We were not satisfied with this place. The bedroom was very small (double bed with just a couple feet on each side of the bed) and so was the bathroom. When we arrived, the window in the bathroom had been left open and dozens of large bugs were crawling / flying around in the room. I had to get rid of them all myself. Also, the bathroom had a sign saying not to flush any toilet paper because it would clog the pipes. We had to put used toilet paper in the small trash can next to the toilet then smell it every time we went into the bathroom. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

Fantastic service. I also recommend booking your tours or excursions through the hotel directly- they were super helpful and went really well.
Breakfast was cooked to order with fresh fruit each day.
I loved the deck and spent a lovely afternoon reading out there.
Our room was clean and spacious and very eco friendly.
One thing to note is there is no AC, so expect windows open and fans on. The temperature was fine this way.
I would stay here again in the area for sure!

Staff were super helpful.
Most people travel by motorcycle and they whizz up and down the street outside all times of day or night. Take earplugs.
Breakfast was ok. Not very extensive.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very nice, with a modern bathroom and high-quality amenities. Excellent breakfast is provided with a fruit plate, coffee, juice, and several choices of hot breakfast. Staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful in booking cloudforest tours. Highly recommended.

Nicely renovated place with friendly and helpful staff. You could choose your breakfast from a few options which was nice. We booked a couple tours with the hotel's help and it all worked well! The room was a bit small but clean, and the bathroom was rather recently renovated. The parking area was a bit tight.

Place is definitely a place to stay, whole staff is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Best sleep to have after a long day. Distance from center is not far and also is it close to Monteverde park. Roads are a hassle to get there. Food is delicious.

The staff is great , told us about the area and explained how far things were. Also contacted our zip line company to double check pick up for us. Rooms were as expected, clean and comfy. For the price can’t beat it

This quiet hotel was the perfect spot. The views were stunning, food was great, and the people were even better.
Diego and Justin are some of the best people. They helped us find things to do and gave great recommendations. Not only that but we got stuck with a transfer that didn’t show and Justin spent majority of the morning call everyone he knew to get us a new transfer… saved our butts.
Highly recommend this place not just for the stay but for the people.

The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. I was desperate for a massage and the front desk clerk made arrangements for me at another hotel with a spa for the massage. It was a life saver. I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see in Monteverde

We had a great stay at Camino Verde! We were greeted by friendly front desk staff Justin who was very helpful and knowledgeable. The location is fabulous. Very walkable to town and restaurants although it is up a bit of a hill for those with mobility issues. Room was spacious, clean and well stocked with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotion from a local eco friendly company. View from restuarant is very nice and the breakfast was delicious! Kitchen staff were friendly and efficient. We arranged a tour of the Monte Verde Cloud Forest from the hotel which was excellent. Parking is limited but they do have enough spaces. Highly recommend

Although the room was much smaller than the photos would suggest, we had a great stay at Camino Verde. All of the staff were incredibly helpful with local suggestions and booking tours. Friendly staff and the amazing breakfast were definitely the best part. Location is great for walking to town for food or shops. Would definitely come back again!

What a wonderful surprise, the photos don't do it justice! We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was up to date, spacious, and had nice homey touches. The kitchen is great for eating in, the bedroom is massive, and the private outdoor area is great for enjoying the sunset.
Diego was so nice and helpful from check-in, to organizing tours, and providing great food recommendations. The included breakfast was fresh and more than enough food.
Definitely recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at Camino Verde. It was clean, friendly, and the views spectacular. The front desk staff were very helpful, and it’s walking distance to shops, groceries and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

It’s clean B&B with nice views. Staff was good, after check in front desk guy helped with luggage and showed our rooms. Morning breakfast is good in nice room with great views. Our room is clean and bathroom was spacious. It’s good for price but don’t expect too much.

If one is inclined to drive up the side of the mountain to experience the cloud forest, this hotel is an excellent place to call home. The staff, especially Diego, were so kind and took really great care of us from the moment we arrived. The room was quiet and clean, the breakfast was yummy and the view from deck was outstanding. We made a great choice.

Nice property, but pay attention to the room you get, ours was below the kitchen, too noisy, I couldn't sleep after 5.00 am, too dark as well, almost no windows. The price we paid was much more than the value we got. Convenient location, close to restaurants

Camino Verde is such a quaint, sweet B&B just outside of the central area of Monteverde. The staff truly made the visit; Diego and Jeaustin in particular was very helpful booking tours and transit, as well as giving us tips for places to explore. Only downside is that you have to walk up a very steep hill to get to some of the restaurants and shops, but much of Monteverde is this way. Thank you for an accommodating, pleasant stay!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while in Monteverde. The rooms are not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Diego was helpful in planning activities and tours. We had breakfast each day with coffee, fresh fruit and other choices. We met several other travelers here and it was a short walk to the downtown area.

It was a very peaceful restful location, views were incredible. Monteverde is very hilly, so if you dont have a vehicle, prepare for ups and down.

This place is amazing. The views are not only nice but it's super convenient to everywhere. The front desk is very helpful and honest. Talk to them about tours, restaurants, etc.

Great staff! Great location & delicious breakfast. Coffee all day and refrigerator space. We loved the balcony & the popcorn. Mayco was super helpful with our booking! Overall excellent experience! Highly recommend. Thank you for such a great stay.
