This place is HORRIBLE!! I arrives from out of town to handle some family funeral arrangement. When I arrived the night front desk person was exemplary!! It was 3 I’m the morning by the time I got in. I fell asleep in the chair completely exhausted. Only to wake up to BED BUGS!!!I had never seen one before, but had an idea this was probably what it was! I collected 3 of them put em in a plastic bag, and brought them to the front desk and ask for the manager! I tell him i would like a refund ASAP!! This IDIOTsays to me” how do I know you didn’t bring em from home!!” …. I was in shock!!! Just don’t go to Kelso red lion!!

First room had bed bugs, so they gave me another room and the shower didnt work, at that point i left the hotel and went andnstayed at another establishment

It is dated, for sure. Bed was comfortable, but was a little dirty. Not enough to make a fuss about, but could tell it wasn't as clean as it could be. The bar and grill was closed which I thought was interesting since it was a Saturday night. Would have been nice to have that option.

We had to change rooms after we unloaded because of mold my mom 83 and I am didable my son had to come help me then the lights and phone didn’t work in that room and was dirty with moldy shower behind toilet dirty the water spicer in shower was filthy we were really upset surprise we didn’t even eat breakfast cause scared of filthenes

This stay was actually very disappointing. We were traveling with our three teenage daughters and specifically booked a room that sleeps five, assuming we would have two beds and a couch. Our first room only one lightbulb worked, and it had a gross smell to it so we asked to switch, the second room they gave us only had two lightbulbs that worked and nowhere for our third teen to sleep so we had to rent a bed for an additional $20 charge. The bathroom was not very clean. There was what looked like blood on the wall and the photo frame, mildew on the shower curtain, there was only one thing of soap in the whole room. It was very disappointing. The hot tub was broken. A trash bag taped on the smoke alarm?? I usually prefer to stay at red lion and I was shocked because this one felt like a motel six and honestly wish I would’ve just spent my money at the motel six for half the price.

Hotel was warn down, dirty and in disrepair. We were not comfortable staying there and will not stay at another Red Lion.
Front desk person was friendly and helpful in tracking down an iron.

First room was dingy old 70's leftover style with door not able to shut and must be the original. Trim looked like it too had never been updated, including the drapes and windows that were stained and unable to close. People had clear view into my room through the corroded metal framed window. I used the toilet and it overflowed when I flushed and that was just pee. They moved me to another room and by now I was really tired from a long day driving. I sat on the bed and set my food in a pile of clear sticky goo on the night stand. Too tired to move again or leave to another hotel, I just went to sleep. I deserve a full refund but don't know how the hassle of it would be dealt with. Is it a waste of my time? The app would not let me upload a photo. You tell me.

The carpet and chair were stained. The ironing board wasn't in the room. The television was in a position which could only be viewed if you were on the bed (I had to listen to movies). There was a chair in the shower, and all the additional accessibility bars made it hard to turn the hot water on (i didn't shower). Breakfast was very minimal. I showed up to breakfast at 7, and it was almost all gone. The staff was great.

Dirty smells terrible.
Pretty sure there's blooded stains in the rooms ( on the walls and ceilings, and curtains.)
Looked like poop and blood on a bathroom chair for disabled people.
Rooms smelt like an old bar with cigarette smoke. The refrigerators smelt like death. Pillows are definitely OLD. I want my MONEY back.

We had a large group staying at this hotel over the weekend and we had hoped for the bar to be open but no bartender showed up! Not recommended for large groups

The first room we were placed in the toilet leaked all over the floor. They are not accommodating to putting us or helping us into another room that evening. We had to move our own things to another room above on the second floor. There was no elevator, and the second room we were placed in was moldy and dirty Floors were not vacuumed and the toilet and shower both had mold in them. Would never stay there again.

This hotel shouldn’t even be open. It felt like a scary hotel from a horror movie. Disgusting carpet, dirty shower curtains, stale smell, filthy hallways. I couldn’t wait to get out of there the next morning!

The hotel was okay. The gal at check in was friendly. The hotel is not super clean; dusty and run down, with sticky carpet. However, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

I had ppl next rm over playing loud music slamming there door in an out all nite then thdy had ppl sittin in cars waiting when i go to look out window they were creepy all hrs of nite it was a bad experience

Thebproperty is older, but maintained well. Sadly, we went to the "restaurant" which was the bar, sat there for almost 10 minutes and NO ONE ever came... so we left to go have dinner else where. So, service is lacking...

