The staff was absolutely amazing ! Very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at 4 am and they had someone meet us and bring us to the Riad. I cannot express how grateful we were to have them help us navigate Marrakech. Also lovely breakfast !

-The Staff is very friendly and attentative, they help you with all your questions, they get 10 points from us. We have been told that the Riad is located in the oldest part of the Medina, which is more interesting. The Riad is very nice renovated, the roof top terrace offers sweeping views across the old city. The rooms are very well designed, everything is very clean. Everything was excellent from check-in to check-out.
-The location is convenient for getting to many of the key city sights on foot without any trouble at all. The location of the Riad was hidden, but otherwise everything was perfect!, you need always google maps and a sense of orientation because you may get lost. Everything is within walking distance from here, between 15 and 33 minutes to visit most of the important buildings and areas.
-Since we were not looking for upscale and expensive restaurants, we can recommend Dar Tazi (near the famous Foundouk), which is only a 6-minute walk from the Riad, a Lebanese restaurant called Naranj, and the very special Dar Cherifa, which is housed in the oldest Riad in the medina (1600). We had also dinner at the Jemaa El Fna, here we recommend the nr 32 and of course, you can just follow your instinct and have a mint tea at one of the nice places you see everywhere.
-Leather accesories: we have been looking for many, many places in the souks and definitely we found the best quality at the “Ensemble Artisanal Marrakech”, it is located on the Mohammed V av., the are various Moroccan artisanal cooperatives which are dedicated to manufacture and sell their products here, you can see the artisans at work, it is about 10 minutes from the Koutoubia Square. We definitely recommend the shop number 14, (Maroquinerie) for bags and leather accessories.Top quality, finishing and prices.
t's not about something we didn't like, they are simply comments to help those who come for the first time. -Getting there: we booked the taxi service from the hotel, although it is more expensive than the usual price. After arriving by cab at a parking lot, luggage must be taken by hand cart (porter provided by the Riad) about 6 minutes walk away. It is a bit of a shock (and wonderful at the same time) for someone who has no idea what life is like in the Medina. But once you arrive at the Riad, it's a different story.:) You are warmly welcomed with tea and delicious pâtisserie.
-To take the shower, be patient – it takes a very long time to get hot water, the water pressure is slow but it is normal in some countries.
-This is a place to stay for people who have come to Marrakech in search of the traditional, and not the modern hotels. Remember it is like staying in someone's private home, Riads and Dars were family homes, this is not a luxury resort hotel (although the price is equivalent to a luxury hotel). If you are looking for "normal" hotels, you need to book outside the Medina.

From the moment we arrived Khadija took great care of us starting with a welcoming mint tea and pastries before we went up to our room which met all expectations other than the lack of a desk and a chair. It was also a little difficult for me to negotiate the traditional doorway and threshold that separated the bedroom from the bathroom since a bad hip made it difficult to get in and out without mishap.
We had to call upon Amine to solve the mysteries of operating the TV but he soon had it up and running and all was well (without his help we would have just given up trying!) - written instructions would help!
The breakfast was perfect- so many options brought to us on a large tray, with the option of having cooked eggs in addition, if desired. This was served on the fantastic multi-level roof top terrace which offers sweeping views across the old city.
The location is so convenient for getting to many of the key city sights on foot without any trouble at all - until you enter the Souk Semmarine, the sprawling shopping area just North of the famous Jemaa El Fna square, when you need to have your wits about you, a compass app and Google maps (not as accurate in this labyrinth as one would like).
We had top flight dinners at Le Foundouk and Le Trou au Mer, both about 5 minutes away and wonderful lunches at Le Jardin and Nomad, both no more than 15 minutes' walk away. But arguably the best meals we had for our entire stay were at the Riad itself, courtesy of their brilliant chef, Amina - three courses featuring delicious fresh Moroccan salads, followed by chicken and vegetable tagines, one night and an amazing lamb tajine with prunes the other. Desserts were just as good - crème brûlée and fruit tarts all for less money than the local restaurants.
The whole staff of 4 people were so helpful and their English was good enough for us to get by with a bit of French as a standby.
The only setback was the impossibility of driving to the location which is at the end of a labyrinth of narrow streets so luggage has to be brought in by handcart (porter supplied by the Riad) from the nearest parking area, about 8 minutes walk away. When you arrive, absent any Booking.com photos of the exterior, it is a bit of a shock, leaving you wondering what on earth you have got into here! But once inside it is a different story. If you like baths, be patient - they take a very long time to fill with hot water sine the water pressure and the plumbing leave a bit to be desired.
This is a place to stay for people who have come to Marrakech in search of the traditional, NOT the modern. It is like staying in someone's private home, NOT a luxury or resort hotel. If that is what you seek, this is not the place for you.

