Summary: Pelican Perch - Quaint cottage, close to downtown Port St Joe. The Space: Pelican Perch is a sweet and cozy retreat, located a few blocks from downtown Port Saint Joe. This home accommodates 6 guests and is pet friendly. The single family home has one bedroom and two baths. An open floor plan and natural light connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen together. The screened in porch sits right outside of the main living area with comfortable seating, that opens to the fenced yard with a propane grill. Pelican Perch has parking for two cars and boat parking. The public boat launch at Frank Pate Park is less than 3 minutes from the unit. Our kitchen is stocked with everything we think you’ll need during your vacation with us. Dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker, crock pot, dishes/silverware, a good selection of cookware, utensils, glassware, and much more! We strive to start all guests off with a supply of: Dish soap Hand soaps Garbage bags Dishwasher detergent Paper towels Toilet paper Laundry Detergent The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a twin with twin trundle, a large walk in closet with full size stackable washer and dryer. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and spacious vanity. The additional bathroom is located across from the kitchen with a shower/tub combo. Starlink High Speed Internet Bedroom: 1. Queen bed, Twin bed with trundle twin 2. Sleeper Sofa - Queen Bathrooms: 1. Primary - walk-in shower. 2. Hall - shower/tub combo. Pelican Perch is a non smoking unit, and is pet friendly for an additional fee. (dogs only please) Bookings through a third party site (VRBO), will have this fee added onto your reservation at the office. Children are welcome at this unit. Your reservation includes a $250 credit for beach gear! Choose from bikes, coolers, beach chairs/umbrellas, beach wagons, kayaks, paddleboards, and more. Best part, its delivered to the unit and is waiting for you upon your arrival. Monthly reservations are available. Call or email for monthly rates. Pelican Perch is located in quiet neighborhood that is close to recreational parks, including Frank Pate Park and George Core Park. The Port City Trail totals nearly four (4) miles of paved and lighted pedestrian surface. Restrooms, informational signage and water fountains are available at various points along the trail. Enjoy all historic Port Saint Joe has to offer- antique shops, great restaurants, breathtaking sunsets and much more. THIS HOME RENTS FOR A FULL WEEK (SATURDAY TO SATURDAY) DURING HOLIDAY WEEKS (MEMORIAL DAY, JULY 4TH, LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR) "Bring your furry friends along! This pet-friendly property warmly welcomes dogs for an additional fee of $100 per dog (maximum of two). Breed approval required—contact the office for details." Guest Access: There will be a guest information book inside of the home with local area info, restaurants, etc.

Absolutely wonderful vacation property. We have stayed in a number of different homes in PSJ; none compare to Pelican Perch. The most comfortable bed we have slept on. It just needs a recliner for us old-timers.

Cute house, perfect area & a great size for a couple. However, upon arrival the first thing noticed was the toilet seats left up after cleaning. The seat part looked cleaned but was stained so it looked disgusting. Also, couldn’t lock front door & had to call management to fix which they did with a brand new lock. It seemed like there had not been an inspection of property before we arrived it this issue went unnoticed ? This house had a higher cleaning fee than many others so I expected better. Windows on porch were full of bugs, cobb webs in light fixtures & toilet seats that should’ve been replaced long before we arrived. I called management to talk to them before this review but got no call back so the following is my option only ! The water was not hot enough nor is there a sanitize cycle on the washer in the house so unless they are taking those off sight I feel like they can’t be as clean as they advertise. Top covers are asked to be set aside so are those getting washed in between visitors ? The picture of kitchen shows a coffee pot for pods but that was not in the house. I’m assuming that broke & was replaced with a tiny cheap one so we had to go out for coffee. I feel like this house is just a money maker with very little concern over general house maintenance & safety. When renters have to clean dryer vents, that says a lot ! A little more time & attention to the reviews would help greatly ~

This cute little house did not disappoint! We really enjoyed our stay, and time at the beach. I loved the downtown area, with all the fun shops and restaurants! We had a lovely stay.

Beautiful Place, Clean, Peaceful, Everything I imagined and more! Wonderful way to relax, take walks with my dogs! Walk to the water and enjoy!!

We absolutely loved our long weekend at Pelican Perch in lovely Port St Joe. This charming cottage was small yet spacious, well appointed & beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture & beds. It was also very clean. I always bring my own cleaning supplies but didn't need to do any cleaning at all when we arrived. You would never guess that this is a pet friendly rental but we were delighted to find such a beautiful property with a fenced in back yard so we could bring our dog. We also loved the screened in porch & parking area. We hope to return soon!!

I utilized this place for a solo trip and loved it. It was close to restaurants and shopping and a short drive to several beaches. Very tastefully decorated and the bed and furniture were comfortable. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe. I always bring my own cleaning supplies but did not have to use them at all. Definitely recommend!

I really hate to give a glowing review for this little house because I do not want everyone to start booking it and mess it up!
Really, we loved the home and the location. The house was clean and well appointed. It definitely is not your average vacation rental with cheap appliances and ‘used’ smell. We don’t often travel with pets because all the pet friendly rentals we have ever been in smell horrible and just feel dirty. That was absolutely not the case here! I was actually able to enjoy myself from the moment we walked in ( I usually spend time trying to freshen and sanitize) until the moment we walked out. Unless something really goes awry, we will be back in the fall!

The home was stellar....clean, well stocked, charming interior.
I especially loved the kindness shown with the house being lit to make our after-dark arrival so easy.
The location was sweet!!!!Easy access to the bike trail or to walk in town, quiet neighborhood ....I can't wait to come back.

The Pelican Perch is an excellent property. It was clean and well appointed. The master bed was comfortable. Loved the location, easy walk to the adorable downtown.

We absolutely loved this place and the town of Old Saint Joe. Small town feel (not touristy), but close to great beaches, great food and very friendly people. First time we ever brought our dog with us and it was a great experience very pet friendly town! Will definitely be back and would love to stay here again in the future! Also great experience with Coastline Vacation Rentals. First class!

The rebuild was great craftmanship. However, not everything worked. Took 20 minutes to figure out the microwave - no instructions. Could not use the coffee pot nor buy the coffee pods for the machine. TV/Internet did not work. Beds were very uncomfortable. Lacking a safety bar in shower. Left a day early. Not a happy camper.
