Amazing stay. The price was good. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the shower too. I will visit again in the summer time.

No hot water i let the front desk know she said you have to let it run for 30 min. That's to long for hot water.
I never did that for hot water. And the room heater was blowing cool air stay away from this place no good.

We arrived at the hotel and found a near empty parking lot (there were 4 cars in the lot). We went into the lobby which smelled of mold, mildew, mustiness, and nicotine. The lobby was cold and dark and other than the active security camera monitor we thought the property was abandoned or closed. There was no staff in the lobby and no bell or any other way to reach staff, we stood in the lobby for 10 minutes and no one came to the lobby. We saw a person in a winter jacket down a long corridor who quickly disappeared, which added to the abandoned motif. We went back to our vehicle to try and get a signal to contact the hotel but were unable to so we ended booking another hotel in the area.

Non-smoking smelled like smoke, only one person on so ha d to get to desk for batteries for remote. If you hadn't been there before you wouldn't know the motel was there, behind an abandoned building, no clear direction

I never leave reviews but this place, I just have to warn you about. The property was horrific. Nothing like the pictures and looked like it was straight out of a horror film. There was lack of security on the additional outside doors to enter the building. Anyone can enter the building because there was no need to use hotel key card to enter- it was just open.
The room was absolutely disgusting! It was dirty with dust everywhere. There was a muggy and moldy smell both in the hallways and in the room. The bathroom was beyond disgusting, with a mold smell from the bathtub and stains everywhere. There was also pee stains on the toilet - I had to use my own Lysol wipe to clean it. We didn’t even feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. We slept OVER the comforter and used our jackets as blankets. This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. They need to seriously upgrade and find a new cleaning crew. If I could, I would rate this hotel a 0.
I will never stay here again even.

Staff were very friendly, helpful, and the hotel was in a very convient location. However, the hotel is not well maintained.
We had to run the water on the first floor for 30 mins each time of use if we wanted hot water. The faucet and shower both were not well installed and leaked with each use.
The pool has been broken for months, yet is still listed on website and shown in images. Also, only one room key was given and its a $5 dollar charge if you don’t return it on checkout.

This property has seen better days and was somewhat alarming to pull up to but the rooms have clearly been recently updated and were clean. Staff were welcoming and the lobby had been decorated for the holiday. I'd stay there again.

The rooms could be cleaner. False advertisement. We had children with us and were looking for a pool. Pool was not in available. They should have given us a better rate and refused to.

Dead cockroaches, crickets, mouse feces on the pillows, smoke detector hanging off the wall

The hotel was advertised as having a breakfast but does not offer one. The pool was closed "for cleaning" but one could look in and see that the roof offered no protection whatever from the steady rainfall outside, creating a danger, and that was clearly why it was closed. They are doing renovations but are not transparent about their services.
However the worst thing for us was the inflexibility of the management. We reserved a suite for Thursday and Friday nights for two adults and two children expecting two queen beds. They gave us keys two adjoining rooms when we checked in late Thursday night. The next day they called us and told us we needed to check out that day or pay another $400 for Friday night. Upon showing them the printed receipt they agreed that the mistake was the fault of their employee, but since we had accepted the keys, they expected us to pay for the additional room for two nights. We chose to leave the hotel, and go elsewhere for the second night. Then they wanted additional money for early checkout.

I liked that it was close to the aquarium and mystic village. But that was really it. The price was good but remember you get what you pay for. The staff was sweet but the property needs a little help.

Staff was nice
Rooms were clean and comfortable

The good: The people who worked there seemed nice and the bathroom was clean. The price was low
The bad: Strong smell of mold/mildew in the lobby and halls (not as bad in the room because the AC was running but without the AC on the air quality was terrible.) A bucket in the lobby to catch water (maybe that is connected to the mold smell, not sure). The room looked like a fight had taken place in there at some point (the lamp on the side table was bent to the side and there were patched holes in the bathroom door. The overall feel of the place was run down and oddly unsafe (there were only two other visitors in the whole place so that may have contributed to the slight "horror movie" feel of the place). I wanted to feel okay about the place because the price was good and the people seemed nice but honestly, I can't in good conscience recommend this hotel.

After reading all the reviews I was skeptical of renting a room. We were pleasantly surprised. Room was large and spacious and beds were very comfortable. Very close to Mystic Village and Aquarium. (A short walk) we will definitely keep hotel in mind next time we are going to Mystic. The price was so cheap that we were wondering what we would find. Only bad thing was our inconsiderate neighbors who let their kids run up and down the hall after midnight. But not the hotels fault

Manager was rude to her employees, told us she was sick and throwing-up all this at check in. Bathroom has a large hole in the ceiling. What looks like black mold. In the morning we found a large black bug in our bed. Housekeeping tried to come in while we were still there. Facility has poor lighting and very run down. Pool area is not safe! Manager at check- out was as rude as when we came in!!! Do Not stay here!!!

