Check in process was longwinded. Didn’t manage to do digital check-in so had to drive to a different location to complete forms and pick up key to apartment.

We had several inconveniences with our stay in this apartment. When I picked up the keys, I asked for more than one set of keys. They were to be delivered the next day. However I had to ask for them several times before they were delivered. Being 5 people and one set of keys is very inconvenient. 15 minutes after I arrived in the apartment, I noticed that the Wi-Fi was not working. This was huge a problem as these old buildings have close to no cell-service. (We had to hang out of the window to receive text messages.) I notified Rimarent about this immediately. To make a very long, inconvenient and annoying story short: we never got any internet in that apartment. Every day there was another half-assed attempt of “have you tried tuning it on and off again” "Ill call the company again". They said they were going to try to get us a wireless modem, but that never arrived either. We were unable to contact our babysitters, our children, or follow up on work meetings that were planned. The whole reason of having a flat instead of a hotel room is so you have the convenience of a social zone. Due to the connectivity issue made this flat was a total nightmare to be tied to. I will never use Rimarent again. After almost a week of unsolved issues Rimarent said they would come by on the second last day so we could discuss a discount since we were very dissatisfied with lack of the promised amenities. You probably guessed it already? They never showed up. Stay away from this company. Take a hotel room instead. It will save you so much hassel.

The apartment was well maintained. It was extremely clean. There were basic amenities provided to us. The location of the apartment is perfect, near the cathedral. Overall I had a great stay.

Location was fantastic for all sites in Girona . Easy access to property, clean and comfortable.

It would have been easier to pick the keys up at a more convenient time without having to pay a charge.

Perfect location in Old town.!Everything is there, Basilika de San Felix just under corner,Cathedral de Girona just 3 min walk.Roman Bath and nice parks just 2 min.away.

The apartment is located on the 1 st.floor and there is another apartment above us and the residents walking loudly and moving some furniture and you can hear everything.But for value of this money they can refreshing cushions in living room sofa,they are look filthy.The ringing of bells does not disturb in morning they start just 7 at am.

Apartment needs a deep clean. Fridge hasn't had a proper clean in months and shower door needs one too. Place smells heavily of soot from open fireplace and a rancid smell emanates from the kitchen beside the washing machine. Absolutely rancid.

the elevator was a bit weird and blocked on one occasion. The emergency number in the cabin was not responding. We went out and everything else was fine. The apartment management company sent a technician right away to fix it.

A better system for access. Keys had to be picked up a mile away and with only one set we couldn’t move independently. Keypad access would be far better.

you can‘t beat this central location of the place

The location was very good. In the old town close to historical sites, places of interest and loads of cafes, bars and restaurants. Great map of Game of Thrones sites in the apartment.

Keys needed to be collected from an office 2.9km, 18 minutes by car away. No air conditioning, we knew this, but it was a bit noisy from the street to open the windows at night and felt unsafe to open at night as were not high from the street and other higher windows around had bars. It was unclear from the website which apartment was shown in the photos as multiple apartments are let in the same building and photos are shared. There was a strong smell in the kitchen.

Fantastic location! But perhaps in summer, with open windows, the sounds of the bell tower can interfere a little. The host is very polite and responsive. The apartment was clean, the linen was fresh, it was very comfortable to stay there as a family with two children.

Collecting keys from another part of town was very inconvenient. Also this was the first place we have ever stayed that did not have a cofffee machine. That was a major minus

The bathroom did not have basic toiletries (did not even have hand soap) and we were given only two towels for 5 people.

The apartment was charming and had an excellent view. I will definitely be using this apartment again if it is available. Great location and excellent price. Great for a long weekend and spacious enough for friends to come along.

Only suggestion. fix blinds in living room, the way they tie-up is a drag, and the broken one obstructs view. Beds could use new comforters and more pillows and blankets.
