Amazing from begining to end. We kindly got given an upgrade from family room to the Newyork suite. The room was perfect, spotless everything look like new very well looked after. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Perfect position for NEC. Sky restraunt was lovely food was so good. Breakfast was alos lovely. This stay made our Crufts experience extra special. Thank you.

Hotel and staff were wonderful, could’ve benefited from a little more attention to detail from the cleaning staff as upon arrival at our room there was a shower cap placed over the smoke detector from previous guests which was a little off-putting but otherwise a wonderful stay and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again for a concert at the arena.

Hotel was great. Sauna was broken in the spa and had to go down to the desk to get room service as didnt answer the phone then didnt bring everything. Food was microwave meals

We received a warm welcome at reception. Our room was spotlessly clean and pleasant. Our room was a long walk from the lift down the end of two long corridors, something to consider if your mobility isn’t brilliant. For me the bed was a bit too hard and I’m use to much softer pillows. Good selection of tea and coffee in the room as well as soft and alcoholic drinks included in the fridge. That was a nice touch. Nice roof top bar and restaurant. Staff and service very good. Great location for NEC.

Worst stay ever .. broken AC, broken safe, bad food at dinner, terrible service at breakfast, had good massages at the spa and girls there were lovely .. usually so happy with this place as we stay several times a year but after a weekend with no proper sleep, no proper food, I was very disappointed to be told, thanks for the feedback but there’s no manager here to deal with your issues :(

Came to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday we had an amazing stay and meal and cocktails we will definitely be coming back.

Hotel lovely and staff very helpful. Only disappointment was the bread available at breakfast - it was truly disgusting and let down an otherwise nice selection of food.

It was very good location to the event we went to. With good social Activities near by with plenty of good food outlets and bars.

Great location for the NEC. The reception area was very nice and smelt wonderful. Huge lifts. Clean corridors. Our room showed signs of ageing on the cabinets as in the vineer being chipped. Otherwise very clean and comfortable. Good shower and facilities.

Reception was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. Bed was really comfy. Bathroom was spotless. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was lovely and being part of resort worlds there was lots of things to do. The only slight issue was thee spa was extremely bizzy and couldn't get a space we had obviously gone there to use the facilities that you had to call and book. After raising this concern the hotel swiftly acted giving us a space around 8pm on the evening and also offered us to use the next day if we wished The supirer rooms comes with nice touch of mini bar, soft drinks, alcohol, water and chocloate/ crisp and busicuit with the tea and coffee which were all free Robes and slippers were also provided, couldn't fault great stay

The hotel did NOT exceed nor even meet my expectations. Cons: - having to pay £15 for slippers and robe which should be for free at a luxury hotel; - having to wait 2 hrs for spa access after being added on a waiting list; - no view - room overlooking a terrace which you don't have access to. Pros: - lovely spa; - clean and comfi room; - decent breakfast.

hotel smart but free parking was only available for certain superior rooms and this was not clear (£20 for their own parking is excessive ) check in and hotel very smart and easy . i gave overall 3 stars as a strange constant noise kept me awake ( turned air con off but still continued )

For a 4 star hotel with spa charging £15 per person for a robe which most hotels give anyway, extra charges for everything including parking etc

Great hotel, enjoyed our stay, serviced was great. No issues with our stay. Heating worked well. Tidy rooms. Clean bathrooms. Only issue was the spa, they are limited on lounges, they allow to many people in at once, it was so busy you literally couldnt get into the steam rooms, saunas etc… nothing is monitored, people had the phones by the pool when were told your not allowed to. I wanted to use the jacuzzi but you had people in it 30-45 mins, even though on the door says to be mindful of others use only 15 mins. I shouldnt have to ask people to get out. Staff should be looking at these things, its not a relaxing spa at all! Its free for all.

Stayed here while attending a show with my mother at the arena. Best location and very nice hotel. I would recommend that those attending a show contact the hotel about parking in advance.

We stayed here for a night as we had our Christmas party at Nec 1 perfect, park in the under ground car park then the lift up to reception, very easy and would stay here again for when we come for a concert

Well I paid for mine and my partners stay through Expedia after a last minute decision as we didn’t realise the Xmas market was on in Birmingham. So didn’t get much Xmas shopping after eating. We brought tooth brushes, clothes etc to wear the next day and decided to stay at the Genting hotel as resorts world has shops! So perfect up and breakfast and go get the rest of the stuff for the kids and got to the hotel around 9.15pm and was told as I had no physical I.D that I couldn’t stay even though they was not prepared to refund my money! And the booking was non refundable. I had my passport in my camera roll but it was not good enough. So after a long battle and getting no where, we made the trip home, not to return to the hotel as it was 11.45pm by the time we reached back home and then to check out at 10am after a long journey to get back there seemed really pointless; after all it was meant to be as a treat, a spontaneous hotel stay and to wake up feeling fresh to shop not knackered after driving stupid hours to get my physical passport! The night manager was very unhelpful and actually kept blaming Expedia.Expedia blamed the hotel and neither want to refund! Disgusting customer service!!! I do look young but I didn’t go to the casino and it’s a shopping mall as well, no ID is needed to go into a restaurant or the shops and I think it was lazy staff and not one manager called me regarding this nor a supervisor! The service was disgraceful, I was so unhappy!