Khadija and Amin are amazing hosts.
The communication was very good. They coordinated a wonderful city guide for me.
The Riad is is into the Medina itself, so Amin came to meet me from the taxi and carried my suitcase to the Riad. Same when I was leaving Eiub carried my bags out and bargained me a taxi.
The Riad itself is a litte jem, very clean and beautifuly designed in a mix of old and modern Morrocan style. The room is spacious with an AC. Bathroom big and very clean.
Don't miss a dinner on the top-riof terrace - the house cooked tajin and food in general are delicious. Seriously, my best food experiance of my entire stay in Marroco.

The property is pretty and a nice rooftop.
Our time at the Riad was very bitter sweet. At first everything was okay and we decided to have dinner on the first night with them, however, this is when it started to go downhill. We went for dinner at 7pm where starters were given, it wasn’t for an hour later and we had to ask for the main course to come. Also, they say it is a 3 course meal but when we had to ask for our 3 section of the meal - desert where we were told us that he wasn’t told anything about it. Then during our stay later on, we had privately organised a transfer with a trusted driver of the Riad. We decided to cancel 45 mins prior to the pick-up and the driver had no issues. The manager of the Riad then messaged us at 11pm to say “why have you cancelled, he is already there” and further guilt tripping us into going. We then decided to go and then were told he had left. Finally, the biggest issue was faced on the last day. We had an early morning flight and decided to sort out our bill with the Road the night before. The manager wasn’t in and sent us our bill via WhatsApp, and tried to charge us extra for things we had paid already. This then turned into an argument, she then later realised after 1hr that we were correct. She also committed to taking a card payment without a fee on the first day and then went back on that on the last day which meant we had to walk 30 mins to the closest cash point at 10:30 PM and we had an early morning flight and ignored our plea to be accompanied to an ATM as we felt unsafe. Overall, the professionalism showed by the manager Khadija was extremely poor and rude. I would not recommend anyone to stay here from the way we have been treated.

Everything!
The location is a little tricky, but with Amin’s help you will be fine!

First of all the staff are a credit to the Riad. Khadija and Amin in particular are a delight. I had a continuous dialogue with Khadija even before my stay via WhatsApp she helped me with all queries. On the first morning Amin walked me and my partner through the map of the city, which routes to take, where to avoid, recommendations etc which really helped!
I got food poisoning on the last couple of days and was too ill to leave the room so they brought breakfast into my room which was lovely of them.
The rooms themselves are spotless and well looked after, even the smallest room has so much room!
Breakfast is served up on the roof terrace every morning which is gorgeous and all you need.
We decided to get the dinner they offer one evening as we were coming back late from an excursion not thinking it would be anything different to what we had before - it was honestly incredible. I thought other meals we had here were good but this was some of the best food we’ve ever eaten, very traditional Moroccan food, would recommend that everyone orders dinner at least one of the nights!
My biggest recommendation if you’re not planning on spending much extra money at the riad itself is to book an airport transfer to the Riad, as other reviews mention it’s awkward to get to (use google maps over apple maps and it should be okay though!) and it takes the hassle off finding a taxi driver as they have a sign with your name the riad waiting.
Smart TVs in the rooms including Netflix (you’ll need a log in) which we didn’t think we’d need but you get so tired walking through the souks etc through the day it’s nice to finish the evening with a night in.
I stayed in the deluxe double room, the room itself was gorgeous and spacious, the bed was huge however slightly firm. The location of the room being on the ground floor also means you can hear a lot from the other guests outside the room and presumably they can hear in, might help if you get a room upgrade if that’s something you’re worried about.

THE SERVICE OF KHADIJA AND AMIN ARE AMAZING HOST. VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL

The hotel has been completely remodeled, and to a high standard. It's a good mix of traditional and updated styling. Not overly old-fashioned, and not too modern. Some might think its not very central, but the medina is small and nothing was far.
I liked essentially everything.
