Light and breezy, this home is decorated in the laid back style of a beach house, and is an homage to its natural surroundings. The rooms are bathed in natural light thanks to large glass balcony doors, which frame the picturesque view down to the sea. There's nothing better than stepping out of your bedroom door in the morning and head down to the pool for a refreshing dip. There’s plenty of space to relax outside, whether it's snoozing on a deck chair beneath the pergola, or curled up on the sofas by the outdoor fireplace come evening. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, and there’s a barbecue so you can dine alfresco on flame grilled delights. Bakoven is a picturesque residential area in the south west of Camps Bay, home to some of the best swimming spots in Cape Town. Walk five minutes to tranquil Bakoven Beach for a refreshing plunge in the Atlantic, or drive three minutes for the sandy expanses of Camps Bay beach, dotted with restaurants and beach bars. The house is on the edge of Table Mountain National Park, where you’ll find a myriad of hiking trails through breathtaking scenery. Drive fifteen minutes to reach the hiking trail that leads up to the mountain itself, where you’ll be rewarded with the most jaw dropping views of Cape Town. After a strenuous hike, soak your muscles in the spa bath, before gathering for a hard earned cocktail on the balcony as you watch the sun set over the ocean.
