La Jolla Palms offers you your own private luxury resort , fully remodeled 2023, with new hardwood oak floors throughout. Relax by the beautiful heated pool and spa, outside builtin kitchen area and bar with BBQ and refrigerator. The accommodation offers 5 beautiful elegant well appointed bedrooms 2 of which are master suites. There is a large well stocked kitchen with formal living room and dining room. You will not want to leave.... My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and larger family. On a major artery, 10 minute drive to nightlife of Gaslamp, San Diego Airport, downtown and Seaworld, Balboa Park and San Diego Zoo. Not Forgetting famous world class beaches of La Jolla. Please note there is an additional fee for pool and spa heating. There are exterior security cameras in operation for the safety and protection of both guests and property, located on the driveway, front door and patio, the camera range is approximately 50 feet. I am dedicated to providing an outstanding experience for you and your family/guests. Please note large groups must be 25's and over, parties and events are not permitted., ID is required. Security camera details: This home is equipped with exterior surveillance as local city noise ordinance requires. 2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD150 per day must be paid prior to check-in. Guests can contact Suzanne after booking to purchase pool heat for your stay. Minimum booking age is 25 + 1 Small dog under 20 lbs must disclose at the time of booking. [DISCLAIMERS] - No smoking in or outside of this home. Subject to a $300 fine. $1000 deep cleaning fee. - Occupancy and noise limits are strongly enforced. Subject to fines that can reach up to $1,000 per violation. - IDs and security deposits when applicable will be requested after booking - We have the right to report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud Quiet time must be observed, 10pm - 8am in consideration to our neighbors. No rowdy parties or events. No additional visitors. You may be asked to leave and forfeit reservation charge.

Amazing attention to detail at this beautiful and spacious home. The master suite is amazing and the perfect setting for our bride to get ready before her wedding. Thank you Suzanne for your hospitality!

* Property was indeed nice and clean, but it was also quite expensive
* Property manager communicated well generally—was prompt and provided the answers we needed, except for one instance
* Note—no access to washer/dryer
* Spa was impressive—it heated up very quickly
* Strangely, there are no doors to some of the showers. Maybe that is a plus to some people.
* Possibly cat allergens on site—two from our party reported allergies following their stay, and one found what appeared to be cat toys under a bed. We could be wrong—would check with manager if you are allergic
* We promptly received a note to turn music off at 10:03 PM (quiet hours begin 10 PM according to signage on site). The reason provided was that a neighbor complained about the noise we were making. Given that we kept the music so low that we could barely hear it ourselves, this seemed unlikely.
* Would be nice to label drawers—difficult to find what we needed

This house is top notch! Very comfortable beds. Lots of room. Most stocked kitchen ever! Pool and spa were great! Towels galore! Great showers and bath supplies. Nice appliances, dishes and glassware. Classy! Everything you could want. Alarms on doors going to the pool were a nice safety feature with the little ones. We loved it for 10 of us. No access to washer and dryer though.

We had 12 people in our group. This property accommodated all our needs. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean and well organized. Very nice neighborhood. Location was great most attractions within 15 to 30 minutes, beach, Zoo, Old Town, Sea World, etc. Property owner very accessible and helpful with questions concerning the property.

My family and I stayed at this house a couple of weeks ago and were so happy with just everything this house had to offer. The kitchen was beyond stocked with every single cooking utensil and servingware that you could ever imagine. There were wonderful spices, high end teas and coffee, and not to mention a beautiful Breville espresso maker. I have stayed at many VRBOs’s and this is by far the most stocked kitchen I have ever experienced. All of the bedrooms were fabulous, including the most luxurious sheets. The other thing that I have to mention is that all of the wonderful hair care, products, and perfumes that are stocked in each bedroom and bathroom. The house itself was so well thought out with the master bedroom being very far removed from all the other bedrooms. It’s literally like you have your own private wing. The outside area is absolutely perfect for a family or entertaining. In the front and back of the house is beautifully landscaped with lemon trees, fresh rosemary, Kale and all sorts of beautiful Flora. Our grandchildren absolutely left the pool and hot tub. There is even a pack and play and toys for children to play with which was very thoughtful . The location was also beyond perfect. Your 10 minutes from the main town of La Jolla. More importantly, is the host, Suzanne, who was so incredibly gracious and responsive. We highly recommend this house recommend this house. Stop reading this and just go.

The house itself was extremely beautiful. And the location was great for where we wanted to go. However, there was numerous fly/bug traps around the property which gave the outdoor area (front and back) a very pungent smell. The house is located on a very busy main road which can definitely be heard easily when inside the house and did unfortunately keep me and my friends awake at night.
Speaking to the owner was great at first. However, once we got into the house, her responses began to become very slow and we did have difficulty communicating. She wanted me to sign a house waiver for multiple different things to include a separate waiver to have the pool and spa heated. She required we pay $450.00 to have the pool and spa heated throughout the day for the 3 night stay we were there. She sent me instructions on how to download an app, and then provided me vague instructions on how to actually heat the pool and spa. Once I downloaded the app, it asked me numerous questions to which I didn’t know the answer. I texted her and asked which she provided no response.
She messaged me one day on the trip to advise me her neighbors reported “loud voices”. She informed me of their “quiet time hours”. However, the same neighbors violated these said rules by mowing their lawn during the listed quiet time hours which awakened all of my guests at 7am and they were not able to relax and sleep in.
Overall, the house was ok. But not worth all of the issues dealing with the homeowner.

