The Cove Ipoh

The environment and the facilities was good.

The worst stay ever!DO NOT BOOK HERE!

It’s located in a serene area with a beautiful hill and surrounding.

1- the unit that i’ve booked from booking.com under glex home, was super dirty (hairs on the floor and on the mattress, dusty, bathroom wall and floor in shower place is not clean and the worst part there are coackroaches everywhere!) 2- shower head was broken 3- no towel and soap provided as promised (until i made a complaint) 4- aircond in master bedroom was leaking 5- promised to change unit since 7pm and only given the new unit and also soap and towel at 11 pm. We were all waiting for 3 hours. 6- customer service was not helpful and the staff cleaner came late 7- this property is NOT WELCOMING AIR B&B or HOMESTAY!! There are red banners hangged everywhere saying ‘NO AIR B&B or NO HOMESTAY’. Totally made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed!

The location was great and kids love the pool.

Even though they arrived late to hand over the key, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating when we asked for more parking. The pool was a fantastic feature of the location. Children adored it. Although the numerous banners stating "no homestay / airbnb" are a little unsettling, we had no problems because the residents did not bother us.

It took a little while longer than expected to get the key. Instead of making us wait, the host might have started preparing it sooner. Although it could have been cleaner, the residence was nevertheless cosy. The food in the refrigerator (from a previous visit) was not thrown out. It is also advised to supply mattress covers for futons that are single.

Ok unit but without wifi and tv reception.

The unit was ok.

Unit was advertised with wifi and tv, but tv was not connected with aerial cable so no reception at all. Also no wifi which is very inconvenient for the children. Double check with organiser on the wifi if you want to stay with them.

Enjoyable

Love the apartment’s interior design.

Owner needs to check the door’s battery. It’s low in battery causing the door difficult to open, and there’s one toilet without toilet roll. Would be better if there is a TV in the living room.

Overall everything was good but the host wasn’t so responsive during needed times.

Environment was good and quiet. My family enjoyed it.

it was fantastic

it was near all tourist attractions that we wanted to go to. it was secure. it was clean and comfortable.

there was a plumbing problem with the kitchen sink and master bedrooms bathroom sink. there were no mirrors for readying up. Guest parking was very far away. the iron was very low quality . Provided only with 1 small trash bag and it was too small and low quality(easily torn) trash bag.

It is ok. Except for the residents who hates AirBnB guests.

There was a man who passed me the key on arrival. Came to the parking spot to pass the access card to me. The place was very clean for one and access to the facilities was nearby and accessible by foot.

"No HomeStay, No AirBnB". This is the welcome banners that you will see upon arrival. This property is a residential titled, But a lot of owners are running an AirBnB business. So if you do meet a resident, be prepared for a cold shoulder and the "stare of death". That is the uncomfortable part. This place also lacks toiletries. So no soap or toothbrushes or toothpastes given. Very strict if you want to use the pool. The security guard will tell you off if you do not follow the given guidelines.

Poor management, on arrival they told us to park in the wrong parking spot from the start. As a surprise we had a penalt

The environment and furniture is clean n tidy, convenient and security is good, staff is polite and owner is polite too.

1. We are late check in , Owner promise will do housekeeping on next date but not turn up :( 2. kitchen no lighting, laundry not providing detergent :( 3. my kids unlock in the room been waiting for 30mins :( 4. Problem when we extend the room and price is much different , should value for customer would like to extend but pay higher price :(

It was nice but could have been better through improvements on the above.

I like that the facilities are new & functioning. Place is aesthetically pleasing.

The requirement to pay RM100 as deposit fee outside of Booking.com, with customer needing to provide additional details via whatsapp i.e., IC. The water playground was the main attraction however it was closed for maintenance. There wasn’t any dedicated parking for the unit specifically & when inquired owner did not respond. There were balls of dust/hair in some areas of the unit. Mosquitoes and monkeys at the playground.

The staff so nice, i get lost and can't found the actual location, the staff immediately come to us. I will stay in same apartment when i visit to Ipoh again

Good value for the price.

it was right by the mountains. Felt very private.

The pool was closed while we’re there. kids were so disappointed. Ran out of toilet paper and we had to go purchase some ourselves. There was no Wi-Fi.

Ahhhhh……

Close to attractions.

The sofa is dirty, the washbasin faucet in the master room needs to be repaired, there is no WiFi, the TV is useless, and there are cockroaches in the master room.

Scam!

The host asked me to cancel my bookings last minute with the reason being the management of the apartment does not allow them to operate air bnb anymore. They did not even offer help to look for another accomodation as it was a last minute cancellation. II have asked for my fees to be waived as it is not my mistake but I have got no update nor reply from them after 1 week from the date of the booking. I am seriously in doubt that this is a scam and will proceed to file a police report against them!

My opinions and matters to improve.

Location and esthetic feel of the place. Very beatiful and great for kids and also family. Love the extra futon provided just hope that it can be clean thoroughly with some cover provided. Water slides for pool was exceptional just enough for small kids to enjoy without going to waterpark

Did not like the check in process. I cannot enter the room and waited for 30 minutes to get it sorted out. Mgmt of the property is strict. Only one car is allowed to park inside others have to park outside which is so far to walk.
