This was my second time staying at Silverbow and I was less impressed than the first time. My room was in the older building and it was clearly outdated. Not horrible, just outdated. The queen rooms are extremely small, so don't book if you want to hangout in your room a lot. However, I was out working most of my trip so the size wasn't an issue. Even though the rooms are small, you cannot skip out on the amazing roof top hot tubs. Silverbow has thought of everything from robes, flip flops, and even umbrella hats.

Loved it here. Wish I stayed in Juneau for the week to stay in this space. No elevator so pack accordingly. I didn't.

By far, the best and most unique hotel in all of Alaska!

The Hotel is a great place for business or tourist travelers. The thing that was great is they ( Misty)
Made me feel like I was at home! The Internet worked fine. I only did not like the TV system as I missed my favorite thing News! But your not supposed to watch tv on trips!

Great boutique hotel in a very convenient location within 3 blocks of many restaurants, shops and the waterfront. We enjoyed the roof top hot tub on a rainy afternoon. Only drawback: Creaky floors in an older building mean that you may hear your fellow guests moving about.

Loved the setup in the hotel. The rooftop area was wonderful.

This is one of Juneau's better hotels, just two blocks from our Uncruise dock. The manager is lovely and it's very neat and clean and tasteful. As well it should be for $500 a night! A bit noisy at night, a bit muggy in Juneau's heat wave.

My grandson ended up with emergency surgery during our 4 day stay in Juneau before leaving on a cruise .
Tina and her staff could not have been more helpful and supportive, we were moved from the third floor to a ground floor room , the medio were picked up by one of Tina’s co workers on her day of - helped me getting our suitcases downstairs etc .
Tina works non stop with very long days she is an incredible caring person the owners have a winning lottery ticket with her for sure and the staff .
The location is wonderful the rooftop with the hot top fantastic .
Hope to be back in Alaska and will stay at the Silverbow Inn for sure !

The rooms were tiny and had no counter space in the bathroom. Our room did not have an AC unit so we were not able to fully relax because we were not getting good sleep with the room being so hot at night and tight on space. I loved that we didn’t have a room key and had a code to our door. However, our code needed to be reset and there was an envelope clipped to our door with the code to our door on the outside so anyone could have opened it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I tried to call the hotel twice before our stay and found it frustrating that it was someone off site answering the phone and attempting to answer our questions so there was a bit of miscommunication with parking and what not. Overall the stay was okay, the room was very spendy for what little you got. However( the location was amazing !

The staff were awesome! The hot tub on the roof was great after long days of walking and hiking. I would stay there again if we ever get back to Juneau. Thanks for the great hospitality!!

Very friendly staff and comfy room! The fresh cookies were a wonderful surprise!

The hotel is charming and very cute. In the offseason, you can get snacks to eat in the lobby 24/7 (which is helpful since a lot of stuff is closed). All but one room does required climbing a flight of stairs as it is an old building. The staff will help you get stuff up the stairs.

Hotel was not handicap accessible, so I had to check out after the first day. But I was charged for two more days I have a room and unused parking. Very disappointing.

They really make a great effort to make your stay an incredible one!!

The room was smaller than we are used. The TV volume was hard to adjust….figured it was limited to avoid disturbing neighboring rooms. Location is great for local shops, bars, and restaurants. The breakfast was great…plenty of options. For 20-30 somethings, this would probably be great. For us (a bit older) we are used to a little more maneuverability. Room availability in Juneau at the time was very limited so we went with this. I would recommend this hotel for those who are okay with a smaller room.

The Silverbow Inn is in a great location in downtown Juneau. It's clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. However, the room we had was tiny and the bathroom did not even have a cabinet with counter, just a small sink. Also, the walls are very thin and we could hear conversations in the room next door as well as footsteps as people walked down the hallway.

Fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Juneau! We had a terrific time at the Silverbow! The room was comfortable; breakfast was delicious. The views from the hot tub decks were amazing! To top this off, the location was fabulous for walking to restaurants, cafes, breweries, and shops! We will stay here again if they have openings!

This place is fantastic! You totally want to stay here. About as perfect of a boutique hotel as you will ever find in a city like Juneau.

The Silverbow is all about small details...from the comfortable entrance, the great customer service, to all the fun elements of the rooms. Not to mention the rooftop hot tub in the crisp Alaskan winter air. I simply love this place.

