Beautiful resort! Food was good but needed a few more options. Nice size, not to big and easy to get around.

Amazing vacation. We would definitely come back. The service and hospitality was incredible.The property is a little older but the staff recommended some great excursions. Plenty to do both on and off premises.

Staff was very nice, caring and professional. Activities were fun and entertainment was great everyday and night. Nice peaceful beach setting. Will definitely stay there again.

The experience at Jewel Resort was not what I anticipated. I was hoping for a more authentic experience and the resort cater to more American. If you are seeking a more authentic experience, this is not the resort for you. The customer service was mixed. There was lack of communication with staff starting with check in. After a long flight and arrived at the check in window the front desk continuously informed us that our room would be ready in 15 minutes... Our room wasn't ready until 1 1/2 hours later and although we were seated by close to the front desk and ask if they can informed us when our room is ready: no one came and notify us. The resort was not what we imagined as it it a bit outdated. Areas such as buffet and hibachi had great customer services, but areas such as the one by the pool side had terrible customer service. There wasnt communication pertaining ordering food and once we order (burger) it took over an hour (there was only a couple other people within the area). Only once we were leaving the area is when we were told that our meal was ready. There were some plus such as the night club, bar, and excursions. Overall, I was disappointed by the experience. I would return to Jamaica, but will not return to Jewel resort.

Staff was wonderful. Butler service was outstanding and they went above and beyond expectations. Food was adequate. Bar selection was OK, they ran out of certain alcohols frequently. My only real complaint would be the lounge chairs on the beach were older and uncomfortable. Unfortunately this would stop me from booking here again since the beach is I where spend most of my time.

The buffet was really good and had lots of options including some traditional Jamaican dishes. Good food and drinks available around the clock. The entertainment shows on the weekends during dinner were lovely. My only complaints are our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 3:15 even though check in was at 3 so there’s that. The bed hard and uncomfortable. Overall I would stay there again because the staff was very nice, affordable and good food.

Stay was ok, but had some issues. Ex. Hostess whis seated us for dinner dis not give us menus. She had tjem in her hand and walkwd off with them. Also several timea at various meals the waitress took our drink order but did jot bring it out. And the staff seemed to pay more attention to locals who visited for the fay than staying guests.

We really felt the need to tip at every turn which was perhaps unnecessary but we felt that way - which got uncomfortable at times. We also thought that the spa services and items at the gift shop were way overpriced (we spent almost 100 USD on two bottles of sun protection. Other than that we had a wonderful time !

The amenities need a bit of an upgrade and a few more parking spaces but staff was kind and very courteous. I totally enjoyed my stay. Brought my Mom and her partner along with my husband and I and we had a blast. As a returning resident it made me very proud. I will be back.

A personalized feel to every interaction. I felt catered to anywhere on the property I went. The check went all out for my husband whose a vegetarian.

Honestly, the only thing we didn't like about this resort was the fact that when the schedule says things open at a certain time, they are not open. This happened with breakfast twice and coffee at the cafe shack a few mornings. The entertainment team is amazing and we had a blast partying with them all week, but if some staff in general don't want to do something, they won't. We are still waiting for pizza to be delivered to us at the sunset bar above the pizza place, and our trip has ended. We waited an hour before realizing the order which they were reluctant to take was never actually placed and just left. Janice, Ojai (spelling? Sorry!), Roan, Jeremiah, and Marlon were all amazing people who made us feel at home, although not one member of staff was ever rude or unfriendly and they all deserve your tips and gratitude! Snorkeling on the small beach and playing at the waterslide were also pretty great highlights to our trip. In general we had a fun week, but I think we will try someplace new next time.

I really liked the property but I would say it needs updating in some areas. I was satisfied with the overall food options. Especially the Samuari Jade and Moonstone, those were phenomenal restaurants, great entertainment and food quality! I would definitely go back just to eat supper there! Also, the live band at the coral cafe killed it every night, I would go back just for them too! Some not so great insights - I wish the drinks were more consistent. I hope the hotel does something about the tipping culture because it feels like you have to when you already spent so much on the booking. The main negative I had was that I was not satisfied with the room as I asked for oceanfront and paid extra thinking I would get a better view and I told the concierge but she said that I did have oceanfront and that there wasn’t anything else they can do for me. However my view was blocked by a massive tree and one of the resort restaurants. It was hella dismissive and she didn’t even try to give other options. Shoutout to these staff members for making my stay great: Sean at the front desk, Paul with security, Ojuchi (definitely misspelled) at sunken bar for his sick drink mixes, Susan with dinning, the whole aqauamarina bar team (especially the chef). There are definitely more great staff members!

At the beginning of our trip, we gave the staff and the swrvise 5 stars. Unfortunately this changed after 4 days. Apparently we hadn't tipped enough. At the pool the food was no longer brought to the table, you were called to pick it up. Also at dinner you had to ask for coffee and drinks in the 2nd half of your stay. Ovrr 170$ for a massage is definitely too expensive. Otherwise the food etc was good for the price.

It was beautiful and the staff was amazing

The staff was amazing. Especially Geetha in the Jade restaurant and Britany who was on the glass bottom boat and cleaning the pool. They remembered our names and went out of their way to take care of us. Everyone was so friendly it made us feel special.

It’s all inclusive so everything is paid for so we tipped through the stay but everytime we asked for change it was like an inconvenience for the staff to get and when they didn’t have change the would glare at us for not leaving tip. The hotel does not look as nice as the photos online. The pools were dirty had garbage wrappers in the pool skimmers. The facility seemed kind of out dated. The spa was nice but over priced they said it was 150.00 each and we got stuck with a 600.00 after service charges, government charge and tip. We booked a romantic dinner and was told we could select our wine, then was charged a premium price for a bottle of wine we thought was included in our price. No body approached us regarding excursions we had to request the information. Th y don’t offer transportation to the airport, which is an additional 100.00 one way bc it’s 45min drive.

Great junk hut and decent scuba service

Property was well maintained and staff was very attentive. Activities was good throughout the day and entertainment was nice in the evening. Unfortunately, the alcohol selection was very limited using only majority budget brand name. Will return as we felt welcome and appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. The accommodations were great and easy to access all parts of the resorts. The food was good but the highlight was definitely the jerk chicken shack! We will be back for sure.

Went to ring in my 40th bday the resort was beautiful and loved how everything was close to everything. The staff are amazing, Merrin the omelet king along with Sherene, Deron, TerriAnn, wayyyyyyy too many to name. They were all great and made us feel so welcome. The entertainment, activities were nice and great all adult resort I think there could have been more food options, that was my least favorite thing but everything else was great.

You could use a LOT more umbrellas around the pool and beach. And get rid of the grungy ones you have.
