such a cute little place. We enjoyed staying here across from the beach so it was quick access.

This was a great place for my husband and I. It is good for 2 people. It is a block to the ocean where there are 7 miles of beach to walk on. There are gift stores, restaurants and a Walgreens close by…walking distance. Only a 30-35min drive to Portland. The kitchen is small but functional. The bed is very comfortable.
There is a train track right behind the building and trains do blast their horns on the way by. It was 1-3 times a night while we were there. If you turn on the AC or fan it helps.
The place and location were great for us and we would stay again.

Really close to the beach! Convenience store directly across the street.
Some things that could be better…bathroom is old and appears dirty. The stairs going up are uneven. The chairs outside on the deck were peeling so bad you couldn’t sit on them. Wifi was TERRIBLE. Hard to send emails, my kids couldn’t be on their phones and watching a movie on Netflix or any platform was nearly impossible as it kept stopping and kicking you off the app.

Over all it was good, bathroom was off bedroom, not convenient for other guest staying on futon in living room. Backyard for dogs was very small, but enough space for the pups to do their duty. In all it worked for the few days we were there!

This was a great location next to the beach with easy parking. I would say is this place is great for a single person or a couple. There is a futon to use but its not the most comfortable. We stayed for a couple nights, which was a perfect amount of time. Our stay was during off season but I could see this being a perfect place to stay during on season.
Only complaint is the train...be prepared, it will wake you up in the middle of the night as it passes by shaking the entire place, no joke. Besides that, was a good little place to stay, would recommend. :)

The info we were given to get the keys did not work. We called and emailed and used the app to get this info and finally got someone one the phone who gave me several different combinations to try. He didn't know which one would work. The staircase to get up is in severe disrepair, full of splinters and hasn't been painted in years. Very unsafe and steep. A dog began barking and didn't stop and it was right next door to this room. Once inside it only took us 5 minutes to decide that it was impossible to stay there. It was dirty, the AC did not cool you down unless you stood in front of it. The bathroom is tiny. The 2nd bed in the living room is a 2" thick futon and there were no blankets/pillows available to use to even use this, but it was so hot inside the apartment that it would have been impossible to sleep in there, even if there were blankets. There was a broken broomstick used to "lock' the sliding glass windows. There were no screens on the windows. We only stayed about 10 minutes, which was long enough to find another place to stay, as it was impossible to stay there in the heat, with the dog and all of the other issues. The WiFi also barely worked, and we had to rely on data to find a nearby hotel to escape to. I spoke to VRBO that day to get a refund, and they said they would do it, and I even received a confirmation number for this. But they did not issue the refund. I had the charge removed from my credit card, but VRBO fought it and put it back on. I will not use VRBO again (they are impossible to get a hold of) and certainly will avoid this place at all costs. Stay away.

We rented the property for 5 days/4 nights. Conveniently located to the pier area and the the beach. Even though the train is located close to the property, we rarely noticed it passing by.

The property was clean, right in the middle of down town by the pier. It was a plus that we got to take our dogs. Only thing is the train run behind the building.

My fiancé, dog and I were looking for a place close to the Christmas Prelude in Kennebunkport. This was a great little place to stay, right across the street from the beach.

This is a nice little place real close to the beach. It was great for the two of us. We were surprised that the train runs right behind the bedroom multiple times per night. Other than that it was pretty great

located just a stones throw from the pier; access to the beach right across the street. This Condo was all that we needed. kitchenette, bedroom, clean warm bath and close to everything. The trains tracks were right out back but we live near train tracks so it wasn't a bother for us. I Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in OOB.

The location was close to the beach.
But the trains were right next to the back door
( within 40 feet ). The building would shake when a train went by. The first night it was 3 times in the middle of the night!

The property owners Alex & Elena are knowledgeable & quick to reply. When my children and I arrived after nine hours on the road, I was having trouble with the door lock and Alex answered the phone immediately when I called for help. I really appreciated that! Turns out VRBO had sent the wrong lock code and Alex gave me the right one immediately. The place is immaculately clean, and, had everything you could need for a short beach stay! Paper products, cleaning products, towels, linens, dishes and utensils… everything works as it should! If you are a light sleeper I recommend utilizing the fan/air conditioner (or sleeping in the front room), as the Amtrak between Boston and Portland is directly behind the building and runs 2x in the middle of the night around 1 & 4, shaking the building and the bed. My children slept in the front room and it did not affect them. Once I knew what was up and put on the fan, it didn’t bother me either. The other neighbors in the building were very friendly and polite. We were there during the end (or beginning) of a motorcycle week, and it was quiet by 11:30 PM and still quiet till about nine in the morning. We were not able to stay long enough to explore more than a few block range, but we did make it to the beach, amusement rides, arcade and the little shops around there. There is a great little convenience store/mini market at the end of the block (same side, north) that has all the little things you may have forgotten or need to grab, and they also have wine & beer (one stop shop). There’s plenty to do for people of all ages here! I am from South Jersey where we have Atlantic City, Ocean City, Wildwood & Cape May. OOB reminded me very much of all the good things about here, but in a new and even better environment! We would definitely visit again & stay longer!
