Modern and inviting furnishings ensure your relaxation and comfort throughout your stay. The cabin provides stunning views from almost every window, allowing you to soak in the local mountain ranges and the calm Arrow Lakes. When it's time to rest, the cabin features three thoughtfully decorated bedrooms to accommodate your party. The main bedroom boasts a queen bed and offers great views of the lake and mountains. A second bedroom, affectionately known as 'the nook', provides a cozy, forest-inspired ambiance. While it is charming and offers a unique connection to nature, it's important to note that this room is on the smaller side and has a separate entrance from the outside which adds a touch of rustic charm. The third bedroom, known as the 'bunk room,' features a bunk bed with two single beds. While this arrangement works well for some guests (families with younger kids and close friends), it's important to mention that the entrance to the bunk room is through the main bedroom, which may affect the privacy for some guests. My wife and I really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Location is super private and quiet, but not far out of Nakusp so conveniences are nearby. Cabin is well stocked, clean an comfortable. No dishwasher. It was great for a couple, would work well for a family of 4 (although only a curtain between queen bed room and bunk bed room). Above 4 guests means some are sleeping in room with separate entrance - have to go outside to deck door to access bathroom. Great lake view off the deck and sauna deck. Sauna takes some work to get going - build a fire in wood stove first, then come back to enjoy. We were after a quiet getaway and this cabin thoroughly delivered. We'd like to come back some time.

This place is nothing less than amazing and is a true gem of a find just outside Nakusp city centre. With lake views from nearly every room of the house you are surrounded by nature and not another house in sight. It was easy to relax with no sounds other than the crackling of the wood burning fire or the soft tunes coming from the record player. The barrel sauna and cold plunge was the perfect way to begin and end the day. Jacob has the place tastefully furnished and has provided everything you need and more. I honestly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the forest cabin. It was quaint and had wonderful views of the lake. The hammocks were perfectly positioned for napping and taking in the scenery. The decor of the cabin is very sweet and the bed was very comfortable.

This cabin is in a beautiful location and is super comfortable in all ways apart from the inability to turn off the wifi at night. This is now a question I will be asking when booking future comfy places to restore my self in nature:) If this is not a bother to you I highly recommend. Jacob was a great host.
