The Hotel was under renovations and I was notified about by email that the hotel was under construction, which I appreciated, but when I got there the instructions of how to get into the hotel was confusing on first arrival. Overall the room was a great and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. I would stay again because was great and close to a lot of nearby restaurants and shopping centers.

There was construction at this hotel and we were not notified. We had issues parking also. Awful experience and very disappointing. We tried to get money off our room. Hotels.com nor the restaurant would help with that and we were not happy.

Hotel is being renovated and was a complete mess. The parking lot was filled with dumpsters and trucks and not enough parking for cars. Elevators were very slow and not clean. Service was ok but not as good as other Hyatt Hotels I have stayed at.

Loved my stay. Nice and clean rooms. With extra towels and amenities. Great customer service from front desk at all times. Quiet neighborhood,close to a lot of shopping centers. Very convenient for people not familiar with the area. Loved everything about my stay.

Stayed for a week. They had construction going on and everyone usually throws a fit over this.. BUT,... it did not matter.... It was only first floor construction and the awesome front desk girl put me up on the 6th floor (top) Maybe I heard some faint noises here and there but nothing bothersome at all. ALL front desk staff are awesome and deserve a lot of credit for accommodating guests best they can during construction. Housekeeping is awesome, and the construction guys were very nice. Only downside is I really think they should have a microwave in room. I hope after the remolding they do not jack up prices too much because the Holiday Inn across the street is always stupid expensive and its not any nicer than the Hyatt! I always chose this Hyatt when in Smyrna.

Construction and uncleanliness everywhere. Was told at check in that it was only lobby area. Several rooms on my floor were under construction. It was loud, dirty and uncomfortable. I checked in and then left and drove home late after my event rather than stay. The doors to the outside were left open at all stairwells so I felt unsafe as well. This hotel was rated 8.8. It’s not even close. Waste of time and money and felt completely misled.

Generally, it was good, and the bed was super comfortable, and the room was nice. But it said it was recently remodeled, but construction was still happening.

The staff and service was absolutely wonderful, but I was very concerned for a strong amonia smell whenever I turned on the shower. Maintenance should deff give the plumbing a look.

The rooms and the staff were excellent. Unfortunately they were in the middle of remodeling…. A bit noisy early evening but otherwise great.

The rooms are clean and modern. The lobby was undgoing renovations which they were forthcoming and accomodating with a temporary check in point. Nice friendly staff.

Clean hotel. It’s under construction and it was not posted. I booked the hotel with 3 things in mind (restaurant, bar, breakfast) and all 3 were a MAJOR disappointment!!! No restaurant or bar and breakfast was continental! Bathroom SUPER SMALL!!

New remodel not impressive!

Newly renovated hotel that's still going through renovations and construction. I was set up in a new room on the top floor so didn't hear any renovation process. Someone did outline that the AC/Heater on the window allows for more road noise from outside which is true but to some this may be more like white noise. It wasn't bothersome but I can see how some people may be affected. I would stay at this hotel again, the front desk personnel were very friendly and accommodating with drinks/snacks. Internet worked very well and it was free. The only complaint was a slight smell when running hot water, maybe new boiler or had to do with construction - again, not very bothersome but something I noticed as sharing experience in full transparency. Bed, pillows was very comfortable.

Facility is under construction. That's the only issue.

We really enjoyed our trip to this hotel. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Even though construction was occurring, it wasn’t obnoxious or inconvenient in any way. We would return again.

I booked my stay at the Hyatt for a Christmas visit to Atlanta to surprise my Son. The location was convenient and they were rated highly on Expedia so I felt comfortable with my choice. Upon my arrival I realized that the hotel was under renovation and there was construction happening all throughout the facility. It was loud, the one elevator was frequently occupied with construction workers and the air felt polluted by the work being done. Only the 6th floor was available because of the renovations so the elevator was in high demand. In the middle of my stay I had my room changed because the fumes were extremely overwhelming. One day we (me and guests of the hotel) were startled by a blaring fire alarm and we all quickly funneled to the fire exit and down 6 flights of stairs and to the lobby where we were told by a nonchalant front desk associate “oh it’s a false alarm, because of the construction”. We weren’t offered any apologies for the inconvenience so we were all obviously frustrated. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a calm, peaceful stay, you won’t get it here. Unit the construction is completed this place is better suited for someone who only needs a place to house their bags.

Has a wired and bad smell.

This property was perfect after being forced to find another stay on short notice after an issue with a previous hotel. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The breakfast was great although earlier than most, the room was clean and set up nicely. I’ll keep in mind for the future.

Large rooms

I was given a room without running water and the staff would not change my room without management approval, which had left for the night. Had to brush my teeth in the lobby bathroom.

The check in staff was very nice & accommodating. The bed was soft and provided a good night sleep

This is the first hotel, I’ve stayed at and have come across roaches in the hotel room. We saw one scurry across our tv, and found another in my purse that was sitting on the couch! Be very careful here, you may bring home unwanted critters.

The door was locked when I arrived, I’m sure that’s against Fire Code. It was freezing outside. The front clerk was confrontational and rude when I asked why. I left and went to the Hotel next door. They were very polite and I enjoyed my stay. I was still charged for my 3 night stay. I will never stay at this place again!