No ones fault but bc of covid there wasn't housekeeping and I felt uncomfortable asking for it ... ended up leaving more of a mess than I would have liked to.

Perfectly located in center of town. easy to walk to Asian food across the street that offers lots of variety called Pho Tai. Also up the block is V's cellar door offers Mexican/Korean Fusion sooooo delish! Walked to get breakfast and saw bears. Super hospitable Inn, very clean, great snacks offered all day like granola/yogurt, coffee, apples, and offers parking w personal parking spot out front. Walkable to shops and excursions.Overall, Would def go back again.

I’m a fit and well traveled guy, but maybe they could have offered help from the beginning or warned us that we’d be on the third floor with 44 steps and no elevator to haul the bags up. Besides hiking 7 miles one day, going up and down those stairs four times was a bit much. Staff in general could be more helpful and attentive.

It was a quaint old hotel and kind of pretty. It was close to shops and restaurants. There was parking at the hotel (there was a daily fee for that, but reasonable). There was a nice area on the roof with a hot tub and fire pit, with a beautiful view of Juneau and surrounding area. There was a second hot tub, as well, one floor down.
There was 24-hour access to the communal breakfast area with orange juice, coffee, & snacks always available and access to a community fridge and microwave. A very nice espresso machine there! The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a security code to access the hotel in the evening hours so felt secure there.
Not to like: No elevator and all but one room was on the second or third floor with lots of stairs - not so hot for the elderly companion I was traveling with. They said they would mention this on their website in the future. Also stairs and hallway creak when anyone is using them, since it is all antique wood.
Otherwise, a fine place to stay!

We got an email from the Silverbow about a week prior to our trip to let us know that the room we booked, a king superior room, had been "overbooked" and was no longer available. They offered a queen superior as a replacement at a reduced cost. I wrote back to say how surprised I was, since we had booked back in February for an August stay. The manager wrote back again and said they had managed to free up one of the king superiors, so we were excited to stay there rather than switching hotels last minute. We arrive and found that our King Superior, was on the bottom floor, next to kitchen, behind the bar area, with a view of the alleyway. When we complained to the manager, she again offered the queen room, which we explained we didn't want for the price they were charging. We looked online and found a king bed in nearby hotel, and asked for a refund. She replied it was too late for a refund. In the end, after much argument and showing her the description of the room that I had booked online as compared to what they were providing, which wasn't even close, she agreed to refund the room. I believe what happened is that the Silverbow gave our room to someone who was staying longer, which is really unfair practice, then tried to sell us a far inferior room for the same rate. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the Silverbow.

I loved the fun and friendly feeling. Also liked the opportunity to grab breakfast and feel that I was preparing it myself, eventhough everything was ready.

We had a problem that was not solved to our satisfaction. We ordered the top room selection of Superior King. When we went to view the room, we noticed outside the window was a brown structure. I asked what it was and Amy said a hot tub. She assured us that it closed at 10, was quiet and not too busy. We went into town. When we returned at 6:45, a brunette was less than 4 feet from our window at the end of the bed looking straight at me from the hot tub. It was loud cause you had to talk above the level of the noise of the hot tub. It was honestly unbelievable! I requested another room. It was their queen economy room. The sink was so small you couldn't brush your teeth over it. I ended up just asking for the difference in the room price of $65 a night. We stayed for 4 nights. It was not given. I paid $1600 for 4 nights for a king superior , including fees and taxes, and received very unsatisfactory accommodations of the economy room. They just didn't care. It was a bait and switch. They already had my money. The king room was very small . The breakfast is not hot. Boiled eggs and yogurt on your own time. We love historic inns. I have never in my many years asked for a room change. All the way from Florida to Juneau and having to stay 4 nights cause they already had our money and would not return it! I would reconsider staying here. When I asked to speak to the owner, they said she was not involved in operations. Maybe she should be. Disappointed!!

A cute little eclectic hotel building in the heart of downtown. Lots of little details in the room and during the check-in process really made us feel comfortable. Bonus - there is a rooftop hot tub!!

My father and I were in Juneau for a few days, to care for my critically ill brother. The Silverbow couldn’t have been a better home base. The flexibility of breakfast around our crazy schedule was so helpful, and they even fulfilled my special request for their nightly candy offerings. Wonderful boutique hotel... if you’re in Juneau, stay HERE!
