Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. A beautiful hotel suite with Nespresso coffee, fast internet and great views. I really appreciate the late checkout and the helpful advice with local attractions.

After my stay I received an email that the cleaning staff found the sink stained, the cleaning staff had not been in for 4 days, why wait til I had left to address this. I only cleaned my face, teeth and rinsed fruit in the sink, how could I have stained the sink. Zara Tower Hotel has a $500.00 deposit. Something fishy from this hotel.

This was a fantastic stay! As a family of 5, we had plenty of room with two bedrooms and two baths. The living area was large and comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked - I especially appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine with included pods! The location is great with only a 10 minute walk to the Central train station and 15 minutes to Darling Harbour. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. If I'm ever in Sydney again, this will be my first go-to hotel.

Zara Tower Hotel was very nice! The staff was always helpful and friendly. The reason for the 4 star rating for cleanliness and condition was because the floors were a little dusty in areas and the drain in the bathroom shower and sink were slow draining. But other than that, everything was great! Zara Hotel was a really nice place to stay and the staff was excellent!

We loved staying here, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Staff were friendly and loved the little details in the room, t2 tea and Nespresso pods ect. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was great, thank you Zara for a great stay. We will stay again!

The location is convenient and service is excellent. The staff is very helpful too. Only a minor suggestion is to arrange a bigger trash bin in the toilet so that it is much easily to throw the rubbish into the bin and no need to strp on the stepper. I have hit my head by the corner of the mirror while throwing the rubbish bin with one of my foot controling the stepper.

We stayed in the Sky Room for the last two nights of our two week stay in Australia and it was by far our favourite accommodation. The room was exactly as pictured— modern, cozy, and clean. Staff were kind and attentive. Would highly recommend staying here :)

Booked a month long stay based on property description which stated laundry facilities. On arrival I was told there was no in room laundry and they thought they should flag that to me given the length of my stay. Unfortunately they told me after the 48 hour cancellation policy had passed. Apparently laundry is only available in certain rooms and for others it was taken offsite for a surcharge and returned at a later date. There is no mention of this anywhere. I had specific reasons for needing in room laundry and given length of stay this was unacceptable so I had to move hotels after the first night (I arrived too late in the evening to sort it for that night). I was charged for the full month as it was in the T&Cs that you are liable for the entire stay if you don’t give 48 hours notice for cancelling, despite the description being inaccurate, me not knowing that until I arrived, the staff agreeing it was misleading and also despite the fact they had plenty of time to get the room booked out to someone else over that period. There was also a very odd swing in the room, randomly hanging from the ceiling next to the bed that resembled a sex swing which I thought was pretty inappropriate but I guess may appeal to some! The property are refusing to reimburse for the nights I did not stay (I said I would pay the 2 extra nights to cover cancellation policy) so I’m now having to commence legal action to get the money back. I would suggest booking anywhere else.

My daughters and I had the pleasure of staying here for the weekend. 3-5 November. It’s walking distance to The Capital Theatre and many restaurants. It’s a short walk to tram line and train station. Staff were lovely and helpful. The 2 bedroom apartment was amazing. Large and roomy. Only thing and no biggie no TV in bedrooms. Definitely stay again. Thank you Zara Tower Reception Team and all staff for a memorable stay 🌻

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay for the 4 of us. We couldn't get the coffee machine to work but because of the amazing coffee shop on the corner decided not to ask the front desk about it. Bedding is incredible. Location is great. View is mostly horrible but expected for the price. Staff were helpful. Would stay again.

The one-bedroom apartment was bigger than our apartment back home! Huge kitchen and living spaces. Incredibly comfortable and soft king sized bed. Loved every night we had here. Definitely the best hotel from our big trip to NZ and Aus

Staff not too helpful Asked for a late check out at check in - they didn’t help ask to ask reception late that night I said I will come in very late and they said back “ you will come back aren’t you” - I didn’t need this kind of an answer Asked to leave a message for them to do so they said no and news asked to ask them in the morning I called in the morning - they didn’t help and asked to to call back later called later and they only allowed 30mins extension for a later check out. Overall staff were not engaging to help with a simple request I felt they didn’t want to help and kept pushing back All they could’ve said is yes or no

Sorry for the late review. Was able to stay here while traveling to Sydney with the family. The room was very nice and clean. Loved how it was sound proof for I have little ones running around inside and usually gets complain from guests downstairs at other places but here I didn’t. Staff was very friendly. Close to shops, restaurants and the train. Had washer and dryer in the room. Was planning to get a rental car but glad we didn’t because everything was in walking distance and u could take the train to all the other area that you wanted to see and from/to the airport. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Sydney!!! Only recommendation I have for the hotel is the tv should be mounted on the wall for at time I was nervous that my little kids might knock over the tv on the stands and had to keep a eye on them the whole time in that room.

The apartment was immaculate and very cozy. Staff were pleasant and bent over backward to assist. This is our first visit to Australia and this was our first hotel so we were delighted to have such a nice stay to start off.

Fabulous two night stay at the Zara Tower. Staff were very friendly and so happy to help, they made us feel right at home. The Soho suite was lovely, very roomy and clean with trendy room design and decor plus an essential Nespresso machine for morning coffee. So much room and the comfiest king bed. It just felt like we were in a NY apartment. Close (and walking distance) to some beautiful restaurants, Chin Chin around the corner and the amazing Yulli’s a 10 minute walk. Will definitely stay again when in Sydney.

The Zara Tower Hotel was fantastic! It is probably one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. We arrived at 7 am, and they stored our bags and my refrigerated medication until our room was ready. When we arrived to check in, they delivered our bags and put my medication in the fridge. The room was amazing and HUGE. It was well thought out and had everything you needed. Everything was well thought out, and they offer T2 tea (local to Australia) and Nespresso. They provided many services and even offered a reasonably priced next-day laundry service. It is centrally located to get to the central train station, touristy attractions, and all the Surry Hills restaurants and shops. I can't wait to stay here again!

The soho was nice and large. Well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was basic and dated, there were not enough towels nor a fan. The Expedia page says their is laundry but there are no laundry facilities onsite. You can pay to send out. Not convenient for a long stay apartment when traveling for 3 weeks
