About this condo rental
526 Sunsuite is a studio that sleeps 4 and is located in the middle of the island. A short walk down the boardwalk will lead you straight to the white sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean! From the 2nd floor balcony, you are welcomed with tropical breezes. There is a sidewalk that leads you to the Atlantic Ocean. Our studio apartment has been upgraded with new linens, paint and a larger than most refrigerator. The kitchen is well appointed for preparing a meal. Sleeping accommodations include a Queen Murphy Bed which is lowered for sleeping and easily raised to allow for a spacious living room environment. We also have two Spacious built in bunk beds. This property comes with 2 beach chairs and beach towels along with bath towels, wash clothes and linens for all beds. We are pet friendly. We are club members so cards may be purchased.

The accommodations felt like an outdated motel. Pretty disappointing for the amount charged per night.

The location of this property in itself is a good location, however, the location of this unit leaves a lot to be desired. The unit is directly above the garbage can “housing” which was extremely unpleasant when entering and leaving the unit. In addition, the unit needs repairs, specifically to the plumbing. The shower and sink both “back up” to the point our family members showered in the unit we were renting. When owner was made aware of the issue, which it’s difficult to believe she wasn’t already aware, she did send someone out who didn’t do anything to correct the problem, nor was there follow up to ensure it was corrected. When contacted again, someone was sent out morning of departure date - evening before was an option but little too late all the way around. All in all - there’s plenty of better options on this beautiful island.

I have visited the island multiple times and stayed in a couple different places. The sunsuites are a great option. This particular one is on the ocean side, just steps to the beach and pool. Great location, super clean, and had everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was wonderful and very responsive. Highly recommend.

Place was as advertised. Perfectly decorated for a small couple plus dog beach stay. Very short walk to the sand. First trip for my husband- he loved it! We will be back!

This unit was just right for our stay. It was cleverly appointed with the murphy bed, and the space was enough room for me and my two tweens. Very easy access to beach. I wouldn’t call it an “ocean view,” but but more of a “palm tree view.” There was a parking lot below, as one commenter mentioned, but I couldn’t see the cars through the railing, and I enjoyed my morning coffee in the rocking chair outside with the ocean breeze very, very much.
My only reservation about booking this unit again is that there isn’t a railing on the top bunk, so we didn’t end up using it. Additionally, the music from the pool bar went until 11:30, and we prefer to go to sleep earlier than that. But as another commenter titled their review, “Adequate Plus” is a great way to describe these accommodations.

Overall the stay was good! My only concern was the top bunk didn't have a rail so I was waking up to every sound making sure my son wasn't about to fall off the bed lol. Would consider staying again if I could find a solution to this.

I can't say enough about what a nice little place this is. The location mid-island is amazing. I've been to Fripp many times, and this was my shortest ever walk to the ocean. The unit itself was clean and had everything we needed. As an efficiency in an older building, yes it's small, but it was the perfect size for a parent-child getaway. I also really appreciate that we were able to stay for less than a full week during peak season; that booking flexibility made the whole trip possible for us. Kathy was terrific to communicate with. Thank you for a wonderful stay; I hope we can do it again next year!

We had a relaxing stay great location once we found it. Gate guard needs to explain location instead of just handing out a map GPS was no help either finally found it after returning to the gate for clarification. The location and accommodations were great for a short getaway.

Definitely not ocean view. Your view is of the parking lot and the building between you and the ocean. Room is super small (I’ve stayed in hotel rooms that are bigger). Just felt cramped inside, so we sat outside

Check in process wasn’t good. Owner couldn’t be contacted (she wouldn’t answer her phone or call back) and didn’t leave instructions for us to get in property. After driving 4 hours we had to call Vrbo and it took about 20 to get into the gate. Parking is first come first serve and is very hard to get in and out of parking spaces. The condo was small but very nice and clean. Very close to beach and easy beach access.

Great spot, the location was perfect with the beach & pool being right there & plenty of places to go to on the island. We will have to come back again next year to visit the island and stay at the resort!

This place was perfect for us and our two little ones. Great price and a lot of amenities! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others! Great location for the beach, restaurants, & activities! Many things in walking distance from this lovely condo complex, yet it still feels quiet and cozy. Our condo was decorated beautifully and was clean from top to bottom at check in. Definitely exceeded our expectations!

Although we knew ahead of time that we didn’t have the cards to use the pools there is no where else to sit in the sun out of the wind
The weather was very windy so being on the beach was out of the question most days
So we had to drive in to town and went as fast as Hilton Head for stuff to do most days

My stay was great!! We were close to family staying at The John Fripp Villas. We hope to return soon!
