Excellent location but room in dire need of updating bathroom and TV. Musty smell and damp stains on ceilings. Breakfast Excellent and staff helpfull. Parking nearby but not on site.

Perfect position once reached ! No notice provided saying that anyone driving with luggage could not get near to the hotel. Directions to the nearest car park with info that guests will have to walk in should be made clear. Otherwise a great hotel.

This was a lovely hotel. The room was very clean. Service was good. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. The area was safe and in a spectacular part of the city. Would definitely go there again.

The hotel employees/staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful! The hotel is beautiful although the floor in our room did slope a bit. However if you consider the age of the building it’s a little understandable and it didn’t make our room any less comfortable. We had a full view of the square. The room was a good size and very clean. The hotel buffet breakfast was great with a lot of variety and consistently delicious each morning!
We had carry on luggage only and it was an easy walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located and the surrounding area wonderful to explore!

Even during Covid restrictions this hotel managed a high level of service. Ideally located in beautiful Stanislas Square next to the very interesting Parc de la Pepiniere. Very nice short stay.

Can’t rate pro pas tried to change booking due to Covid and they refused so had to pay but couldn’t stay !

This hotel is in the square, we parked the car a couple of streets away and it was very easy to walk through the old town. The reception staff were helpful and spoke very good English. The room was clean. We declined the €18 breakfast and had a great breakfast in town for €4.

My sort of hotel. Understated elegance.comfortable room. Modern bathroom. Quiet. Nice public areas. Attentive staff. Good restaurant where every help was given to help us get through meal in time for opera. Lovely food, and wine,elegantly presented.
Only sorry I can spend just one night here this time.

First floor room and no elevator. Poorly designed bathroom, showering got the bathroom floor all wet and slippery.

Getting to the hotel was a mess due to construction. Parking is down the street so you have to walk with your luggage. The people at the reception were very helpful. Our friends did not have air conditioning all night in their room.

this 'hotel of the queen' is a grand old lady, she shows her age , could do with a bit of paint or even cosmetic surgery but she still has lots of charm. Rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable. Excellent breakfast (more brunch than breakfast) with view of the most beautiful square in France. Cosy bar

Situated on the wonderful place Stanislas the hotel has a wonderful setting. Clean rooms and bathrooms and good breakfasts but hotel is rather tired and fails to offer room service so let’s itself down. However it is worth these minor disappointments for the glorious location.

Excellent location and very welcoming staff. We came largely to see the 'ecole de Nancy' art nouveau buildings and museums. We were utterly charmed by the Place Stanislaw, its relaxed cafe atmosphere (and temporary Japanese garden). The medieval and renaissance quarters were a bonus, as was the delightfully relaxed city atmosphere and the well-tended public spaces.

The location is superb....in the vibrant heart of the city. The hotel is historic ,with character over contemporary aesthetic. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is the staff that rises the hotel to the top. ratiing. Eveyone was welcoming and helpful A special thanks to Isabelle,who is professional,knowledgeable and caring.

Historical hotel in historical location. I would recommend they change the shower head, small change that will make a big difference. The shower head was so bad that I ended up taking baths my entire stay.

The Grand Hotel is a truely grand experience. The scenic view is timeless but awakens with a modern twist. Great vacation photo shoots.
