We had a great time staying here; it’s location to the beach was just right to run back when necessary. The pool and hot tub was great as was the outdoor seating options for views of sunrise and sunset.
We had a couple of issues that were quickly and agreeably handled by both property manager and owner. I’d stay here again.

Had a great time! Property owner was great with addressing concerns quickly. Pool was awesome. Perfect little walk to the beach and shops. Would book again.

Two sets of grandparents, 1 set of parents, 1 uncle, 2 dogs, and the 22 month old had an absolutely wonderful time at Carolina Breeze. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were great, and the kitchen/dining/living room was comfortable for all. We brought out own highchair, which was good because the booster seat there didn't meet our needs. The kitchen had plenty of place settings and cooking equipment.
We had to use some ingenuity keeping the toddler safe on the stairs, but everything worked out just fine. We enjoyed the outside spaces (pool, sunny deck, shaded deck, hot tub) a lot! The ocean was so close, it made for easy, frequent trips to the beach. We enjoyed the views and the lovely breezes: if it was hot on one side outdoors, we went to a different side to catch the breeze. Or we jumped in the pool, which was a refreshing temperature. I whole-heartedly recommend Carolina Breezes!

The house is just as advertised. Three houses back from the ocean. Great location! Tons of outdoor seating. Great pool area. Everything was very clean in communication with the owner was excellent! They had all the utensils you needed. The game room could use an upgrade, but overall we would stay again. I had a fantastic time!

Carolina Breeze was wonderful for our family, ranging in age from 74 years to 10 weeks. It was stocked better than any beach rental we ever had, especially the kitchen. The beds were also the most comfortable we had experienced in a rental. The beach is a two minute walk, however it is not very deep, as the ocean is stealing the sand from this spot. Several of the houses right on the beach have had to be moved. It is peaceful and uncrowded and provides the raw material for awesome sandcastles. The pool was great and the hot tub got used numerous times! The representative we dealt with was very helpful. If we ever return to Rodanthe, we will definitely consider Carolina Breeze again.

Excellent location with a great area for families to hang out and make memories! The pool and hot tub were perfect! The view of the ocean, (for the location) was great!

very pleased overall, a baby gate at the top of the steps would be helpful , I would rent this again for sure! we were missing a set of linens and Vino had them there in a couple hours, he's very responsive..

Good price for the property. Lots of rooms with there own bathroom. Great kitchen to cook in. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the pool. 2nd year we stayed there and some improvements made.

This was our second stay at this property. It is absolutely perfect for our large group of adults and children. The beach is so close and the house is very well equipped. We love hanging by the pool in the afternoon. The deck is large enough for outdoor games or lounging. If you are considering this property don’t hesitate. The beach is a 3 minute walk on a dead end road. We had an infant and toddler and this was such a nice street to be on. There is also an amazing ice cream shop right at the end of the road. The owner is quick to respond and very friendly. We hope to stay again!

This was our second stay. Owner is gracious as always. Perfect location, house, and price.

Process was hassle free. The house was wonderful with plenty of room for all 10 of us. Between the pool, hot tub, game room, and the family room next to the kitchen we had a great time getting together and room to spread out. The beach was a 3 minute walk and the OBX had more to see than we had time for.

We rented this property early on as we were planning an extended family vacation. The owner was kind and responsive as we had questions leading up to our stay, as well as during our stay. Some things needed some attention and updating (due to normal wear and tear during prime season), and Vino endured his handyman came out to address things quickly and effectively. The house was super close to the beach which was great. We do wish we had paid to heat the pool, but that was my mistake assuming we wouldn't need it in August...lol.

We stayed at Vinos house for an extended family vacation. Vino was incredibly communicative and helped us fix some issues as fast as he could.
We had super windy weather so the pool was a life saver. The beach is close to the house but very narrow. Not enough space for beach games.
We had 6 kids- ages 9, 7, 7, 5, 3, 1. The house was great for them but location was a bit remote. All restaurants and things to do with kids are 30+ minutes away. Groceries are 30 ish minutes away.
We all had a wonderful time and loved the dual living areas/game room.

From finding the property to packing up to leave a very easy experience
Plenty of room and great access to the beach.
Will definitely stay here again!

The property was not up to my expectation. I have stayed in Corolla for the past 10 years and overall this unit was not up to the standard set with the Corolla units. Toilets needed to be plunged daily in several of the bathrooms, pool deck flooring had raised up in several areas creating a hazardous situation and overall the unit could use a facelift including a kitchen update. On a good note, the unit is a short walk to the ocean and everyone felt the beach one of the best we stayed at.

