The facility needs more brightness in hallway to rooms, updated your room cause they don’t look like photos online. Also they need a security guard and camera on duty 24/7 365 , I really didn’t feel safe at all. I feel I should receive a refund or discount on future trip or reservation in the future. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your hotel but please update this facility asap.

My fiancée and I came to Chicago for MagicCon2024. We stayed 2 nights. This particular hotel checked all the boxes for me. Decent pricing, on site parking, in room kitchen, all my basic needs were met. The room could have been a little more well kept but with lower prices and older /high traveled establishments like this, I was not expecting a spotless palace. The staff was very friendly and informative.
The disittance from mccormick place isn't too bad but the traffic was a headache to and from downtown. We enjoyed our stay overall and recommend for those on a budget.

Room had odor, like smell of men’s cologne and cigarettes. Bed sheets were thin paper. Room itself was ugly and dirty looking.

I would discourage anyone from staying here if at all possible. First, when I had booked the place, there was mention that there was a shuttle to MDW airport. There is not. The whole hotel is dated and barely cleaned. Upon getting to my room, I found rust in the kitchen sink, the whole room was dated with what appeared to be barely functional appliances. The bathroom was clean-ish. The carpet was absolutely filthy and looked to not have been cleaned in years. It definitely hadn't been more than barely vacuumed since the last tenant. Behind the chair in the room and by the bed I found pieces of trash from previous guests laying on the floor. Gross. The extra security latch on the door didn't appear to be fully functional so I wedged a chair under the door after locking it because I did not feel safe at all. I don't get scared easily and am a pretty tough person. Never have I ever felt so insecure at a place that I needed to wedge something under the door for my safety. The bed was fine. The sheets appeared clean and I did a thorough inspection of the bed before getting in it. I did not walk on the floor barefoot as there were stains and other people's garbage so I didn't know what else. There were holes in the wall behind the chair that appeared to be poorly patched bullet holes. It was barely acceptable for one night - I certainly would not recommend any extended stay here.

The bathroom smelt like cigarette smoke, no ice machine, and the breakfast was minimal, but overall dandy and a fine deal. 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, safe, and free parking. It’s what we needed!

Breakfast needs improvement. Fruits need to be added. Toast and bakery items can be added easily. Yogurt should be added.
Carpets need to be cleaned.

Lots of time when you go to a hotel and you felt the room is not cleaned but you have no proof. This room is so visible on the dirtiness. There are pets' hair on the chair. The vinyl floor in the bathroom and kitchen are sticky. The room has no paper cups, no shampoo, no cloth hanger, no coffee maker. the front desk lady is super nice and I got all above, but annoying that you have to make extra trips while elevator is down. The heater and bathroom fan made very loud noise that hurts your ears.

Across from a Costco it’s great if you have a Costco card and an appetite. No can openers or dishes in your room. When you get there you are told to take out your own garbage and bring your linens to the front desk if you want clean ones. Not what I’m used to in a hotel. The rooms are quiet and I was not disturbed. The breakfast consists of coffee, oatmeal and granola bars again not what I was use to especially for the price.

I was not a fan of the room. The first room looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned so I talked to the front desk and they switched the room. Second room was much better and you could tell it had been cleaned because it smelled fresh.

Hotel doesn’t look like the photos online. When we checked in, the lobby smelled like weed. Hotel is very outdated. Bed is so uncomfortable, no thick blankets, Ac/heater unit keeps turning off and on. Bathroom has mildew and needs some serious remodeling Carpets looks like it hasn’t been cleaned. I got itchy in the middle of the night and couldn’t sleep. Good thing we only stayed here overnight because I felt so uncomfortable. I wouldn’t be staying here again.

The smell
2.0
The staff was nice but the room smelt really bad of mildew or mold. My boyfriend and I had to go out and buy air freshener so we could actually sleep since stunk so bad. They dont even have hand soap in the room so we had to buy that also. The floor when first walk into room by the kitchen was dirty didn't look like was swept in days. There was nail polish on the bathroom floor by the toilet and bloody booger on the door frame by the bathroom light switch. The filiter for the heater was caked in dust. My boyfriend tried to turn heater on but smell was like burnt hair making him throw up on himself. The bed was also really hard and uncomfortable making the 3 night stay kinda hard to sleep along with the room being next to Costco shipping and receiving area hearing trucks backup all night. Our room was on the 2nd floor.

The frontvdesk clerk on 100923 was helpful and professional. Checking in was quick and painless. We were traveling from Oregon and was very tired but he helped 2 weary travelers. Thankyou

The room smelled like smoke as soon as I walked in. I bought Lysol and sprayed every soft surface including the floor. I can tell the room for the most part was clean, but there were some major misses on making sure it was standard clean. I found a nasty sock between the nightstand and bed. Stains all over the floor. Just kept in mind I wasn’t going to be in the room a lot and used it primarily for sleep and showering.
Probably won’t stay here again for a length of time. Maybe 1 night and that’s it.

It was an amazing time of rest and relaxation for me and I would do it again.Whenever I get another chance to do it.

Not worth for breakfast . No proper support rooms are little smelling and old. I prefer not for staying more than 2 days for shorter stay with price less than 80 bucks worth

Likely great for those staying long term and need a discounted place. Not quite the mattress comfort and quiet you’re looking for a one-night layover. There were street racers outside our window all night on a Saturday.
