Check in was pleasant and there was ample parking. But, The 4th floor had multiple rooms with barking dogs. The street noise from outside was so loud I had to leave the TV on to drown it out.
It would have been nice to be able to eat breakfast, but it didn’t open until well after we had to leave to go to the volleyball tournament.
For $200 a night it was definitely overpriced.

Very good hotel for the price and an excellent river view. but the building is very old even though it is maintained very well. But I guess the time is getting ready for a remodeling. But still I was happy with the stay

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. It was an easy check-in, the room had a beautiful view, the room was very clean and relaxing and it was everything we needed for our stay.

This is a run down, old hotel that is need of a good cleaning everywhere outside the front lobby. Front lobby gives the impression that this is a decent place. We had a river view room with a balcony. The balcony was sketchy and felt like it was going to fall right off the building and the railing was very rickety. There was a security guard that drove around the building all night with an extremely bright flashing light which lit up the room every time he drove by. I chose this place based on the reviews on hotels.com. I was very, very disappointed in the state of this property. Will not stay here again.

We had a river view room, I really enjoyed the view and would pay extra for it again. The room was clean, the mattress was very comfortable. The parking lot was patrolled by security all night and that let me relax that my car would be safe while we slept. The facilities were mostly renovated, it looks like they still have more to do. I bet it'll be really nice when it's all done. This will be our go to place when we visit Portland in the future. We can easily get to everything from there but the little island it's on has a tranquil feel and lots of stores and restaurants near by

Room was spacious and very clean. Very happy with the accommodations overall. Beds dipped in the middle though, so not the most comfortable sleep, but still adequate for the price paid.

Rooms are clean and hotel is well maintained. The hotel lobby is good too and has many dining options. Overall a good option for families traveling to Portland.

Suprising nice stay. Its an old property and a little dated. But can see where upgrades have been made. Overall cleanliness was pretty good and view of the rived was amazing

Beautiful place by the Columbia River. We came late fall but I can see how awesome it is in summer with the pools open and the sun shining. Very convenient when comming and returning to Seattle.

Not the best place. It’s in a pretty industrial area, parking lot wasn’t well lit. Upon checking in we were given our keys and though the hotel was pretty empty staff decided to put us right next to the elevator.
The room was nothing to write home about. Carpets were in need of cleaning, linens weren’t so great, and the shower had a 12” step UP to get into, and the shower floor was very slippery causing my partner to slip and hurt her leg on the square tile edge leading into the shower . Likely the most unsafe shower design I’ve ever seen.
The amenities were sparse and the provided coffee very bitter and cheap. I don’t recommend this hotel, and I likely won’t be back here again, maybe avoiding holiday in / IHG altogether.

Great hotel if out are traveling with your furry family members, the hotel is super clean and easy access for our pets to walk and exercise.

The interior upgrades to the bedding and technology were appreciated.
But, there were cockroaches in the bathroom as well as mold around the shower base.

Our stay was great. The front desk allowed us to check out late at 2pm since our flight departs late in the evening.
There’s plenty of parking and a lot of places to eat. Having a microwave and refrigerator in the room is extremely convenient.
Also major plus with the free parking.
Washington is just over the bridge in case you want to visit another state.

I’ve stayed in this hotel many times under different names over the years, and now another. We were disappointed to see the restaurant/bar area we knew is gone. It is also weird that the elevator is now all closed in and not clear glass - a bit claustrophobic and not as fun. The rooms are still nice and comfortable.

This was a wonderful holiday inn. The rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable, and well-maintained. The restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner was delicious and well staffed. All of the staff that I encountered at this Holiday Inn at the front desk and the restaurant were wonderfully pleasant and polite. I highly recommend this hotel, and will return when I come back to Portland.

Dinner was great. Service was very good. Hotel is old and some part look “unkept”. Trash cart was left right in the lobby. View of the Columbia River was awesome!!

Large property with ample parking. Right on river with lovely views. Nice restaurant with several delicious and fresh food options. Good drinks, too. Outside pool, so did not use, but looked nice. Not sure what the $10 extra facility fee is for as only tennis courts and pool which were not used, but overall not too expensive for the room. A bit of wear and tear in the room but clean. Nice fridge. Not near much that is walkable outside the hotel other than a couple of fast food restaurants.

Our stay was perfectly comfortable. We had a double queen family suite. It was spacious with all the amenities. I will hopefully stay again soon.

Our room had 2 queen beds. Very spacious room. Rooms looked to be recently remodeled. Restaurant in hotel has good food.
Only complaint is there’s 1washer and 1 dryer for the guests to use. The dryer was out of order. This was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.

The amenities of activities were incredible. Their pool and hot tub had a resort-like feel with their white chairs, pool towel service and ability to order food poolside. The tennis court area was well manicured and no cracks in the court. It felt like you were playing in a mini stadium with the rooms going up 4 stories all around you. We had such a fun time enjoying ourselves at both places
