About this house rental
This spacious oceanfront Rockaway Beach vacation home features direct beach access, updated kitchen and bathrooms, private hot tub, and panoramic ocean views. The cozy sunroom and spacious open floor plan make this ideal for families and group getaways. Walk to local cafes and tourist shops in Rockaway Beach. Head out to deep waters with charter fishing services, hook up with a local guide for whale watching or kayaking. Or relax and enjoy the sandy beach. Bali Hai is on a seven mile sandy beach for your enjoyment. Fires are allowed on the beach 20 yards from property lines unless there is a fire closure in place. The city fireworks display is in front for the house on the Fourth of July and guests are able to view/enjoy the annual Rockaway Beach Kite festival. We will be available by text or phone during your stay. The house is in the center of town. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Check out these restaurants: Sand Dollar Restaurant Old Oregon Smoke House Activities: Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad This property is self check in. Guests will hav private access to the beach house via a smart lock system using a pin to be sent to you before your arrival. Guests may check in any time after the 4:00pm check in time. The house has a large gathering room which is the living room, dining room, and kitchen combination. Also, there is a large sun room facing the ocean. From the ocean side of the house there is direct access to the beach over the berm and down the rock steps. Each of the three bedrooms have queen beds. Once at the house you will not need a car as you are walking distance within the downtown.

We absolutely loved the house! Three friends spending time together, and we all enjoyed it very much. Our only regret was being there when it was cold, so we only used the glassed in porch once because it was just too cold to sit out there would loved to have had warmer weather to be able to sit out and have our morning coffee, easy, walk to restaurants and shops. I’m sure we will be back again.

We rented this property for a weekend away with our adult children. The home was spacious and had a great view. It’s conveniently located to restaurants. Many are within walking distance. We didn’t go out much during our stay because it was stormy. We would love to come back in the summer when more places are open and the weather is better.

A perfect place to stay. You don't need to go anywhere. It's all there...beach, sand, picnic table, surf...the sunroom is an amazing space to watch the waves, see the sun set, sip a glass of wine. A wonderful place to stay. We alked in and "oohed" ...

Thanks for the nice house, it was clean and beautiful. It has easy access to the beach and was also quite close to the main street in Rockaway. Host was communicative and caring. Definitely recommended

My 25-year friendship with a circle of six women wad shored up by our 5-day stay at Bali Hai. We walked, played games, shared food and talked until we fell into bed. The house is very accommodating to a group of people. There is room for art and room for gaming and room for sharing food. The kitchen is well stocked and the light in the house is amazing.

The house was fantastic! Very clean , had everything we needed. Beautiful views, access to beach & within walking distance to shops & food. We lost power one night, our housekeeper Steph called us and said she would be right over& she brought us flashlights & tea candles then called in the morning to make sure we were ok. Above and beyond!! Would stay there again!

This was a super nice house directly on the beach. Lots of updated touches and exactly as the pictures showed. As another visitor noted, it is right next door to a restaurant, but noise wasn't an issue, even during the kite festival (if you stay here, you'll have a front row seat!). The beach is nice and flat, and the area is perfectly situated for day trips to Manzanita and Cannon Beach. Unless you are a mountain goat (a railing would make it safer), it's best to avoid the steps to the beach on the property-luckily there is easy access one block in either direction. We really enjoyed our stay, and even though you're right in the middle of the action in Rockaway beach it feels quiet and peaceful.

Brother and sister with spouses. Enjoyed an amazing time on the beach with perfect weather. Loved the sunroom. Jacuzzi was fabulous brand new picnic table set up but unfortunately we didn’t use it because we simply chose to eat indoors. TV was large and working fine. Showers have nice pressure.

We loved this house! It was so spacious, the location on the beach was perfect for our ocean loving kids, and the sun room was great for their Grandparents to relax and watch them in comfort. With shops, restaurants, the beach and a playground on our doorstep it was all very convenient. We had a wonderful trip and would love to stay here again.

This is a wonderful beach home which feels bigger in person than the pictures! We loved it and would definitely stay here again. The views are amazing and location perfect.

We loved this place! The proximity to the beach, shops, food, etc. was amazing. We had lots of space to spread out. I have a child that has a lot of equipment and we were able to easily move him around! It was also well stocked and the property manager answered calls when we needed something. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

You can see the beach from everywhere in the house. Lots of seating there were six of us, and it was really comfortable.

This house is absolutely beautiful! The views are to die for! Location is fantastic! There was a few little flaws, but I would recommend this house 100%. I took my little dog, and my only complaint is the yard is very uneven and hard to walk your dog around out back to go potty. I also would recommend you take a flashlight while walking your dog around out back after dark. Can be dangerous if not careful. But that being said, it was the best place I have ever stayed, and I hope that I get the chance to stay here again. Had a absolute great time. Hot tub was aewsome!!!