Our family had a great time staying at this property this past week. The house was very spacious and allowed all of us to both be together and have our own separate spaces. There was an over abundant number of bathrooms which was great because we had 13 people staying for the week including 6 children.
The location is perfect. We were able to enjoy the beach as much as we wanted because it was just a few steps away from the home. Also for those times we preferred to swim in the pool, the on-site pool was a huge hit with the kiddos! Not to mention, the ice cream shop at the end of the road was frequented by us on several occasions.
The home was clean upon our arrival and the beds were very comfy. No complaints from anyone.

We had a great stay at this property. The house is accurately described in the listing. The property manager was easy to work with and get in touch with if needed. We would all return to this location if we decided to stay in Rodanthe again.

Great time with family and friends. Property convenient to beach, grocery stores, shopping and activities. Online pics accurate and property check in easy. Vino always got right back with any questions, would stay again.

Our family had a wonderful week at the Carolina Breeze. The weather was perfect and the location was only a short walk to the beach. There was plenty of room in this house so you never felt cramped. The pool was refreshing after a day at the beach. The owner was very responsive to any issues we might have. You can’t go wrong renting this place. . J. S.

The check in process was very easy and the communication with the property management was super. The property management/owner responded immediately about a few cleaning concerns. The cleaning personnel delivered brand new bath mats and shower curtains the next day. Our location was the best area we have rented because the ocean/beach area was so close. The pool and hot tub were both thoroughly enjoyed and were well maintained and very clean. The kitchen had everything including a crock pot, keurig type coffee pot and 2 Brewing type coffee pots and there were plenty of dishes, cups, glasses,, cookware, and pots and pans. My family of 15 really enjoyed staying at the Carolina Breeze.

Sure got our exercise going up and Down the 3 stories with bedrooms and bathrooms on every level.
Very lovely time, everyone enjoyed their time.

The house was perfect for what we needed it for, which was just a low key week away from the world! The rooms were the perfect size, with some a tad bigger then others if you needed space. We all loved that every room had its own bathroom. We made it work but the refrigerator upstairs is a tad small, especially for a large group like ours; it was a good thing there was another 1 downstairs that we used for beverages. We paid to have the pool heated, it never got to temp but was warm enough for the children to swim almost every day. The host was great about replying to questions throughout the week, we didn’t have any major concerns (thankfully)! Would definitely recommend!

Vino was an awesome host. Our original trip was planned for Miami, Fl but Hurricane Eta decided to throw a wrench in our plans at the last minute. We booked quickly and easily had our Plan B. We found beautiful weather in an amazingly beautiful area! Vino's house was beautifully positioned between the ocean and the sound. Also, well located along the Outer Banks for short day trips. There is so much space in Vino's house! Although we were only two couples, we personally have a large family and could easily have accommodated our family and our friends' family with plenty of room to spread out. Very comfortable, spacious, family friendly and well located. The local restaurants were tasty, friendly and COVID safe. Highly recommend! Definitely want to come back soon!

Property has great views of the ocean and easy access to the beach! You literally can stand in the kitchen, look in either direction and see water. Around 8:00 o’clock each morning you can sit on the top deck and watch the dolphins swim by. House had plenty of room and lots of amenities. Kitchens is stocked with plenty of essentials. Although we ran across a technical issue our host made sure the issue was resolved in a timely manner. Host also checked in to confirm our stay was comfortable and met our expectations. If looking for a home away from home this is a must!

Overall, the property is well maintained and appeals to a wide variety of ages and interests. The owner was in contact throughout our stay to make sure that things were running smoothly because of inclement weather and flooding from the ocean. We will be back next year!

Excellent location. The place fit my family perfect. We had 14 of us.

We spent a wonderful week at the Carolina Breeze. Fun filled days on the beach or in the beautiful pool. In the evening we watched the sunset after a brief walk to the ice cream store just up the road. We cooked smores on the beach one evening. It was a very memorable week and we will definitely be back next year. We also relaxed in the hot tub spa after a fun filled day. Highly recommend the Carolina Breeze. The wood family from Williamsport PA.

My group truly loved staying at Carolina Breeze. It had every single thing that we were looking for in a home and more, at a fraction of the cost that we were looking to spend for similar homes through realty companies. The owner was extremely nice and responded quickly to concerns/questions. We had an issue with the hot tub and I called the owner and there was a maintenance man there to check it out and resolve the issue within an hour. The house was very clean. Halfway through the week, there were two men there to clean the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked and the game room on the ground level was a favorite amongst our group. We spent a lot of time at the beach but it was still so nice having the large private pool and deck right outside. We will definitely be back!! I can't say enough good things about our experience with Vino (owner) and Carolina Breeze!

