Front desk was not friendly. Our room was hard to find and up an extra flight of steps. Pool was dirty, clumps of hair found around the pool and inside.

The suite was well worth the $.

The hotel was amazing! The queen suite with the balcony was beautiful. I would definitely recommend to others!

Once we arrived, Check in or parking wasn't clear. It did not seem there was a way to bring your bags up from the ground floor to the lobby without already having a hotel key.
Once we were in the room, We immediately noticed a very intense cooked food smell. The room was supposed to have a set of four cutlery and dishes. There was one fork. I used one frying pan to warm up food and it was dirty. There was glitter in the hallway in the bathroom and in the shower.
Both nights we were woken up by fighting at 1:30am (night 1) & someones alarm clock going off for about 15mins at 5am. The bed needs a new mattress. The extra bedding wasnt sufficient. Front desk wasnt available via phone after 8pm.
Coffee amenities such as creamer packs were the worst. A literal waste of money.

Location is convenient-- downtown and next to the river, and the building itself is nice enough. The rooms are clean, and there is an indoor pool that seemed a hit with the children staying at the hotel.
The poor review stems from the lack of soundproofing and the bed (probably the worst bed I've slept on in any hotel). The continental breakfast is also an afterthought; I may have been happier with just a promise of coffee. The television also had terrible picture quality.
Writing this review to warn others who read these as I took the overall rating at face value.

We loved the vintage decor in the hotel and the suites were very spacious. Our queen bed was not comfortable; it felt very springy and needed an upgrade. Our shower had hot water only for a minute then went freezing cold, then hot again for a minute and back to freezing cold. It was not great at all. The TV remote was difficult to use and the breakfast area was cleaned out by 7:45 in the morning. The location was great for close access to crayola experience. My girls enjoyed the indoor pool.

We had such a wonderful stay and was the perfect hotel for our family to stay at.

No early check in which is a huge drawback given the 4 PM check in time. Room was nice, new, but the heat ducts were only in 1 room. Seems like such a simple engineering flaw to fix. The pool was the highlight.

My favorite property to stay at. The heated salt water pool is my favorite as well as the spacious rooms. Sharon is also great, never unpleasant when I encounter her

This hotel has a very unique and vintage appeal. We felt like we had stepped back in time. We intend to make this a regular stop on our yearly trip through this area.

Easy check in and friendly staff. However, the free breakfast isnlackluster and there was mold shooting out of the jet tub when first turned on. Not very clean.

The suite was very spacious, however it was very cold and the best feature, the fireplace, did not work!! I had to turn on the oven and leave the oven door open to warm up the room!..

We have one night to stay in easton. And the room is full of roaches we left about 4 hours of the check it. Room 1003 was disgusting. They're staying in the carpet and it looked like I hadn't even been cleaned

Beautiful hotel with unique cozy rooms! Altho I was expecting a bigger/better breakfast than what they had it was still good.

2nd stay here in three weeks time. We were so impressed, we came back with additional family to enjoy the North Eastern charm of Pennsylvania. Staff excellent. Clean and comfy rooms. Quiet and secure. Good rates. Found out a bit about the history of the Grand Eastonian Hotel, and did not know that the property is committed to sustainability of our environment and it’s resources. It would too much space here to explain, but research the owners and it’s story of the property online. Very interesting and admirable venture. Also the Hotel has had many famous guests; Payton Manning, Ringo Starr’s band, Johnny Mathis, Elenor Roosevelt, Jack Dempsey to name a few. I always try to patronize old Historic Hotels so that they will stay vital and continue to grace us with their history and elegance. So much to learn from the past. It’s just too sad when old historic structures are leveled and gone forever. I’m so happy that the Grand Estonian Hotel is still here to tell her story.

Quick visit to Easton to see a theater performance at Lafayette and connect with some former classmates. The hotel is right downtown in close proximity to Buck Hall, where the theater is housed. Very walkable to restaurants, shops, the Crayola Factory, etc. The building is apparently half-hotel, half-condo. My room was massive; it had two queen sized beds that were each in a separate room. The back room also had a pullout couch, and there was a pocket door that could be closed between the rooms if need be. I was alone, so none of this was necessary, but it would have been perfect if I’d been traveling with a friend or two. Bed was quite comfortable, bathroom was more than adequate, and the room had a mini fridge. Great value as well. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!

I was a bit disappointed in the room
We received. It was stairs access only, with having young children it was a bit difficult getting up and down. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, they probably could use a bigger dining area with as many guests as they have, it became crowded.

The clerks at the front desk were polite and nice. The building looked clean inside and well kept. My room was neat and clean, I had no issues at all.

The hotel was nice, however, at around 1am an alarm kept ringing saying “Intruder”. Obviously mini panic attack so we called the front desk and all they kept saying that it will stop ringing , that apparently it goes off whenever they do deliveries for the hotel at night. It took them over 10 minutes of this ringing for them to make it stop. It was very upsetting. There was no apology despite of us stating it was waking up our kids.

Great location. Walk to restaurants and little shops. Clean rooms. You could probably kill the breakfast and offer a voucher for the attached little smoothie/breakfast bar in the hotel. Staff was super nice and helpful.

Very easy and convenient to the center of town. The room is very large.

Beautiful hotel, spectacular view from our window, clean kitchen and bathrooms and the great location. The only complaint was our bedroom carpet was covered in disgusting stains. Everything else was excellent.

The hotel is in a prime location downtown, close to everything and near the waterfront. Staff are excellent and I loved my room which was clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is limited but gets the job done. It’s in a cute smallish room. The gym is decent and the pool looked nice (I didn’t use it)

We had a wonderful weekend getaway in Easton. This hotel was beautiful, we were pleasantly surprised with the room. The breakfast was a nice tough. The front desk attendant was very hospitable and informative. We will definitely be back for another weekend getaway!

Great area. Great rooms. Even greater staff.

Was a nice hotel however i stayed in the "Queen Suite w/balcony" it is NOT a Queen bed only a full. The pull-out queen sofa doesn't have a mattress just metal springs in a bag basically. The bathroom doesnt have an exhaust fan, so after 4 people showered the suite was so humid.
The place was very clean, great kitchen. The balcony was great! Awesome views.
Just NOT happy paying for a queen and only getting a full. Probably should have asked for a partial refund.