It was a great stay except for the fact that the hotel charged me twice.

Room had no heat. Bed had no blanket. I slept with 2 jackets on. Floor was so cold i couldn't take my shoes off. No hot water.

Booked a queen they gave me an accessible queen which was nice but the bathroom ceiling has gross stains and debris on it the heater was loud and blew a lot of dust and there were barely any outlets available to charge anything

Lobby is beautifully cleaned and kept. Hallways to rooms smelled of air freshner.. and not a great one. Room looked decent. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was not clean. Hair all over the floor, and tub had mildew in the corners. Heater did not heat the room at all, but blew air constantly.
Front desk person was nice. Housekeeping started knocking on the door at 830am, and kept knocking every 15 minutes until I left, even tho checkout is not until 11 or 12.

This hotel is in horrible condition. Our room was dirty, hole in the wall, carpet had stains everywhere and one bed had dirty sheets!! The toilet looked like it had t been cleaned in weeks.

The Hotel has a Oder to it on entrance that gets worse as you venture into the hallways but even worse when we entered the room which had a hard smell of urine and mildew, making it impossible to breathe fresh air till exiting the property.
We asked for a room change and the person working there was compliant but the next room was the same as expected, so… they said they would not charge for the stay and gave me a receipt showing nothing charged or paid but I was charged to my card anyways after leaving.

My granddaughter and her bridesmaids stayed in connecting rooms. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
The bride and other young ladies enjoyed their at the Red Lion very much.

The staff at the property are very friendly. The lady that cooked breakfast most days we were there was amazing! However they need to heat the breakfast area and or the kitchen better as the meat and eggs would go cold the second you plate them from the hot hold.

This was the worst places I have ever stayed at.
I made my reservation here because thy told me there hot tub was working.
I called a couple times before showing up to make sure it was still working.
Even when I got there was told hot tub was working.
Got in hot tub water was ice cold.
Was told the next day it has been down for about a month.
Room was not very clean.
My bed sheets had red stains on it.
Thy served expired milk at breakfast bar.
Was expired on November 17th and it was November 26th.
If not for my family being with me I would have just stayed in my car witch would have been better ten this place

Hotel was old, but fine just for sleeping. Keycards didn't work so couldnt leave room without proping door open.

The lobby and lobby staff were welcoming. The room was not very clean. There was a sticky beverage that had been spilled all over the end table and hadn’t been washed. There was a plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector. The bathroom mirror had been wiped down, but not well. It was cloudy like the wrong cleaner had been used. The shower curtain was stained.

My original was a King bed. They said they could not get the hot water working and upgraded me to a room with two Queen beds. How is this an upgrade? The overall condition of the hotel was worn out. The bed was outdated, the white towels grey and the two chairs in the room were child size. The coffee for the free breakfast was cold, few condiments and mediocre food. The heater in the room was not adjustable and it was cold the entire stay. Shut down, remodel and re-open. The layout is decent, the rooms are big and the location works.

The toilet base leaked all over the floor and poo smelling water was all over. I had to put towels down after I stepped in the nasty mess. So we got to smell that all morning.
Shower head was comedically low and we had to crouch to use it.
We didn't pay very much to stay here, and it's not exactly a destination for travel. So I guess we got what we paid for.
Staff was friendly enough. No complaints there.

The bathroom sink was plugged, the shower never got hot, the carpet needed replaced, no coffee pot in the room. I have paid less for better.

We arrived around 9:30 pm. The lady that checked us in was very nice and informative. Upon entering the room, the carpet appeared to be dirty and stained. The door dead bolt didn't lock all the way. The pillows had hair on some of them. But just thought it was stuck on the pillow from the dryer. Upon waking up, there was a couple of small bugs on the comforter. I googled and found that they were bed bugs. We had an issue with the toilet over flowing after flushing it. We called the front desk to have someone come to our room. The lady came and handed us a plunger and told us to turn the water off to the toilet. We asked her if she had some extra towels to wipe the water up with and her reply was that she wasn't maintenance and that maintenance wasn't there. We also explained that we had found bed bugs and she said, you didn't check for them when you got into the room. We are appalled at her answer. At check-out, she said that we would have to contact expedia to request a refund and that expedia would let the hotel know. It is obvious they are not customer service orientated.