The attention to detail, thorough communication, excellent location and overall experience is second to none! Wonderful time with family and friends all made possible by an extremely hospitable host who has spared no details in making this VRBO feel like home. Next time we travel to the San Diego area we will make look to see if this property is available before booking any others. Thank you for a great experience!

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at La Jolla Palms!
The house lay out was fantastic for an extended family retreat ranging from toddlers to elderly members. Relaxing sitting areas inside and a welcoming front and backyard. As coffee and tea consumers the house was well stocked! The kitchen had everything you need for cook outs. The location is great for a easy drive to Sea World/Mission Bay or La Jolla/Torrey Pines.
Suzanne was a great host and very communicative from check in to check out! She even kindly checked in with us during our stay just to make sure everything was up to par - which it was! I did have an app issue with the jacuzzi but simply texted Suzanne and she turned it on/off from her end. Super easy.
Overall our family had a nice and relaxing weekend. I highly recommend the place. Better than a hotel (which we usually enjoy Aviara but now prefer La Jolla Palms!) I can’t wait to come back during our next visit back to San Diego.

Suzanne’s was a beautiful home. She is 8 hours ahead so we had some difficulty communicating and missed the chance to use the pool or hot tub, which was a shame, but the house is lovely.

Suzanne’s home was perfect for my 9 girlfriends & I to get away to for a weekend in February. The home is just a few minutes from downtown PB, Ubers to La Jolla, Coronado Gaslamp only ran us about $30 a trip. The home is clean and well stocked for cooking & relaxing. There are a lot of nice expensive pieces of furniture so it was thankfully a kid free trip! Overall we loved our visit & would definitely stay here again. Thank you Suzanne!

Ask for the pool to be heated early on. Read house rules carefully. Bring your own knives, serated knives ONLY. Overall, property is great.

House is great. Very fancy and luxurious decor. Pictures don’t do it justice. Host was very good communicator. Would be great for a family gathering.
Only downside is Extra charge for warming pool and it’s not walkable because it’s at the top of a hill and a couple miles to the nearest stores and restaurants.

Suzanne was absolutely wonderful! She thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect! I brought a ton of coffee and cups. Plastic plates and silverware but need none of it. This house has everything you need.
She has an amazing pool that we had heated during our stay. It was one of the most important things I was looking for but the whole house turned out to be exactly what we needed.
Suzanne was very easy to work with and communication with. She gets back to you quickly and is very good at making sure your visit is perfect.
The bed and mattress are so comfortable. Very bed in her home is great. Our group was very comfortable. We would definitely book this property again in the future.

My girlfriends and I had the absolute best time staying at Suzanne’s property. She responds to messages promptly. The amenities were fully stocked and she had everything we would’ve needed and had even forgotten to pack! (I.e. make up removal wipes, shampoo and condition air, shower cap). Her home was beautiful, comfortable, and so welcoming. I highly recommend this house and will return whenever we have another San Diego stay! Thank you Suzanne!!!

Stayed at Suzanne's property with a group of 8 guys. We had plenty of space, with enough beds and bathrooms for all. The property is gorgeous inside and out. The backyard pool area was definitely the highlight. The property is well situated near pacific beach and only a 10ish minute uber ride to the downtown area. Suzanne was also easy to communicate with both during and before the trip. Would recommend and would stay again! Thank you!

I would recommend this house to anyone visiting the area. It was extremely convenient to all that San Diego has to offer including Torrey Pines Golf Course, the Airport, Pacific Beach etc. The house was exactly as advertised and Suzanne is a fantastic host who stayed in communication with us through our stay as needed and made it truly an enjoyable visit.

We just returned from this beautiful home and we had such a nice time! It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 5 children, ranging in ages 3-11. The house was spacious, conveniently located and Suzanne was great to work with!

Everything at LaJolla Palms was fantastic! The house has everything that you could possibly need including pool towels, games, and beach chairs. Suzanne was very responsive to our questions and went out of her way to make sure the stay was awesome including recommending a local farmers market. We highly recommend this house for rental!

The home is as described, and the photos capture the space well. Our family of 9 throughly enjoyed this nicely kept, well appointed, home and pool.
The owners live here when not renting. They are very generous with spices, condiments, etc. Renters may feel they are entering someone else’s personal space, and may work to keep their own food, beverages, and gear separate.
The home is in a lovely area, on a rather busy street. We didn’t use the small, beautiful garden area in front, and instead enjoyed the quiet and private pool and patio in the back. Closing the front windows in the evening eliminated traffic noise.
There is lots of fine gathering space. We kept our children away from the lovely and plentiful glass tables and elegant decor as well as we could, and were thankful to avoid any mishaps.
Suzanne was responsive, provided complete instructions and information promptly, and is clearly very experienced at working with renters. We appreciated her efforts and enjoyed our week.

This property is close to a lot of attractions, beaches, and restaurants. The host was very accommodating, kind, and helpful. The home was perfect for five adults and four kids (my family, my brother’s family, and my dad); with the abundance of common areas we never felt cramped. Great outdoor areas in the front and back! We had to pay to have the spa heated, which was new to us being regular VRBO renters, but it was stated in the rental agreement. It is on a busy street where vehicles tend to exceed the speed limit, but the front outdoor area made it safe so the kids weren’t directly exposed to the traffic. We enjoyed our time in San Diego and in the home.
