Locație…de vis

Locația este excelenta pentru relaxare maxima, cazarea foarte buna, mâncarea buna, curtea si împrejurimile superbe. Turismul foarte dezvoltat in zona. Locația foarte aproape de obiective protejate UNESCO. Chiar si dacă nu ești mare fun mănăstiri/biserici, ar fi păcăt sa nu vizitezi mănăstirile din apropiere, ridicate de Matei Basarab sau Constantin Brâncoveanu.

Lipsa unui cos de gunoi in camera si faptul ca nu s-a ridicat gunoiul din baie. Pentru un apartament in care au locuit 4 persoane, faptul ca s-a ridicat gunoiul de la baie ( in lipsa si a altor coșuri de gunoi in camera) a fost deranjant. De asemenea, este deranjant mirosul de mâncare care se simte pe holuri. Recomand deschiderea geamurilor pe holuri pentru a permite aerisirea. Noroc ca in camere nu intra mirosul.

Tranquil babbling creek

Great location for hiking at Transalpina.Babbling creek was very tranquil. Free breakfast was delicious and generous servings. Cecilia,Georgette,Mihai and Jon are all valuable staff members with excellent customer service skills.

I loved it, would recommend it

Location is gorgeous. So quiet and green, bikes for the guests available at any time....beautifully decorated rooms.

The food offer was a little bit poor, not many choices

Exceptional

I loooved everything, but most especially the venue it's fairy tale like, you can also see the mountains, you have a river, excellent.

Maybe the food options for lunch and dinner should be more various.

Very nice and cosy atmosphere. Really nice design and architecture

It's a little too child friendly :) Parents at the bar, children running free on the stairs and the noise will surely keep you up. I won't say it was their fault but to keep in mind.

we needed to shorten the distance between home and another destination, and we ended by apreciating way more than expect

the room, the surrounding, the yard, the river next by, the food and the cats :)

We felt in love with this place

The perfect rustic place to visit and stay in the heart of Oltenia , close to Romanian famous mineral bath springs . Staff was awesome. I was interested in some local traditional beautiful carpets they have in the room and they put me in contact with the person who make them, they even drove me there. Their food is local and very tasty. It's a must visit place. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Great location for family and friends. Huge playground!

- huge playing ground for kids (and adults :) ) - peaceful location - excellent traditional food, not fancy but great taste - tourist attraction within reach by car - flexible host - great value for 3 stars hotel

Thoroughly enjoyable

The location is fantastic. The surroundings with the green garden and the river are just phenomenal. Lots of sun, lots of space, great views from the balcony where it feels like they brought the outside inside. I thought the decorations were very authentic and in line with their name. The bed were comfortable and the sparkling water on the table was a nice touch. The personnel were very friendly and professional.

It isn't anything we didn't like. Saying that, I would like to make some recommendations. The idea of serving lunch and dinner at the property is great and it can come in handy if you don't own a car or you are not in the mood to drive somewhere else. The present you with some god home-cooked food, but it is lacking in variety. Thursday they had almost the same food as they did on Tuesday. I felt it was a bit too soon to repeat it, especially that Romanian cuisine offers so many possibilities.

Exceptional

Great location in the heart of Buila Mountains, with a river in the backyard, where you can soak your feet in the summer time and wait for your dinner. I love that they don't use a la carte menues, but they cook one meal each time for lunch/dinner. Less food waste, less decisions ro make. The staff is always there to help, smiling and the rooms are so simple, but with elegant details, and the beds are extra confortabile. You can do so much around: you have caves, hiking trails, forest/ canion walks, biking (I think the staff can help with that too), visit local monuments, monasteries, or explore the paths across the river. Or just lay in a hammock all day long :) Miss it already.

Small piece of Heaven

Everything was perfect for a quick getaway. The rooms, the food, the views. We really appreciated the authenticity of the building. Will definitely return!

Kids friendly with lots of perks

One of the best places we've stayed in Romania. A cosy, welcoming, nicely furnished old "han" that caters to both families and couples, with a divine kitchen (seriously, the meals were some of the best we've found this side of the Carpathians) and a wonderful estate with carefully trimmed lawns and lots of places to explore. Couldn't really ask for more, but to come back as soon as possible.
