The place is not what we see on advertisement

The place need some improvement like the qeysor not working. The bad also not working. You need to buy plates,cups and cutlery. No privacy because we share the place with workers

I was disappointed the rest of my stay,I only enjoy when driving out to some places.

There was no breakfast I have to travel to the nearest shop to buy food.

There was no water we take a bath from a 20 litre bucket.the bed linens were not clean pillowcases were no clean.the swimming pool was also dirty.

This place is filthy it's a no go establishment

Nothing I liked on this property i checked out the next day due to poor state of the facility if anyone could assist me I want to send a video of what was our experience with that establishment i wouldn't recommend any of my clients there any more this brings booking.com into disrepute honestly

It's not good for any human to stay there I was under the impression on the pictures but arriving there I found horror instead our holiday was cut short without no refund hmmmmmm that Mr van Rooyen 💔💔💔

It was horrible, only slept one night, had to check out earlier than I was supposed.

The Gentleman was rushing for me to pay on arrival, even before he could show me my room , I found that unprofessional. The beds were very uncomfortable, there was no water after 22:00 to 08:00. Couldn’t bath at the facility n we slept with poo because the toilet couldn’t flush due no water available. It was a waste of money n time. Gates were locked when we came back late for sleep. Lockers to the room were in shambles. I felt like I was in the stable.Check out the following day meaning I forfeited the other money of booking of the second night

Horrible, disgusting, disrespected and scammed.

Nothing, the place was dirty and smelly, you guys need to go check these places before you put them on your website, cause how do we trust all the others you have on your website.

I have pictures to show, the linen was dirty, door locks falling off, windowpanes inside full of dust, power was off when we got to the place and the lady told us there is nothing she can do to come help us as she was sleeping, it was raining, the 2 rooms was leaking hence we couldn't use the one with the thatch roof as the leaking was too much in that room and we had to use couches for those members of the family, the quality of their mattresses as you can see in the pics, the lowest I have ever seen

The rooms are big.

The beds are not comfortable. Everything in the house is old and not in good conditions.

I won't go back on that place

The location is good but they were supposed to tell us that their massage place and the guest house is in two different places we need to have our own transport the owner told us he will get us a transport we must wait for him.until our transport came,we ddnr have power to tell our transport driver to wait for us ti do massage poor poor

Bedding was dirty,bathroom water was cold only shower was working Only 1 lady working there we were 14 guest the lady was cleaning alone the whole house,one of our lady beaten by scorpion the owner didn't care about that poor poor dervice

Jacuzzis, that we were relocated to another venue after there was a technical problem with power failure

They don't have power back ups during load shedding. Eg, generator or sola panels

Stunning place. Definitely value for money.

The stove kept on tripping the power in the room .. but, I was able to cook in the main house. An inconvenience was that .... 1) The kettle wasn't cordless 2) I was able to hear the other guests

I invested in a couple of cleaning items to ensure my stay was great and I loved spending time there

The place is beautiful, cozy and I was happy with the tranquil and solitude setup

The room had evidence there were people who were there before me.

Disappointing

Outdoor, beautiful antique and great quality fixtures and furnishings. JP is very hospitable. Staff was under resourced and not property trained, however they give it their best. Other guests are extremely loud and noisy and impacted our breakaway. The units are not set up to allow for privacy

Noise, insufficient staff, no provision for load shedding. Food was served cold, no microwave in the unit to heat food. No coffee station. Menu very limited and food serve in rooms are tasteless and a mediocre menu. Firs morning, there was no hot water.

improve that room called five sleepers it must be only 4

i slept on a couch springs no comfort .kitchen to small utensils not for five sleepers only 3 plates. no sachets for tea but is bed and breakfast . curtains not in order. the other room double bed is old no comfort at all . the entrance to rooms need paving also . that room should be 4 sleepers not five because you cant sleep in a kitchen on a couch that is broken

I really like the staff who was looking after us in the Name of Elizabeth. She was great and professional also very helpful in anything that we needed at the time.

I didn't like the Spa at all if I may rate is 0. You need to employ qualified people for Spa or cancel it at all. As for breakfast please hire a qualified Chef someone who will understand and know best about the menu and how to serve the guests. Hire more staff please. During our stay staff were call from these facility to the other. Get an Admin who will run the show, hire a driver for other activities that needs to be executed.

Dissert and the pool the jacuzzi was nice

Breakfast was burned, lunch was cold and glasses on the tables had spider web, they took the coach in our room , the room was not clean during our stay, during lunch the waitress took the dishes while we still eat. The fridge in our room was not working, they place is far from the shops

Horrendous

I brought my own food, which I was allowed to, the kitchen was dirty. No cutlery, the TV was not working, the jaccuzi was filthy. The beds have bed bugs and totally uncomfortable.

There is absolutely nothing I liked about the place, the morning of the check out the owner didn't even come to check us out he sent a message to say he's on leave and there was no staff at all. My room window is at a passage whee his dogs sit, I couldn't open the window cause there is dog poo which smells horrible. The shower drainage system was not working, we couldn't shower cause the water just flood the bathroom. We had a terrible experience overall

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

Only mam Poppie made our stay a lil bearable, she went out of her way to keep a smile on our faces. It was not nice at all. From locking with a chain, open showers that causes floods, dirty bedding. I was disgusted and hey there are no Uber services around the area wanted to leave immediately. Dirty pool.

The place has potential to be amazing it needs proper mantainence pictures on the net are old pictures I believe when the premises opened.
