The location was terrific, right near Sol. The apartment was clean and well furnished, exactly as it looks in the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was quiet at night despite being so centrally located. The outside patio was very nice and has a partial view of Sol. The owner sent arrival instructions a few days in advance. Our flight arrived early, but were able to meet the cleaner at the apartment to get the keys and leave our luggage in the rooms until check in. Working knowledge of Spanish would help with that, but I'm sure you can get by with google translate too.

The Property was amazing and the location was fantastic. It was extremely hot and if there were fans in the bathrooms and bedrooms that would have been helpful. Also, a concierge who spoke English would have been helpful as well.

This apartment was just perfect for us — very comfortable (from the nice sheets and comfy beds to the boundless water pressure, A/C, big flat-screen TV, ample refrigerator and fully applianced kitchen, and cute balcony to dry our clothes which we washed in the great washing machine — which also had a dry function if we needed it). However, the star of the show was the incredible location, just steps from Plaza del Sol and less than a mile from everything we did. I can’t recommend this property more. Fabulous!

This apartment is just as described. It served as a great starting point for the touristy activities that my friend and I did on our first visit to Madrid; everything we did seemed to be within a 10-15 minute walk. :) The place was very clean, and there is a big couch so that we could both chill out comfortably in the living room at the same time (not always the case). The concierge was fabulous; I had to bring out my limited Spanish conversational abilities, but everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this spot.

I traveled with my 80year old mother, and the apartment was perfect for both of us. It is located on a pedestrian street, and it is a short walk from where the taxi will drop you off. The entrance is a bit hidden, but it is on the right side of the street across from El Museo del Jamón. There is a lift to go up to the apartment, but you might need to take two trips if you have a lot of luggage. Ana, the concierge, was AMAZING!!! The outdoor terrace was lovely, and there are two steps up from the living room to access it. Overall, an incredible stay. Thank you very much.

Perfect location for exploring Madrid. Apartment was as-described, and has a clothing washing machine in the kitchen (no dryer). We did not spend much time in the unit since we were out exploring the city, but we would not hesitate to rent it again on our next visit to Madrid. Bedrooms are not facing the noisy plaza so we did not have any street noise in the bedrooms at night.

This apartment was quite a find. It was clean and comfortable, airy and bright. We don't cook, but the kitchen is quite nice and very well equipped for those who do. The terrace is a real plus. The location couldn't be better. We were very happy with this rental choice.

Apartment is one of the best VRBO rentals we have had. The location was right in the heart of Madrid, and we walked everywhere we went! We saw and visited many sites but what we most enjoyed was just walking the streets of Madrid, which was extremely easy and pleasant to do from this location. The host, Rufino, and the concierge, Mrs. Ana, were both absolutely wonderful to deal with and extremely helpful. (Just note that Rufino and Ana are native Spanish speakers and not conversant in English, though this did not hinder us at all). We look forward to a return visit when the Puerta del Sol construction is completed.

Unfortunately the communication was basically non existent from the start which should have been a sign. We were pleased when we were able to get in yes it's how it is described on the site but we ran into a few issues that causes me to leave this review especially since we have had no communication back. First the TV didn't work and we were told the next day well it never worked the entire stay but the worst of it was my daughter and then myself when we switched beds got bite marks on us and I can only assume it was from the bed we were sleeping in. No other family member were bitten. I would try to find another spot!

Everything’s about this place was great. Very central, surrounded by plenty of places to eat. Super convenient with an elevator and washer/dryer. I would absolutely recommend this place. The staff was extremely friendly and had everything we needed.

The apartment was spacious, with all sorts of small appliances and plenty of plates, cups and silverware. The location could not have been better, upgraded bathrooms, washing/drying machine. Ana, the porter was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend! Great terrace with a view of Puerta del Sol. Thank you Rufino!

Location is as described - central. Moved to a 4.5 star hotel even nearer to Plaza Mayor because my familia did not like the odor of the building ( bunch of hostels :( in the end the 4.5 star hotel is even cheaper than this apartment. Last time using Vrbo, bye bye.

This apartment has everything you need for a convenient, comfortable visit to Madrid. It is centrally located next to the Puerta del Sol, the Plaza Mayor, the Plaza de Santa Ana, the Barrio de las Letras and within walking distance to all the great museums of Madrid. It is clean, the beds are great, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare food, and the terrace is wonderful. You have a partial view of Sol and beautiful sunsets. Ana, the portera, is excellent and addresses any problem you might have. Security is great. You couldn't choose a better apartment for a visit to Madrid.

It’s difficult to add anything new to the excellent reviews this apartment has already had from others. We visited the Madrid open tennis tournament and it was a perfect location for that. But if I come back to Madrid for any reason I’ll look first to see if this apartment is available.

Location is excellent only a 1/10 mile from purto del sol Which has a subway station 1/3 mile from plaza Mayor. We are staying in Madrid for 11 days and we Can walk everywhere. Both my Kees have been replaced and I have walked 5 miles every day with zero discomfort. Before buying a subway ticket walk around. If you buy a ticket I suggest buying a 10 ride ticket first.
