My fiancé and I have always stayed at the intercontinental hotel in Monterey. We returned as newly weds and the staff were amazing during our stay. All the amenities are beautiful.

Right on the beach. Just a 2-3 min walk to the aquarium. The room was very clean and you can’t hear anyone else when you’re in your room. Only complaint was that the bed was a little too firm.

This hotel is wonderful. Right next to the aquarium on cannery row. The restaurant on-site is expensive but delicious and very accommodating for kids. We will definitely stay here again!

The only negative about this hotle was the king bed which, was very saggy and unconfortable. I couldn't sleep that night. :(

This property thought it was more important to steal my money rather than refund a 1 night stay when travel became impossible. A massive storm in the area prevented all travel and this hotel would not cancel and refund my stay. They are thieves.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating for an earlier check-in. Room was clean and very warm and welcoming. Kids absolutely loved having the fireplace, it was a first for them. Thank you for making our mini getaway so relaxing and enjoyable!! Will be back again!!

We needed a much needed break and we thought this hotel would do it for my family due to the location and being so close to the aquarium. Once we arrived, the staff upgraded my room (due to being an IHG member) and gave me all my essentials that I would need during my stay. They were extremely personable and friendly. Throughout my stay they assured that everything was going as planned. The location of this hotel cannot be beat, you are steps from the aquarium, restaurants and shops. The three days that I was there we hardly used our vehicle because of how great the location is. When I go back, I will be staying here again. Truly a wonderful experience and not one bad thing to say about this hotel and their staff.

For the price I thought it would be a much nicer room. $400 bucks for a night in a room that looks exactly the same of a Holiday Inn, but without breakfast and they don’t even have a microwave in the room. You’re just paying for the location. Not worth it. Plus $45 parking…

We stayed here to go to the Monterey Bay Aquariam, it just a block away, super convenient. Food at C Restaurant downtairs was solid, will come back for sure. Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed staying at the InterContinental Clement Monterey for a couple of nights. The room was spacious and comfortable, the gym was decent and the hot tub was great. My only complaint is that the best restaurants weren't nearby. The restaurants nearby are mainly generic, touristy seafood ones - not bad but not good either. So, the hotel was great but the location was just ok.

The hotel was wonderful. Had an ocean front room...Amazing! Much more than expected. Two fire places, two bathrooms, a deep soaking tub in the bedroom, the balcony and view, im speechless. And the staff, everyone was so nice and accommodating. My wife and i had an Awesome stay here.

Beautiful place right on the beach, within walking distance to the aquarium, restaurants and shops. Instead of two queens like most places it was double size bed. And they weren’t the most comfortable. But very nice friendly staff.

The hotel is lovely and in perfect condition, very luxurious feel. Excellent staff and service. We stay here on a regular basis, and one area for them to improve is to deliver a breakfast plate that’s warm, with warm or hot food on the plate. It’s an ongoing problem here that toast is cold, potatoes are cold, the plate is cold, everything is lukewarm or cold. It’s typically overcast and chilly in Monterey in the mornings, and a plate of cold eggs and toast and potatoes and bacon is kind of a sad way to start a grey cold chilly day on the waterfront. Will somebody get the message to the manager to buy a plate warmer or double up on the heat lamps or something?
