No tissues and ran out of toilet paper. No cups for coffee in room. Trash in hallways in big bags and boxes.
There was no network telephone. No Today show today!
Room clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay in Grayling, my room led right out to the hot tub and pool area which was nice

Tv didnt work, asked for more towels because we only had 2 (for a family of 5) reluctantly was given one extra towel. Pool area was chaos with screaming and yelling until 1:30 in the morning. That made for really great sleeping conditions for a family with young children.

Water on the floor in the bathroom, looked like it was leaking from the toilet.

First we had to wait for a while before anyone came to the front desk to check us in; those poor girls work the shift all by themselves. She then told us the bar and restaurant were no longer open bc they had to let the bartender go. Guests were waiting in their wet bathing suits to get pool towels from the front desk bc there were none in the pool area. Our room, especially the bathroom, was gross. Peeling paint, leaking sink, and grody. They have not updated or renovated since the 70's, at least that is what it looked like. Don't plug your phone into the power strip behind the night stand; you will see years worth of filth and garbage. The ping-pong table in the pool atrium looks like it's something picked out of the garbage, with big chunks of particle board missing from it. Weekend included breakfast is from 6am to 9am, so there will be no sleeping in for guests. Our visit ended with the fire alarm going off, repeatedly, beginning at 9 a.m. We could not get out of there fast enough! The pool opens at 9am and supposedly closes at 10 pm but the screaming children were all out there by 8:30 am yelling at the top of their lungs waking up the entire hotel. Evidently this was fine with the hotel staff who did nothing. This place has great potential with the big indoor pool and play area, restaurant/bar space, and convenient location right off the freeway, but has been left to fall apart for many years, it's sad. Very disappointing experience.

We booked this hotel because it had a bar. When we checked in they said it was closed because they let their bartender go. The property was run down and desperately needs updating. I would not stay there again.

The staff where not friendly and argumentative when I informed them that I was not informed of a hold on my credit card during booking I was informed after my stay was paid in full giving me no ability to stay somewhere else without losing money

The property was fine. Some areas were dark. The breakfast was poor to say the least. Much less items than a year ago. I would not recommend stay at this Ramada Inn.

This was a very outdated location. Looked like it was maybe some type of old mall or something. Has a ton of potential if someone put some money into it but it was very dirty throughout the entire facility, wiring hanging out of the ceiling. The rooms were not clean. Ours had vegetation growing out of the floor. The pool area was very large but we could quickly tell it was not very clean. The next day there was still stuff on the floor from the previous day. We were very disappointed with the hotel.

The hotel is over 40years old and needs some tender loving care. House keeping was unavailable at times even with request made in advance. Breakfast was not always available during the week due few quest staying at hotel.

Dirty. Run down. Sat on bed and it flipped off the frame onto the floor. Found a bug on the other bed. We left within 5 minutes of check in.

We usually stay here so it pains me to day this, but we took our young children up to get away for the night and swim in the pool. The pool was FREEZING COLD. And the hot tub was filthy and smelled gross. The room was also filthy. We also booked a pool view hotel room and could barely see a corner of the pool though many, many rooms were empty. We ended up driving back home and not staying overnight.

Mold on wall above heater, windows lost seal allowing water to enter room and upon entering room we noticed towel had been placed atop the heater to catch the dripping water and it was very wet. No hot breakfast.

Had to cancel. Absolutely no Grace from Expedia or Hotel Management. Won’t be using the brand again and I will be discouraging everyone I know from using it as well. Do better

No hot water. The place was very run down. Bar was not open even though they said it would be when I checked in. Poor breakfast poor bedding. TV didn’t work.

Extremely dated property and it is apparent in the bathrooms especially. Looks basically the same as when I stayed there as a kid - 25 years ago.

It was a fine stay but the tv was broken and they said spectrum was working on it but I did not see one worker trying to fix it and i was there for two days. So they basically were lying too me and my family. Also they had no commodity items like shaving cream or toothpaste, toothbrush. And every other hotel ive ever stayed at had those kind of items for guests.

The hotel was dirty and no longer maintained. Pool area was bad, carpet was filthy, cable didn’t work, heater didn’t work right, dirty underwear was behind dresser and garbage.

Room service ladies were awesome, the overall experience is the room stayed damp all the time, no working ventilation in the bathroom and black mold in the bathroom, the shower curtain is made out of material and the water comes through it and soaks the floor and toilet, the tile floors stay damp at all times. The bed sheets are too small for the bed and constantly coming off, you can hear kids playing in the courtyard from your room at 8:00 am, don’t expect to sleep in. I would not recommend staying at this Hotel, not worth the money.

