We had a very nice visit to Victoria. The hotel's location is perfect to walk to all of the downtown and inner-harbor sights.

Perfect location for a getaway in Victoria. Right next door to the museum, across the street from Beacon Hill Park, and a block away from parliament. 10 minute stroll down to the seawall and then up to the wonderful shops. Loved that it had a full kitchen, too! Will definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this property a number of times over the years. It's an older building but they have continued to update over the years. We stay here for the full kitchen and the proximity to everything we like to do in Victoria. It's great walkable area, we park the car and don't need it until checkout time. Being an older building you will hear noise from the neighbours and it is in the city so there will be some traffic noise. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

First of it’s a very cute place. My gf and I booked a studio king bed. I had no idea it has a full kitchen. That was absolutely a bonus. The room was clean and very spacious with an extra pull out bed. We could not believe how big this room is and how cheap it is. Our only negative thing is there was a pungent smell but we opened the windows and that fixed the problem. It’s very close to the harbour and very convenient to catch the bus to the ferry. The bus comes right in front of the Inn. The staff were all nice and very friendly. They also let us check in earlier than our check in time. Overall we were absolutely happy with everything. We wished we could stay for two nights. We are considering coming back here. I would absolutely recommend this place if you want to save money 🙌💯

I was so impressed with the clerk upon arrival he accommodated us so well. The room my mom was booked into had a bed that was too high for her to safely get in and out of. The clerk went above and beyond to help us find a solution. Very much appreciated. The overall stay was fantastic I will be back.

This is my second stay at this marvellous hotel! It is so central to all the major sites that one would want to visit plus it is within walking distance to them. Having a fully stocked kitchen to save money on meals is a dream. Our bed & pillows were so comfortable it was difficult to leave, sometimes! I loved the ginormous flat screen tvs in both the living room & bedroom! The room is like an apt. or condo. It is luxuriously appointed, as well. There is a $10 per day parking fee but that is a steal. The management & cleaning staff are very attentive. Depending upon which building you choose , some rooms are accessed by stairs while others are not. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Victoria. 👍

This was my first time visiting Victoria and we loved our stay at Helms Inn. The location was amazing. It is right next to Beacon Hill Park and The Museum. The room was clean and we loved the kitchenette as we prepared our meals couple of times. The only negative side is that they might be understaffed. I called front desk multiple times but no one picked up the phone. Me and few more people were waiting for someone to talk to from hotel but no one was available. We waited in front of the front desk for more than 30 minutes and no one was available. One day they did not clean our room even though we requested multiple times. Other than that it’s an amazing place to stay whole visiting Victoria.

Room had a weird layout, sofa bed looked like it previously had 1000 naked bums on it. Nice enough if you just need a place to sleep, but no curb appeal at all & certainly not fancy. I'll go elsewhere next time.

This place took me by shock. I was skeptical that it will be old and stinky. But the rooms and corridors were fully renovated. Extremely clean and maintained impeccably.

I always enjoy the Helms inn It is right downtown close to everything the price is great and I love the recent reno's. They allowed us early check in with no Fee and the 11am check out time was very nice.

What a great place to stay. Super friendly staff, great rooms and unbelievably clean. You are literally moments away from everything in this great, walkable city. Safe and secure across from Beacon Hill park just steps from the harbour. This small Inn operates like the bigger ones should but never seem to.
