Work remotely and stream on fast Wifi. 50" Roku TV. Brand new kitchen, new queen bed & new futon that will comfortably sleep 2 kids or one adult. FREE onsite parking. Second car is $20 per night. A short walk to the the Pier, Amusement Park, & lots of places to eat Please note this is a first floor unit. Washer and dryer machine is in the utility room in the back of the building and you have a key on your keychain for it. Also the train runs in the back of the property. I will never use VRBO again. The description of this rental is way off. The toilet is cracked so bad, the bathroom smells very strongly of urine due to the crack. The floor around the toilet seems to be rotting and the tiling around the toilet sounds crunchy when you step on it. I was afraid the toilet was going to go through the flooring. I would not shower in the shower provided as it was disgusting. The air conditioner is coated in mold and mildew and is located about 1 foot away from the head of the bed. This is an older unit that has not been cleaned. The train....the one that is not listed in the description....this train is only a few yards away from the head of the bed. The train runs by every hour and when it does, the horn of the train is blown about 2-4 times and the entire building shakes. If you are a family traveling; please be aware that this will be a very uncomfortable stay. The host was rude when I complained and the only concern was when will I be checking out. Since VRBO would not help in any way and the host was not owning the fact that this is a slum....I did not check out. I went to a hotel where luckily I had points that I could use, otherwise I would have been paying for the VRBO rental and the hotel. I used the VRBO rental as a parking spot and bathroom (it was cleaner than the public beach bathrooms just as long as I didn't actually sit on the toilet for fear if it crack or falling through the floor). I have pictures.

The property was a bit miss represented. Not two bedrooms and no mention of backing up to railroad tracks. Train went buy 7, 8 times a day. The linens were basic and I felt like I was in a dorm room. Location to beach was nice but not quite what I expected. Laundry was a great feature. Kind of run down. Felt like the bare minimum. Would not rent this property again. View was poor.

This was the perfect place for a get away with a close group of family or friends. It is walking distance from the beach and boardwalk attractions. The host was fantastic and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Horrible. When we arrived at the property we immediately noticed that the unit was FREEZING inside. To be specific it was 52 in the unit. Tried getting the heat to come on and had no luck. Not only did we have that issue but we saw that the very cheap futon that was supposed to be the second bed was broken. We immediately tried contacting the owner who did not reply. We had to book at another hotel since we had two kids with us. We also contacted the company we booked through who also couldn’t reach the owner. After finally getting the company to reach the owner. The owner proceeded to lie about the condition of the unit. He was extremely rude, condescending, attempted to threaten to report us to other properties. This owner cares nothing about the quality of his rental. Even without the other issues, the unit was old, outdated, run down.

Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The space was enough for our family of 4, but the unit is rather small. We were grateful to be able to have our dog with us, which was a major plus. The kitchen seems new and is well stocked, though quite small (the fridge is mini). The unit is just a two minute walk across the street to the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk area. There were some things we wished we had known. For example, and most importantly, there are train tracks directly behind the condo and trains go by many times throughout the night and they are loud! We were surprised no one mentioned this. The bathroom is quite old and the fixtures are coming off, though it was clean and functional. There were stains on the ceiling tiles and the blinds in the bedroom were broken. Despite these things, we had a nice stay and the owner was responsive and helpful when we were having trouble using the tv.

We needed a safe way to enjoy a few days by the Ocean during this Covid-19 pandemic. This, for us, meant having a kitchen and taking our senior, deaf, rescued toy poodle. This unit was very clean & satisfactory. A block from the beach which was not crowded during our visit. We prepared all our own meals. Except for the night we arrived when we enjoyed a Lobster Pizza, OUTSIDE, at the Pine Point Grill! We brought breakfast & lunch foods with us. suppers were seafood from the Fish Market in Portland. Lobster, Scallops, Steamers - ordered, picked up and prepared by us in the Unit’s kitchen. Plus three pies from The Two Fat Cats Bakery:):):)We were very pleased with the unit, the landlords & our stay. We feel we had a Covid-19 SAFE short vacation.Any suggestions are MINOR and more from our prospective. 1.) lighting in living room could be improved with brighter bulbs in ceiling and floor lamps by futon for reading. 2.) As a cook, I brought extra utensils & pans where we planned to handle our food during the pandemic. I should have brought a whisk, rubber scraper & sharp knife! For the majority of visitors the kitchen is supplied MORE THAN ADEQUATELY! And this is in no way a criticism!!!We lucked out with the weather and enjoyed hours of beach reading. We even found some “sea balls” which We had to look up as we had never seen them before.A GREAT, much needed, SAFE, get-a-way to our favorite part of the Maine Coast.
