We were greeted by a rude and indifferent front desk staff. Listen Linda, I understand you only allow one car to park, but a broken record response from you is insufficient to inform me of what to do with my car. And furthermore, how is the Ocean Walk parking garage the location you finally suggest. It is 4 miles away and a wholly unacceptable parking solution. Having to take a cab from my car to the hotel is not a solution. Ok now the check in process. It took two hours to get into the room due to the email taking 45 minutes to arrive and then being given the wrong code multiple times. At least they didn’t charge for early check in. The room had a lovely view of an air conditioner out the front window (which you can’t completely block off so a sliver of the room is viewed by passersby, and light intrudes in the am). Out back we had a view of the two empty pools and broken seawall, and the back of the cabanas (also closed) roof. We were not warned about the closed pools or parking garage. The internet didn’t work, and the TVs are Roku and require wifi, so no TV. The toilet wobbles on the base, the shower has rust stains, the vent fan has a bad bearing. I worked in hospitality for most of my 20s and a room and experience like the one we had would have resulted in at least a visit and apology from the manager, and a partial refund. Instead I kept getting the same stupid canned text response to each complaint.

Lights were not working in the bathroom the bulb was blown the had to replace it. Not enough towels and linen.
