About this cabin rental
Located in Henrys Lake, this charming cabin for $650 per night is a great option for your next trip. For rent is our beautiful cabin in Island Park. The cabin sits on half an acre with views of the Sawtelle mountains, the northeast shore of Henry's Lake and just 13 short miles from West Yellowstone. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin sleeps 8 and puts you in the middle of everything Island Park and Yellowstone has to offer. The original cabin is a hand-scraped whole log cabin, completely renovated and newly decorated in 2013. Our cabin is a charming, secluded, comfortable place to stay while you adventure through Yellowstone, fish on Henrys Lake or nearby Hebgen Lake, hike, bike, horseback ride and more. ATV/Rafting/Horseback tours and the West Yellowstone rodeo are just 10 minutes away. At the end of the day, grill on the patio or sit around the fire pit outside. We are excited to announce we have been working hard and have completed the new mudroom/entry and beautiful new deck and grilling area which also includes an outside table and chairs. *We have also added air conditioning to the upstairs area of the cabin!! The main floor stays cool and comfortable from the trees and the insulation of the full logs but we understand that upstairs can get a little warm. We listened, stay cool!! *High speed internet *Almost all area rental agreements require that you drop off all your trash at a landfill that is about a 1/2 hour drive each way but we provide trash removal service with your booking. We had great time in Yellowstone, the weather was perfect for October. The house had everything we needed. It could use some updating and was very dark inside. Views were gorgeous, but there is a main road that runs in front of the property. Good proximity to West Yellowstone.

We are 2 retired couples who traveled from the Carolinas. The cabin was amazing! Far enough away from the crowds at Yellowstone, but close enough to be at the West entrance in 20 minutes! Decor was incredible, as was the homey feel! The only down side was the traffic noise from the road.

Great place to stay. Cozy little cabin. Only thing missing was a dishwasher, but didn’t miss it too much. Would love to come back and stay again. Beds are very comfy in the 2 rooms. One bedroom with a king bed and the other with 2 queens and bunk beds. Since there were only of us, 2 slept upstairs and 2 down. Nice to have a bathroom on the main floor and upstairs. Nancy was a great host and very kind.

The nest feels more like a home rather than a vacation spot!! The house is exactly like the pictures! It is very well stocked with your basic needs. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay near YNP but yet just outside the hustle and bustle of the nearby towns.

Nancy was a great host. We needed an iron and she dropped one off, we inquired about where to see moose and she gave us where to go! Within the first hour of checking in we had a deer walk thru the front yard. Comfortable and well decorated cabin.

The house was in excellent condition and Nancy had the house stocked with all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. Would absolutely book this property again on another visit to Montana! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! :)

Seniors with two adult daughters and two teens; everyone had a comfortable bed. Cabin is in a small community but with the trees feels remote. Super hot week in the parks so practically no animal sitings during the day. Portable air conditioner and a fan upstairs, warm during the daytime down but cooled at night. Fridge was well stocked with condiments (a bonus). Coolers, bear spray, and beach towels to borrow. Drip and K-Cup coffee machines. Pictures are accurate, everything was comfortable; enjoyed the space. Dish TV.

We stayed for a week to access Yellowstone, grand Tetons and island park. The location is great . We had a family of 4 and had plenty of room. The property is clean and nicely decorated. The beds we all comfortable. Nancy is a great host and will go the extra mile to make sure your stay is great.

Stunning views and quaint cabin. Such attention to detail in the entire cabin. Can’t say enough about the experience. Nancy and Reese are such great people and hosts. Definitely will be looking forward to staying there again in the future!

The cabin is exactly as pictured and beautiful inside. For our family of 4 it was perfect. We sat by the campfire one night and made s’mores. I would highly recommend this place to a family with 2 kids and 2 adults. Thank you!!

We had an incredible time at The Nest. The place was spotless. It had everything we needed and more. Nancy was very attentive and we couldn’t of ask for a better experience. We did s’mores at night and the kids played in the yard. Location is very close to Yellowstone and about 2 hours from Tetons. I would give it more stars if I could. Thank you!!! A trip my kids will never forget.

The cabin was ideal in getting away from crowds in West Yellowstone yet still close to the park entrance. We really enjoyed the wood pellet stove on those cold evenings and kicking back in the reclining chairs reading.

We were very happy with this property. The location was very convenient to get into Yellowstone, but we also liked that it was a bit more remote and separated from the West Yellowstone area. It was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay. The manager was extremely responsive and friendly. It's a great log cabin with really fabulous upgrades :) We appreciated how close it was to Yellowstone without being in the middle of tackiness that is West Yellowstone. Recommendations for restaurants were right on! We were a little sad at how close it was to the road, but the view from the porch was great. Was a great experience!

This is such a cute place and had everything we needed and more. It is in a great location, easy to get to West Yellow Stone. We took trips to Big Sky Montana (did white water rafing there at Geyser Whitewater Expiditions), Grand Tetons (diffenitly worth the 2 hour drive there and back). We rented a Razor one day from High Mountian Adventures in Island Park. Great place to rent from)
We had he pleasure of meeting Nancy, she was so nice and easy to reach if we had any questions. I highly recommend this Cabin, If we ever get back to this area we would diffently rent this place again.

Nancy, the cabin owner, was so accommodating to us. She was gracious to help us out when our flight was delayed and we couldn't get there for check in on the day we were originally scheduled to arrive. We truly appreciated her working with us.

Nancy's Nest was the perfect place to unwind in the evenings and relax. We were there while Yellowstone got shut down due to flooding. Nancy messaged me a list of things to do outside Yellowstone which was very helpful! The place was clean and perfect for our family of 5. The kids each had their own bed and bathroom! Will definitely check into staying at here again when we come back to visit Yellowstone!

We stayed in this cabin during a week long Yellowstone trip. Overall it was a great cabin that was very well stocked with anything you may need (Soaps and Shampoo, new wrapped dish sponge, Band-Aids, bear spray, fire wood, ice chests, games, etc). VRBO didn't send the key code to get in but Nancy is great and very responsive and resolved that issue quickly. The location is not as secluded as the listing indicated in my opinion. The cabin is in a neighborhood and right off a main road. Nonetheless, it has great mountain and lake views and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is almost exactly 14.5 miles from the West Yellowstone entrance with a beautiful drive to and from.
Overall this is a great little cabin with a great owner. We will likely stay here again if we return to this area (which we plan to).

Wonderful stay at Nancy’s Nest. This cozy log cabin with a view of Henry’s Lake was a perfect retreat after our busy days at Yellowstone. We did a long drive to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park and shorter trips to Mesa Falls and Big Springs. We enjoyed the sunsets from the porch, roasting marshmallows over the fire and even meeting some of the neighbors. The decor is charming, every detail is well thought out and the host is very accessible. We plan to be back!

We loved it!!! The cabin was absolutely darling. The perfect mix of old and new. So much attention to detail. We were able to completely relax and unwind. The location was great, the WiFi was fantastic and the host was exceptional. We will definitely be back.

We loved staying at this cabin with a lovely view. It is close to Yellowstone, but away from the crowds of the park. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings. We used the BBQ everyday, and the fire pit at night. It is located in Island Park, and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, especially Big Springs and Johnny Sack Cabin. The cabin is well appointed, nicely furnished and the washer/ dryer is nice to have. We highly recommend this cabin, and would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is adorable! The perfect distance to come home to each day after touring Yellowstone and surrounding areas. Well stocked, comfortable, clean, and cozy. Nancy has thought of everything and was very accessible. Can’t say enough good things. Thank You!
