I loved the fact that it was like a tiny resort. The breakfast was very good, worth every penny (2000 fc). Staff was great, pool was great. Very safe :)
Room could’ve been a little bit cleaner

The taxi was waiting at rhe airport to pick me up it was 30 minutes drive . The rooms were big and had a sofa, there was 2 shared bathrooms with hot water close to room. We had spaghetti for dinner and nice strong coffee for breakfast with fresh bread. The staff were very friendly . WiFi was good and the beer was cold. Great place to relax before a flight the next day. Would use it again as close to Dakar airport. Value for money.
The rooms had a mosquito nets but they still managed to get me. Maybe on route to the bathroom ?

A relaxing stay in this beautiful lodging, with a nice snall pool surrounded by bougainvillaea, fruit and palm trees, and hosted by Angelo and gracious staff.
Bus #86 from Bargny will take you to Kelle, the little village on the outskirts of Toubab Dialaw, but only recommended for backpackers as it's really crowded with no space for luggage.
An appreciated detail- I could use Euros to pay for my room and expenses at the same exchange rate as at the airport. Thank you Angelo, Aisha and staff for a great stay!
I didn't mind, but the village of Kelle is a couple of kilometres from the main town. There are frequent buses and you can also walk along the beach into town.

staff very nice and friendly, beautiful place, very good food and good value, hot water and pressure in the bathroom! many friendly cats !
not far from a beautiful beach (even if you pass through the village with rubbish)
i just had no wifi (they had a pb at the time) but it was everywhere I go so fortunately I had bought internet at the airport on my first day as bloggers recommend it

Not too far from the airport. Nice garden and swimming pool. Excellent staff. Breakfast with local jam/bread and omelette. Nice terrasse outside of the room.
Can clean better. Or maybe because of the sandy environment around it is quite dusty in the room.

my flight to Dakar got delayed eight hours so needed somewhere last minute close to the airport that I could arrive in the middle of the night. I booked it at 23:00 and arrived at 02:00 from the airport

The Most beautiful little oasis in a quiet local and friendly little town, a little off the most busy street. The owner, Angelo, is everything I would want a host to be, super friendly, helpful and down to earth. He even picked us up from the beach and drove us to a surf spot to check the next day and went there and back twice because we didn’t fit in one car all together. For free. Would absolutely recommend coming here! Excellent value in terms of price and quality.
Nothing to complain about

Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating! The location was in a nice, quiet little village with a short walk down the beach. The facilities were very clean.
Nothing at all!

Friendly and welcoming staff who couldn't do more to make your stay comfortable.

The staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The space was bright, well decorated and welcoming. Bathrooms were clean and worked just fine. There was enough space to park our car.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Sheets fitted poorly. The only fan in the room barely worked. We had two terrible nights of sleep. There is little lounging furniture, comfy chairs, hammocks, sunloungers etc There is nothing in the local area, you have to drive to the beach or local restaurant.

The host Angelo was an amazing guy who helped me alot with many things. I highly recommend this place to stay as it feels like a family home rather than a hotel.

this place was my favorite among all places i stayed during my 2 months trip in west Africa . the room, location , staff and the work they do for local kids and the village . reasonably priced , 5 minute walk to the beach, best breakfast ever.

I like the natural feel of the hotel/hostel. Staff are very professional and helpful. The place is very neat too. Laura and Ablaye were like a family.
Well, there were mosquitoes sometimes despite the presence of mosquitoe nets in the room.

Lovely calm place, very cosy atmosphere, great connection with hotel staff and other travelers, very decent wifi, yummy breakfast for low price, cute cuddly cat.
The beach with restaurants etc is a 15 minute walk. At night that can feel a bit far to walk back.
However, if you want to go to a closer one just to watch the sunset, on the other side of the road the beach is accessible on a 5 minute walk. Be sure to ask so you don't miss out.

This is very much in the hostal category of accommodation and whilst the rooms are quite basic they are clean and comfortable. We had the superior room which is the only room with a private bathroom, all other rooms share bathroom facilities. Our room was also located on an upper level away from the the rest of the rooms and had great views of the village from the large terrace. Breakfast comprised juice, bread and tea/coffee. The guy in charge was very friendly and helpful. There is a courtyard to sit in the evenings.
There were two main drawbacks here. Firstly the place is extremely difficult to find despite being signed off the road. In fact the signage is incorrect and leads you down a dead end track. Fortunately we met another couple who were also looking the the hotel and one of them was from The Gambia and spoke the local language. He called the hotel and the manager came to meet us and guide us in. Secondly was the was the lack of dining options other then breakfast. The kitchen is available for the use of guests to cook their own food but shopping options are limited in what is a very traditional village. We were guided to a shop where we could get provisions but the choice wasn't extensive and we settled on a dinner of bread, cheese, salami and beer.

I don't think I got breakfast. The roads to get there are gutted bumpy dirt roads...a nightmare to get there. It says near airport. It was maybe 30 miles from the airport and 50 from Dakar, on the middle of nowhere
The roads there, the directions
