Beautiful and safe resort. Free breakfast was awsome. There are hair dryers in room and everything you need. A store a few seconds away. Rooms are amazing and clean. Staff super helpful.

We loved our stay here!! We stayed for 5 days for our honeymoon and would absolutely go back. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs. Bummed we couldn’t see the volcano since it was mostly rainy during our stay, but we are just happy to be there! Highly recommend this place.

Paradise Hot Springs was amazing. Rooms were immaculate and super clean. Hot springs were clean and so much fun. With all the older hotels in the area so glad we stayed here. Clean and close to the town with tons of food options.

I really cannot say enough about this resort. Hospitality was excellent! Location of the resort was perfect. Maybe a 5 minute drive to La Fortuna but good distance out of the city. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Rooms were clean, fresh sheets & towels everyday, roomy & updated. Staff was super friendly. Condition of the resort was excellent. Make the right choice & stay here!

The view from this hotel is stunning. So many plants, birds, and butterflies. Hot springs were nice and pressure washed clean every morning. We had a lovely time here.

Overall we liked the hotel. It is small and quiet which was nice. The hotel has a great view of the Volcano and the grounds are pretty. It was nice to have the hot springs, we went in them every day. It's also close to town if want to go into town for dinner etc. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, but breakfast was good.

Stunning view of volcano from certain rooms. The rooms were palatial and modern with very artistic tiling and lighting . Gorgeous , immaculately maintained and plentiful of hot springs . Dining options a bit limited

Really nice property, close to town but enough away to not have bustle. Great to be able to do trips during the day, then relax in the pool in the evening. Killer views of the volcano from the viewing deck (outside the coffee/snack bar) Rooms were spacious, impeccably clear. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only downside was that the restaurant food was not great. But hotel restaurant food rarely is. Go eat at a Soda!

The springs were gorgeous and the unobstructed view of Arenal was unmatched. Could use exterior lighting on “entrada” sign as it was difficult to see when pulling in at night. Almost all of La Fortuna is not very walkable (not safely at least) and this property is no different but had everything we needed on site. Had many meals and drinks and they and the service were great.

We had a great stay. Having on site thermal baths included in the price was great after a day of activities. The included breakfast was also good. Our room was near the kitchen and the road which was a bit noisy, the higher room numbers would be quieter.

We stayed here for half of our trip to Costa Rica for my husbands 50th birthday. This resort is beautiful, and I wished we had spent the whole time here. The pools were great, and staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if we went back to La Fortuna.

Enjoyed our two night stay - the variety of thermal pools was nice and relaxing. Room was very modern and well designed. Bathrobes were a nice addition. Only complaint was that the dinner was very overpriced (we ordered the local steaks - they were almost $50USD each but had a lot of gristle and not the best cuts of meat).

This is a stunning property with incredible staff. From the moment we walked in, Jackie (sp?) was amazing and automatically slowed down her Spanish so I could understand and work on mine. Then kindly repeated everything in English to my husband. We were there in the rainy season and even got a free upgrade. The room was like staying luxurious, quiet easy to walk to and from. The thermal pools were set up so beautifully, with quiet paths and gardens all around. Lots of little quiet areas to sit or lay down. There were zero problems with this stay and wish we could stay longer.

The staff is very friendly; upon checking in, they automatically emailed me a list of activities in the area. The property has several natural hot springs pools located on the property, and the pictures of the property are very accurate (looks just like the in the pictures). The property is located within 5 minutes of downtown. My only issue was that the housekeeper didn't clean our room until around 3 p.m. each afternoon. I definitely recommend Paradise Hot Springs Thermal Resort!

I love hot springs and have been to many. This one is my new favorite. Staff is so friendly and helpful, pools are fantastic, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. I highly recommend this place, it’s very well named.

Stayed during rainy season and was not crowded at all. The thermal pools were refilled each day and were really nice. The drinks were good. The server/ bartenders were almost all great. One girl was kind of standoffish and would try to ignore us when we wanted to order. The view of the volcano from the property is basically almost as good as the national park trail view. Rooms were super nice and cleaned well too! Overall very good stay!

Peaceful and quiet oasis! From the lush tropical surroundings to the comforting hot springs, this resort felt like our own private getaway. Little hot tubs set in private gardens, 2 large pools with private chairs to relax. Friendly and helpful staff and a gorgeous coffee bar backed up to the volcano with no one in sight. We will stay here every time we visit the La Fortuna area. You will not be disappointed!

Paradise Hot Springs, was just as the name implies, Paradise! The rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and lush with so many tropical plants. The back of the property and the cafe/ bar offer a spectacular view of Arenal volcano. Jackie, Louis, Esteban and all of the staff were so very kind and helpful. The hotel is a short distance from La Fortuna, the hub of the region with so much to do. We can't wait to go back!

We really had a relaxing time at Paradise hot springs, it isn’t a huge hotel but I feel like that’s part of the charm. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly with booking tours and acquiring transportation. The breakfast spread had a variety of options including vegetarian and the pools are clean and soothing after a day of activities.

This property was clean with friendly staff. It is in prime location from all the attractions. The only downfall is that their hot springs are open to non hotel guest, so it was a bit frustrating coming back from a tour and having the hot springs full with no place to lounge.

We stayed at Paradise in July during the first 31/2 days of our vacation to Costa Rica. The hotel is small but really beautiful. The grounds as all of La Fortuna near the Arenal volcano were stunning. All the thermal hot springs are set among the lush foliage and it truly makes it feel like paradise. The pools are all nicely maintained and there are several pools and smaller jacuzzi size ones to choose from and all varying in degrees of heat, with some also being cool to take a break from the hot. The property is small but I enjoyed the easy accessibility from our room to the pools and restaurants. The view from the cafe on the upper level looking out to arenal is absolutely amazing, it was hard to not think of Jurassic park and imagine dinosaurs coming down the mountain when we were there lol it’s just amazing. The one con would be the dining buffet both breakfast (included) and for dinner a couple of nights was just ok. It’s food but it lacked variety and was just not that great. Not a game changer for us, I kind of expect that at resorts that cater to mass food production. I will say the staff were amazing. They were so respectful, kind, efficient and at the ready to help and solve any issues. Paradise is located outside of La Fortuna center but an easy cab ride for $10 (for 8ppl) will put you in the middle of a very active city center to buy souvenirs or to enjoy restaurants. Overall a lovely option for our stay if you enjoy more of a cozier boutique hotel.

We had a great time at Paradise Hot Springs. It is in a perfect location to explore La Fortuna and we were also able to drive to La playa hermosa beach (3 hours) and Monteverde (2.5 hours.. although just to warn you the roads leading to Monteverde aren’t as good). The hotel staff were very accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was rice and beans, eggs, sausage or chicken, pancakes or french bread, toast, cereals and fruit. You had towels for the hot springs, which you could access earlier than the visiting tourists. If you haven’t booked any excursions, they have a list of activities and prices that you can book through the hotel (we booked directly so cannot comment). The room was very clean and of a high standard (looks better than the photos) and you had two locks on the door and a security guard, so felt safe. The housekeepers were lovely and made different shaped animals with the towels which was a nice touch. We had a fridge and a freezer in the room which was useful. The AC worked very well. I thought we would have issues with insects in the room but we didn’t have any! The only thing to know is that you will be able to hear people directly outside of your room- not sure why, maybe the walls aren’t that thick? We were able to park our car without issues at the hotel. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay in Costa Rica.