The property is in the perfect location for dining, walking, and beach access. I traveled with my 88-year-old mom who had recently fallen so having a wheelchair accessible home was very important. There are no steps into the home which was important to us. The hallway into the home is very wide. Mom was able to pull up to the dining table to eat and work on a puzzle. The bonus room/sun room allowed for great beach watching and naps. The backyard allowed for my dog to roam around while I relaxed in the hot tub. What the home does not offer for handicap people is any bars next to the master toilet or in the shower. Also, the beds are way too high so mom had to sleep in a recliner. I however slept in a bed and it was like a little piece of heaven. I loved this home and it will be on my favorite list. I can't wait to go back but maybe with my grandkids.

My group of 5 lady friends were amazed at just how perfect the location, interior layout/spaces, and amenities of Bali Hai. We would definitely book it it again.
The house is literally right on the beach with a path down large flat rock stairs. It had 4 plastic Adirondack chairs we sat up on the dune to watch sunrises and sunsets and lucky enough to book on the weekend of Rockaway Kite Festival!
Owner was very accessible to answer questions. The hot tub was new in 2021 however the lock was salt water air rusted and she had maintenance crew out in 10 minutes to cut off lock at 9pm!
The interior design was designed beach modern perfect. Huge kitchen, dining and family areas. Large sun room with seating for 10 with 2 access doors out to hot tub and beach. Good size bedrooms and bathrooms plus huge master suite. All modern, gorgeous real wood floors and what appeared to be brand new carpet in bedroom sleeping areas only, gorgeous tile and counter work throughout, very comfortable beds, pillows, and high end bedding.
Smart TV to stream all our shows.
There is a nice vegan leather futon in the sun room that pulled out easily into a bed - one of the ladies used it with a provided heater and was very comfortable.
So relaxing listening to the waves crash while playing cards or working on a puzzle.
Seriously one of my top 3 rentals of all time!

This house was perfect for our stay, location was within walking distance or very short drive of so many things. The house was one of the cleanest beach houses we have stayed at by far!! We were concerned about being next door to the Sand Dollar restaurant but it was perfectly quiet and private for such a busy location. The only downsides to the house were the late check-in (4pm) and early check out (10am), and some windows missing screens so we couldn’t let air in some rooms during the warmer nights. Other than those minor things is was perfect!

The moment you open the door to this clean rambler, you are looking straight at the Ocean. The home is clean, spacious and well equipped. Steps to the beach, walking distance to stores. Pet friendly so we could bring our Canine son, he loved it. This was such a relaxing setting and the home provides so many areas to sit while still being able to enjoy the view. Property manager was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this property.

Super cute home with beautiful views of beach/ocean. Very clean and comfortable and nice grill. Did not use hot tub but it looked great. Beach access a bit tricky but there is a public beach access just a half block away with easy access. Close to shops, etc. Owner very responsive to questions.

One of the best houses we’ve booked! Spacious with plenty of comfortable furnishing, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds however a king in the large master bedroom would be better. The only negative for our group, was the extremely steep rock steps down to the beach. For us seniors (72 and 79) in good health it was difficult for us to get down even with assistance. The current photos don’t show how large and deep these rock steps actually are so a cautionary note would be helpful. The amazing views of the beach and waves from sun room, and all of the living room , dinning area and kitchen made it feel like you are on the beach even resting at the house. Great family memories were created here. Thank you for sharing this wonderful house!

Came down from Alaska and road trips to places I grew up. The place was perfect. The location was perfect. Fun time with good friends and family. The only recommendation Is more coat and towel hooks in the master bed/bath and coming into the back from the back patio and hot tub. The hot tub should have a place for rinsing feet since right on the beach. Other than that looking forward to the next stay.

We have been coming here for years and will keep coming. It’s a true gem right on the beach. Location and views are fabulous.kitchen is well appointed and the linens on the beds are like what you find in 4-5tar hotels. We wish there was a king bed in the master but that’s not a dealbreaker.

We played games, made puzzles in the sun room, created art, walked on the beach, and made great food together. We are so fortunate to be able to be together again in a home that accmodated our various needs. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds and living room furniture were very comfortable.

Very nice and well stocked with all needed amenities. Beach aces is down some large rocks, but the public beach access is just the other side of a small restaurant next door so we used that. The weather was mostly rainy, but we expected that. I would highly recommend this property to others

A very great beach house. Easy beach access, great views out the window, good location with everything you need at hand. But wow, the little things, like comfy chairs and great reading lights, state of the art coffee grinder and beans and the owner worked real hard to ensure the hot tub was working. Thanks. Also, restaurant next door very good.