We already miss staying at the Carolina Breeze. This is a gorgeous beach house with spectacular views of both the sound and the ocean. There are plenty of rooms so the more the merrier. The game room is great for rainy days. Plenty of books, games, tvs if you think you need more than the beach OR pool. Its great to relax outside on the decks or pool side. If you love to cook, the kitchen is roomy and plenty of pots and pans.
This beach house is one we hope to stay at every spring or summer just because it seems like a home away from home......with a view and a short walk to the beach. Pure fun....and a great place to make lasting memories.
5.0
I don't know where to begin. The fact it is so economical did cause me some worry, but when we arrived it all disappeared!!! We loved the house, we loved the location. Rodanthe is in between Nags Head and Avon however not as busy as either place which was what we liked the best. As long you don't mind a little drive to the "touristy" things this is THE PLACE to stay. Walk to the beach was minutes and walk to the ice cream store was also minutes :). The Waves Market is recommended!! The large pool and hot tub just made this perfect for a large family. We were able to have our children and grandchildren all togther on vacation. There is so much space in this house.....you can even escape from each other if you need to. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would possibly need from tons of plates, dishes, cups, and glasses to every size of pot, pan, bowl and serving dish. There are also any electrical small applicance you could possibly need even a griddle. Coffee pot takes #4 cone filters. There is a keurig. Seafood eating utensils and tools. The washer and dryer were invaluable when it came to keeping up with towels and laundry. I suggest you bring dishwasher detergent, dish soap, laundry soap and dryer sheets as well as trash bags for kitchen and bathrooms(I did and used everything I brought). We did not watch a lot of TV however there were times when some wanted alone time and having TV in everyroom was a plus. Vino was attentive and responsive as was the concierge service available for you if you stay here. Everything worked, everything was clean and the rooms were plenty big enough with closets in most and dressers for clothes. Things to note; there are a ton of stairs in this house, I do not reccomend for elderly who may have trouble traversing stairs, however there is a sink, fridge and microwave on lowest level by the pool. That fridge was perfect for quick access to snacks and drinks when in the pool yard. We also had an 18 mo old with us so with the stairs everywhere inside and out it was necessary to have constant eyes on her. That was of course fine with us however I am noting for those of you who may have little ones you might want to bring a couple baby gates. We did not and wish we did. I can't say enough about this place. I guess the last thing I will say to convince you it is well worth every penny and then some is we have already reserved a week to return next year. As I said in my title, First ANNUAL stay at Carolina Breeze.

Carolina Breeze was the perfect place for our family retreat. There was more than enough room for everybody and having 7 toilets didn't hurt! It was nice to soak in the hot tub and sip some wine our first night after having a long day of driving. The pool was also a great place to unwind after all those hard days on the beach! Speaking of the beach, it's only about a 5 minute lazy stroll down the road to the surf.
It's close enough that you can come and go without much care about forgetting anything.
The house itself was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The game room downstairs was the mainstay for all the kids. Between the pool and deck outside, pool table, fooseball and the video games that we brought and hooked up on the large TV, plus them having their two bedrooms down there, we never saw them until they were hungry! There was also a mini kitchen down there with a small sink, microwave, and fridge for snacks and drinks.
The location is perfect if you're trying to truly get away from the typical "beach scene".
It's about a half hour drive to Nags Head and all the supermarkets and beach type attractions (mini-golf, outlet stores, souvenir shops, chain restaurants, etc.)
Rodanthe itself has a few local shops and eateries. There are a couple of markets for essentials, and Waves Market does have a nice deli for lunch. There is a small mom and pop gift shop and ice cream place at the end of the road that we would just walk to for a nice treat.
There's also the Rodanthe Pier which is about a 10 minute walk down the beach where you can go fishing or just sit and relax. There is parking if you choose to drive there instead and they do rent out equipment to go fishing.
We had a wonderful time staying here and only regret that we had to leave!
We will be returning in the future and will definitely be giving Vino a call when we do!
Stay here, you'll love it!

7 nights close to the beach was so refreshing and this home and it's owner made our stay feel like we were in our own home. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved being able to see the ocean on two sides from the top floor! Short walk to the beach which was perfect for us. There was ample space for our group, lots of beds and baths and the living room area was spacious for hanging out in and clean. Lots of steps though - you'll get a workout lol! lol Also when you're in the area try Waves Market - amazing sandwiches!

We returned to the Outer Banks for the first time in 21 years. We loved our stay at the Carolina Breeze. The house is beautiful, well-maintained, & has everything you may need for a comfortable stay. The beach is just steps away and the Rodanthe Pier is just a 10 minute walk up the beach. Perfect for surf fishing & sight-seeing. Vino was wonderful to work with each step of the way. Wonderful home & property manager!
