Staff was great but I won’t stay at this property again, I had to request new towels because the ones given to us were in bad shape, had to ask for a new room, the first was smelling like someone smoked on it and also was too noisy, hotel too expensive for the quality you get

Hotel was nice and clean. Very quiet but narrow roads make it a little hard to be accessible by car. Very close to all the Madrid attractions

This hotel is located is an excellent area. I was impressed with cleanliness of the hotel and room, however I was extremely disappointed with the fact that they intentionally shut down the air conditioner in all rooms during cold season so we had to keep windows open which would then make the room extremely cold and had to wake up in middle of night to close it. I complained the front clerk and I was told that they have received the same complaint from others. They said owners are aware of the issue but changes have not been made. This truly ruins the experience because we couldn’t really be comfortable in our room. The front clerk Victor was very very friendly and professional, thank you Victor!!

This would be a great hotel if it wasn't for some issues. The staff is friendly, the room was clean, water pressure was excellent, and the bed was comfortable. However, there was no way to regulate the temperature in our room. There were some hot days during our March stay but the hotel turned on the heater for the entire premise, which heated our room even more. On top of that, the AC unit in our room was disconnected by management to prevent guests from using it. The only solution we were given was to open our window which led to a shared balcony... this was not a good option. This needs to be addressed by management as it is not conducive to a comfortable stay during hot weather. Also, the hotel doesn't use key cards, instead they give you a single key with a huge keychain that you are supposed to carry with you or leave at the front desk if you prefer...

This hotel is a bang for your buck, clean it’s good rooms and right in the heart of where you need to be for metro and city tours.

The location of the hotel was great. The rooms were extremely noisy to the point that I had no sleep whilst i stayed. The walls were super thin and everytime the room next door to us flushed their toilet I thought someone is using our rooms toilet.

Great stay in Madrid. Close to everything but the benefit of being on a clean and quiet street.

I booked clearly asking WiFi and Free Parking but was told no parking available, I had to pay parking myself outside for 2 days. Terrible!

A good hotel near a metro station tucked away a little bit near the Main Street and the Palace. Only disappointment was the bars advertised were not open. Near fast food options and tapas bars.

With spacious rooms in a great location near Plaza de España, Cason del Tormes is showing its age. Like all Spanish hotel, it seems, the walls are thin so you can hear any rambunctious neighbors. Wifi is unreliable and power outlets few and located inconveniently beneath tables and behind desks where old-school appliances were traditionally plugged in, not near the bed or above the desk where modern devices are most often used.

Very good situated hotel with walk-in-closet distance to many attraktions. Good andelens rooms. Nice and friendly staff. However, breakfast was a weak part. Quite dull and bread not fresh.

Situated on a street parallel to Plaza de Espana, so very quiet, but also convenient for the metro, bus routes and city tours' access. Within easy walking distance of many tourist/cultural attractions and a good variety of bars and restaurants locally. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location of this property was excellent. Everything was clean and good as expected.