Checking in nobody at the hotel there was literally nobody there. There was a sign to call a number which I did do and finally a kid show up to check me in. He was very nice and did a good job. The room had a dirty tub, a broken hair dryer, no toilet paper and a detached toilet seat, the tv has bad reception and a fuzzy picture.

We liked that the property was close to the aquarium and shops and the price per night…We didn’t like the conditions of our room and the building…There were wires sticking out of the wall and no smoke detector…The room was not well maintained…

When we walked in room smelled like kills paint and cleaning disinfectant. We were put in a handicap room where the shower head was only about 5ft 6 inches
Very difficult for my 6"1 husband. The room was very dusty, had 1 outlet to charge phones. Bathroom had unsanded spackle on wall with 1 dim light, batthroom door had rolling
brush marks half painted. Bathroom fixtures in one of drawers. Unsecured door was missing that led into the hallway from outside.

Where to start?
-Outside grounds we’re unkept.
-signs faded
-The windows dirty. Some rooms you could see broken blinds hanging.
-Low lighting in the parking lot.
-Middle entrance door unlocked, all night. a sign said “locked 24 hours, scan your room key for entrance” but the scanner was pulled out of the wall and missing. Unsafe.
Inside
-a broken soda machine, in a dirty hallway with a trash barrel overflowing .
-carpeting in our room stunk like mildew. As if it took on water Or, maybe it was the ac unit, It was hard to tell, because the carpet felt slightly damp. Smelled awful!
We kept our shoes on the whole time we walked around the room.
-The bed had 4 throw pillow size pillows on it. Not even a standard size, literally a small pillow, double wrapped in a pillow case.
-There was only one night stand & one lamp, for the whole room!
-furniture was outdated and in poor condition.
-There was a coffee table in the room up against the wall. don’t know why, there was no couch. We used it for luggage.
-There was only one small 3 drawer dresser for storage. (didn’t bother to unpack).
-there was only 2 outlets in the room.
-There was no telephone (you had to walk down to the front desk for things).
-There was no clock/alarm clock
-no hanging do not disturb plaque for the door
-bathroom tub was old, dirty and in need of re caulking. The shower head was pulled out of the wall. It was just gross.
We checked out as early as we could.

This place was nothing like it is in the picture. It was so dirty I didn't feel safe. The ceiling was falling mold and mildew smell in hallway and check in. In rooms sheers and bathrooms were still dirty from previous customers.

Room was nice and cool, ckean, quiet, yes outdated but the bedding was modern and clean, most important. It looks like its closed when you first drive in, take left and you will see the
lobby. Coffee, juice in lobby.

Hotel looked closed when we got there. Also the inside of the hotel needs major updates, our lamp in the hotel room was hanging by a thread to stay upright. Also the room was very dirty. There was a handprint on the wall that looked like it was feces. The pool room had a leaking roof that went into the pool itself.

The photos on the website were not accurate. There was not a heated nor saltwater pool. Tried to call front desk and see someone over the night and no one answered. Loud yelling and noise till after 3am. At lhchecout no one available or answered phone to assist. Very disappointing for the money .

The property was not well maintained. There was a hole in the bathroom door that was not properly patched. The floor of the tub was dirty. The bed linens yellowed with age and spotty. The bed squeaked at every movement. There were holes in the top of the dresser. The paint on the ceiling was peeling. The front entrance of the hotel was unlocked with no staff on the desk to monitor it.
We ended up leaving and driving back home instead of spending the night.

When we pulled in the parking lot we thought it couldn’t be the right place. The restaurant was the first thing you saw and it was closed down and looked abandoned. We actually pulled out and went up the road to check. The hot water did not work for two days, and housekeeping did not clean or room one of the days we were there. The pool was unusable, it was so dirty and had debris floating in it. I asked for a cup for the coffee in the lobby and the lady behind the counter could not find one. I ended up going to our room to get one.

Bathroom is dangerous very slippery. Front desk staff completely overwhelmed and somewhat strange. Other than that it was great.

Me and my brother stayed there for a night. Room was clean, bathroom was nice and no hair or anything. The only real issue was the pool. The room was so hot and chlorine filled the air we could hardly breath. The water looked like it was poorly maintained, white particles floating all over. Could not see the bottom of the shallow end or any part of the pool, roof leaking into the pool. We sadly declined swimming. But overall hotel was great

Horrible
2.0
The property needs to be fully renovated. It looks like bandaids were put on throughout. Don't attempt to go into the pool. The paint in the pool is peeling and the filter clogs due to it. The roof over pool is leaking from outside, and there are rust pockets along the walls and ceilings of the area. Don't even try to use the sauna. The lights don't work and the area is being used as janitorial storage. Spend the extra money and say elsewhere.

Place needed a little updating. However, the beds were comfortable and room was clean. Staff was friendly. It was so close to everything.
