We came to watch the Eclipse. Picked this hotel as it was close to downtown. It's an older building but has been kept up. The pool and grounds were clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast...they did have fresh apples and bananas every day.

The property is an older one but the rooms have obviously been updated. Motel style, with doors on the outside of the buildings. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The staff was AMAZING!! The front desk lady, Tina, was soooo helpful and kind! We loved her! We will be staying here next year for Texas 2K at Texas Motorplex

Highly recommend this location! The Front Desk attendant was so welcoming upon check in and the their hotel mascot Shadow is absolutely adorable. The beds are comfy, rooms are clean and their morning breakfast was perfection. The hotel clerk in the breakfast area was so kind, he made my daughter the best tasting Texas waffle ever. He was so courteous and made us feel right at home. The premises is very beautiful and country chic! Plenty of areas to sit back and relax and enjoy nature in their pool and patio areas. Stop by this little gem! It’s close to all the shopping and restaurants. We went for a family funeral and this spot was just what we needed. Thank you so much from McAllen Texas!

We had a great stay at Quality Inn in Ennis. I picked this place due to excellent ratings but was doubtful still. My expectations were blown away! Room was clean and bed was super comfy. Room heater was already on when we got there on a cold weekend in Jan. Great shower and a hot breakfast with fresh gravy and biscuits! We were all impressed. Amazing value for a discount hotel in a small town.

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever enjoyed, adorably. Trina, shadow (a lovely black cat in the lobby) and the rest of the staff were so warm and accommodating!! Breakfast was hot. The bed was incredibly soft. The room was immaculate with wonderful amenities. I can’t recommend this stay enough.

We loved our trip and overnight stay at Quality Inn. The owner was incredibly helpful and kind when my daughter got sick in the middle of the night. I absolutely recommend them just based on the hospitality, but the comfort and cleanliness was superb as well.

The model T truck under the porte cochere is a nice touch, as is the black cat in the lobby. The king sized bed was a comfortable a hotel bed as I've ever slept on. The vinyl flooring was spotless and obviously not hiding anything that carpet usually does. The heater worked spectacurally well and the complimentary breakfast was as good as any we had anywhere. I would definitely stay here again and if it were warmer season, take a dip in the pool or spa.

The outdoor area’s trees by the pool were wrapped with lights giving a welcoming first impression. A very pleasant front desk staffer answered all our questions and represented her hotel very well. The rooms were clean and updated even with an electric lounge chair.
The only negative was that the lobby area was rather doused with the smell of cigarettes.
We will be returning.

The property is well kept. Friendly front desk. Strategic location, close to an urgent care, dining chains and close to texas motorway too. If you must stay a night I Ennis, this is the best place to be.

Staff is amazing, very courteous and accommodating. My family and friends all stay at this hotel many times a year because it is close to the 2 best drag strips in texas. With secure parking for trailers, it is a no brainer to eliminate the worry of someone stealing my racing operation!!
