a beautiful relaxing scenery.
The host Simba is ever so friendly and helpful and he even made us a really nice bonfire.
Btw he could easily win The Voice of South Africa! 🤩
The restaurant is outstanding👌🏼 and we are real Foodies, so that was very nice too! 🥰
So, all in all we were very happy to stay at Tsitsikhaya Lodge and will definitely come back.
Nothing 👍🏻

We had an excellent stay here for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced as was the wine. Don’t be put off by the plastic menus. If undertaking a Google search you will come across Rafters restaurant and the Armagh Country Lodge and Spa. This is the same hotel and restaurant albeit under new ownership and a new name since 2021. Parts of the hotel grounds and swimming pool require upgrading hence I have not given it a tip score. Even so it is a very comfortable hotel to stay in and only a short walk into the main village.
It does need investment in certain areas by the new owners.

Lovely room, good bathroom. Nice garden view.
Good hot breakfast and friendly staff.
Restaurant on site serves good food at reasonable prices and it is convenient to have a meal after a long days travel without having to go out again.
Definitely would stay again.
No hair dryer, but not a big deal.

Stayed in beautiful garden cottage.
Nothing, but maybe just put something in place for loadshedding like a battery light?

location was great and very clean
the African loft is very dated in terms of fixtures and style. it could do with a refresh. no basic toiletries were provided and the shower does not have a shower rack to hold soap and a sponge.

Nice and comfortable lodge in Tsitikama close to the national park and all activities.
Camp fire in the evening and stars on the sky were special experience.

The rooms are big and spacious. perfect for family outings
Pool was small and not so clean. Generator wasn’t working, during load shedding and they really need to work on their breakfast, it wasn’t nice for whole 3 days.
