Perfect stay in Boquete!

Just a short walk from the bus stop and Main Street made it a great location. The fully furnished kitchen, with coffee was wonderful! The shared kitchen table & living room gave it a really warm feeling. The staff, although they didn’t speak English tried their best to meet our needs.

Idea location & accommodations, no complaints.

Muy buena estadía en boquete!!

El cuarto me pareció súper, había agua caliente muy rica, en las noches con las ventanas abiertas hacía buena brisa y temperatura, el baño estaba bien, todo limpio, buena ubicación, se podía caminar a todo, el staff fue muy amable, quedé contenta con mi decisión. El cuarto tiene un río afuera que suena delicioso! Las toallas me gustaron.

Me hubiera gustado que tuviera TV, no tiene aire, ni abanico, si eres una persona que le da calor muy rápido o fácil puede que te importe, a mi no por que soy friolenta. No tiene parkin. Solo tienen 2 almohadas, me hubiera gustado que hubiese almenos 2 para cada persona.

Locatie was perfect en lekker centraal, dichtbij het centrum van Boquete. Verder heeft het hostel faciliteiten die nodig zijn voor je verblijft

Op mijn kamer was het erg gehorig en de deur rammelde heel vaak door de wind. Daarna met oordoppen geslapen, wat het beter maakte. De kamer was niet bijzonder. Ik vond het aan de dure kant.

Great quiet but central location, nice communal areas and spacious well equiped kitchen

The bed and bedding could use a renovation, but slept pretty well anyway

Exelente, recomiendo y volvería

Me encanto la atencion de Judith tanto a nuestra llegada como en la noche que nos quedamos conversando. Super amable y a disposicion de ayudarnos facilitandonos informacion y contactos para el viaje. Fuera de eso, el cuarto impecable con ducha y camas amplias

Creo que podria estar mejor iluminado el sendero al cuarto o una identificación de cual es el cuarto o las llaves.

Beautiful location by a river, great facilities

On the last day it was extremely noisy due to a festival going on so we could barely sleep

Alles in allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt

Toll ausgestattete Küche und schöner Gemeinschaftsbereich. Die Lage war super - ruhig gelegen aber trotzdem sehr zentral. Sehr nettes Personal.

Überall im Bad und im Zimmer selbst waren kleine Flecken auf den Armaturen, den Wänden und dem Boden, wodurch es unsauber wirkt.

I highly encourage this place if you’re in Boquete

Love the use of kitchen and the many rooms to choose from, walking distance to many restaurants and stores very convenient, best of all was the sound of the river running through the back yard, very peaceful and relaxing. Will be back!

Great location, property and staff absolutely and loved the river in the yard.

The location was perfect, 3 minute walk to a supermarket, 3 minute walk to a veggie/fruit market, 2 minute walk to a sandwich and coffee shop, a fish market next door to the coffee shop, 4-5 minute walk to bus and taxis and downtown Boquete, stores and restuarants.

I liked everything about it and would gladly stay there again.

Great place. Recommanded.

It is a great location next to the mainstreet and buses (to go hiking). There is a nice garden next to a small stream. The kitchen is well equipped. The mattresses were great an there was a fantastic warm shower. Nice thick towels. Very clean an rooms well equiped.

It was ok, but expensive for what it was.

Close to town. Nice kitchen.

The bed was rock hard with thin, hard pillows. The light in the bathroom was such low wattage that we were basically showering in the dark. There was no handle on the inside of the room door that opened inward (just the deadbolt), and the air pressure kept the door shut; the only way I could get out was to reach up for the top of the blind on the door window - good thing I’m tall. Not sure how a short person would get out.

Wonderful place

Quiet. Great location right next to river. Walk to town and many restaurants and several parks. Common kitchen well equipped.

Difficult to find...no sign in front. Pay with cash only. Weather was blustery...misty and windy.

Comfortable relaxed getaway in central Bouqete

Great quiet location with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds! Helpful staff and beautiful garden by a stream, steps away from central Boquete by quietly tucked a few streets away.

Great value, terrific staff and nice size rooms with private bathrooms

Location and people were excellent.

Very windy and you could hear the roof moving and the drop ceiling moving all night long.

Central and Clean

Quality of the room, lots of storage/furniture, close to city center, bathroom, kitchen well equiped

No sign - makes it difficult to find, owners were not very welcoming

good location. very good facilities in the kitchen.

the whole hotel has no soundproof at all. one can hear every single small sound from the kitchen and next room, including defecation, snoring, farting, etc. one of the members of staff was very difficult to ask any help from her. the other one with glasses was much nicer and helpful.

Refund wouldn’t even make up for it!

Not much.

Wandered around looking for reception ten minutes before girl at a kitchen table told us it was her. Key lock to entrance doesn’t work and listened to new comers struggle with doors all night. Noisy room to outside and area was crazy loud music all hours of the night. Haven’t slept a wink. Hard to find and no signage on road. No parking on the alley way to the main entrance so be prepared to carry your luggage a ways. Also cash only which they could have told us before coming.

Confortable house for a break

It has been an amazing stay at Gaia Lodge. I loved the little stream that pass at the end of the garden, and the kitchen which more looks like a family one than an hostel one (very well furnished, super clean): it was a pleasure to cook here as at home! The location is perfect, as walking distance from the center where you can catch the bus, shop, take the tours... Very easy to dry the clothes also. Overall it has been a very confortable stay, and despite not the usual backback hostel style (families, oldest people...) it was easy to exchange while cooking or eating at the table overlooking the garden.

The lady working here during the day was very kind, but the one working at night could have been a bit more smilling: apart from that, everything was perfect!

Very good place to stay with clean well equipped kitchen and great location.

Kitchen clean and well equipped. Room clean and comfortable. Liked sitting by the river in the backyard in chairs already set up by the river. Great location close to bus, restaurants, and grocery stores. Planning to stay here again.

No purified water provided from larger dispenser to refill other bottles. Otherwise wonderful place to stay.

Was fine.

Pretty back garden. Walking distance to everything. Nice big, private bathroom.

Mattress was hard. Two very flat, very hard pillows on bed. We didn’t expect A/C, but a fan would have helped the room be a bit cooler.

Great place would come again

The place is only a couple of blocks from the main street and still it is very quiet. My room was located in the annex. The mattrass was very good and the shower realy hot. The kitchen is well equiped. Cathy, the lady at the (not yet existing) reception was very nice and very helpful.

WIFI didn‘t work at all in my room. I told the „reception“ but I don’t know if they are going to do something.

Very good

we stayed in the private room: great shower, big comfortable bed. Clean kitchen. The boss was very committed.

Nobody spok english. But it worked with the translation apps.
