Please recognize Ms Lynette I believe her name was. I was in town for a funeral and graduations but received some devastating news while checking in and she was so supportive and I felt like I had a friend in that moment. She was amazing!

Not sure about the phone system. We weren’t able to make call to the desk. Not sure how the phone works. Seemed to be dead. Also the bathroom floor filled with water when using the handicap shower. It was messy.

For Sumter SC, this hotel was s gem. It was plush. Loved the shower and the bed was very comfy. BREAKFAST was ok too.

Our stay was nice. The latch on the bathroom door was broken, but it did not cause any problems. The breakfast was VERY good. It wasn't the typical "heat up in the microwave" garbage most places serve. Service was friendly and prompt

The breakfast was not tended to so the area was not only almost empty by 830 but it was also a mess. The food itself was not good. The waffles were too hard to eat. The second morning the bacon was too hard to eat.
There was hair on the walls of the shower. It looked as if it were from someone shaving their face. There was mildew on the grout. For what I paid per night I would have expected better.

The courtesy and consistency of the staff was totally outstanding.

The down button on the elevator wasn't working so we figured out we had to hit the up button, once in the elevator we had to wait for the door to close, then we could hit a lower floor. The front desk didn't mention it so maybe not aware. We will notify on checkout. Only stayed 1 night. Also, the room door slams shut. Otherwise it is very clean and quiet. The bed is very comfortable.

Such nice people and our room was amazing. Wheelchair accessible, lots of space to get around. Housekeeping never came during our stay so we had to request coffee and wash clothes, which were delivered but the room was never cleaned while we were there. However, we will definitely stay here again.

Nice stay.
Not stellar, but great location in the Historic District on Main Street. There is an Opera house across the street, (was not opened the weekend we were there) a brewery, and a local bar, but really nothing more !!

Brand new and clean . Enjoyed the gym and breakfast was excellent, not the usual stuff. Will stay here again.

It was decent, I expected it to be a little better. My door was “dead”. My keys wouldn’t work, I got locked out of my room twice and the front desk would have to come and charge my door… I never knew that was a thing. I had a view of Main Street which was cool.

Everything was great with one exception…the room door slams loudly. Other than that the staff is great, breakfast is decent, the room is as clean as hotels generally are, and the location was great.

The hotel room when we entered smelled line mildew andI immediately brought it to the attention of the front desk. The front desk made notes for the Manager to adjust our pricing the next morning. We asked to be moved to a different room immediately but was told they were booked up. I spoke with the Manager and voiced my concern and she was aware of the issue and offered excuses but no discount for the smell and wet clothes as a result of it. My wife had asthma and I have severe allergies and the mold spores were an issue all night.

Overall the hotel was good for a two night stay for a family event in the area. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable but small.

This property is next to a hospital, which isn't ideal. The parking garage isn't attached and apartments next door are pretty close.

Extremely Disappointing Stay
My recent stay was disappointing. Despite booking a room with two double beds and a sofa bed, I was given only one double bed and a sofa bed upon arrival. The hallway and room had a strong, unpleasant moldy smell, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. The lack of cleanliness extended to the bathroom as well. Overall, I do not recommend staying at this hotel if you value cleanliness and a pleasant stay.

The stay was ok. I needed my bed made, and was told they only clean rooms every other day. It was my birthday and the last thing I wanted to do was make a bed. I wanted to relax so I made the bed up. Will never stay again

The area is a downtown revitalization in progress so parts are great while others not as much.
They cleaned our room once during our stay and didn't empty garbage, only switched out some towels and simply rehung others and removed the bath mat without replacing it. During our entire stay, there were bags of garbage on the floor around the garbage cans at the elevator.
When we arrived later for breakfast, the offerings were limited.

Front desk staff could be better trained in customer service. There was no greeting upon arrival and some seemed more interested in talking with one another than helping guests in need of assistance.