We got a poolside room, which was clean.
The “dome” which is where the pool area is, was cold. Which made getting out the pool kinda suck.
The pool was heated, but very cloudy. The hot tub was nice, the jets weren’t that strong, the kiddy pool was nice because of my smallest child.
The arcade was okay, my kids had fun. They also did like the indoor playground.
The breakfast was very limited. They did have sausage links and eggs, which were surprisingly good. The orange juice spat out water. I went to make my daughter cereal and I always smell milk before using, which I’m glad I did, because all 3 glass jars had spoiled milk. And even though a worker changed it out, I didn’t trust the jars being cleaned throughly.
They do have a snack section at the front desk to buy from. Which was convenient.
The bar is only open on Friday & Saturday which sucks because we stayed during the week as well. But the bartender made a pretty good mixed drink.
There was a women there burning incense, which made the dome smell disgusting. It gave me a stomachache & a migraine. We ended up calling it a night.
In conclusion, it’s a Ramada. There is nothing special about it.

Could be a great set up if they cleaned and fixed it up some.

We only stayed one night but it was still good. The bed was really comfortable. I've stayed here before so I knew what to expect. It could use a little cosmetic updating (painting & carpeting) but I will continue to stay here when we're in the area again.

The pictures they use for the ad are clearly very old! We pulled in and I honestly thought it was closed. There was no cars, a for lease sign, dark and the ad picture is way different than it looks. Obviously an old picture of better times. Rooms were missing windows, we had mold spot on the wall and the ac/heat was leaking on the floor. I left my daughter’s shoes (her only nice enough to wear to school shoes) and the guy told me nothing was left behind.

Not sure how this property received anything greater than a 4 out of 10 review? Hallways smelled of bleach. Carpet is old and dingy. TV did not work, couldn’t even turn on. Why there is a remote available, worthless? Half the lights work. Stain on toilet that I cleaned myself.

The only thing that was good about this stay was the front desk personnel, he was prompt with his greeting and was clearly way to busy for one person, even while extremely over tasked he kept a friendly and cordial attitude. That is where the good service stopped. After going up to our room, our room key failed to work so we went back down to the desk where he apologized and got us a new room key. Then after entering our room, at first glance the room appeared clean. However we could not locate a remote for the T.V. so we looked behind the dressers, bedside tables and desk, in doing so we noticed a ton of trash behind them all, balls of hair behind the bedside tables and still no remote to be seen. After still being unable to locate the remote we called the desk and told him, he said he'd be right up, 20 minutes later we had yet to hear from him so I returned to the desk and got the remote, that still did not work so he brought another one up that also did not work. He had me download the Roku remote app on my phone to control the T.V. which made you watch a 30 second add to even turn the T.V. volume up or down. We just went to bed. Woke up at 8 and went to breakfast where we found another hotel staff running around over tasked and the dining area was destroyed. She was doing everything she could but could not keep up. We chose to leave for breakfast. When leaving there were multiple overflowing trash cans in the parking lot next to my car with caution tape around them.

The room was very clean, check in staff very friendly. The halls/grounds were dirty, however. Just needed a room on a stop during a road trip, it fit the bill just fine.

I and Expedia tried contacting the property and was never able to reach over phone. During check in there was no one in front desk and people waited for 30 mins to check in. This happened even the next day. Food was aweful, spoiled and fungus on bagels.

I felt bad for the guy checking me in. He was alone, it was so busy. He was amazing but they need more staff. The pool was kinda gross. Lots of hair globs all over. Kids totally unattended! There were kids running soaking wet on the threadmills. The workout location was soaked. The hot tub had kids using it as a pool. Our room smelled of marijuana at night. It was ok for a night.

This location was horrible. The heat in the room failed during our stay and the phone did not work to call the front desk. Went to the front desk and they said we could move to to room next door. The heat worked. But room was dirty (dust on carpet around the baseboards) carpet around the outside wall was very wet. Doors and walls need painted as they were very dirty. Asked the front desk clerk for a discount and was told the best they could do is move us. This was very unacceptable. But it was late and we needed to sleep to continue our journey. Most of the hotels we have rented through Hotels.com are MUCH better than this one.

The room smelled like a wet dog. It was relatively clean and the sheets were clean smelling but the whole room smelled terrible.

The bathroom smelled bad , the mattress were in very poor condition. however the people at the check in were very nice. Also the couch was in very bad condition

The outside doors did not lock. The stairway and hallways were dirty. This hotel gave the feeling of being neglected. I would not stay there again. The only positive thing was the room itself was very clean. That’s why I gave it three stars and not two.

We were originally given keys to a room that was already occupied. Outside door did not lock. Construction area not well-contained.

staff was competent and friendly.
