I loved the house very peaceful loved the history behind it.

This is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. The building and its recent restoration are remarkably beautiful, well furnished and appointed, as well as authentic to the core. One feels transported to an age when craftmanship, beauty and elegance were true aspirations. Our stay ranks among our very favorites in all of our travel. And the hosts are a treat as well. Highly recommend.
Absolutely nothing. I wish the owners all the best and great success. We will happily return and look forward to it.

They house was stunning, the pictures didn't show how special it was. It would be a fantastic venue for any special occasion. I was very impressed with the care that was taken to give the property a historical feel.

Everything. Historical, beautiful, spooky, you name it and this place has it.
Nothing to dislike unless you prefer to stay in a modern hotel.

The property was old world luxury with the finest master bathroom I have ever had the pleasure to use! The bed, decor and commons areas were true to period and beautiful!
As it was off-season, staff presence was minimal. I also happened to detect a finishing nail in my rear right tire the next day. As a great deal of excellent rehab work took place at Orman, well it was a possible source. But maybe not, too…

Breakfast was a gift certificate for a local cafe for $20.00; however, our meal still cost us $24.50.

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful, luxurious property to the moment we left, we were enchanted by the gorgeous, historical interior and the lovely welcome of Joe and Teddy. We were transported back in time to an age of elegance and grace. We loved every moment of our stay.

We enjoyed breakfast at the B St Cafe - very good.
Nothing. It was truly exceptional.

Although not on site, the breakfast was excellent. But we didn't go there for the breakfast. The turn of the century (20th) look and feel was perfect. The restoration of this timeless jewel was outstanding.

The decor and vibe was amazing through the house, a lot of attention to details. The living spaces were very spacious. The host provided lots of snacks and free water. Breakfast included at B street Cafe was very generous.

This was a very special place! An old mansion that has been renovated and updated and is now used as a beautiful B&B. Everything about this property was terrific. Our room was large, spacious, had a beautiful large bathroom with walk-in shower, and a very, very comfortable bed! We stayed 2 nights in mid-Aug 2023.
The vouchers provided for the ‘free breakfast’ did not actually cover all of the cost of the breakfast at the very nice local restaurant.

What a wonderful mansion, on the historic registry, everything was exceptional! Bobby (owner) met us at check-in and during a tour of the mansion, provided a history of Governor James Orman, his impact on Colorado in the late 1800’s and the history of building the mansion. In addition, Bobby discussed his families efforts to restore this magnificent property and several others in Pueblo to their original splendor. The history and tour were wonderful! The interior is exquisitely furnished with original wood staircases and accents throughout the house. The exterior is meticulously landscaped and beautiful in quiet neighborhood with other late 1800s homes. Our bedroom suite was very large with a king bed, en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and sitting room perfect for relaxing and reading. The common areas throughout the three story mansion are very comfortable and inviting with plenty of seating. Although we didn’t use the kitchen it is equally exceptional. This would be the perfect retreat for a family reunion, wedding or other events needing elegance and style. The breakfast is provided at the family restaurant downtown (very close) in another late 1800’s building on the historic registry. The food was great. When we told her we were the only guests at the mansion she asked us if we experienced any ghosts of past? We didn’t but, apparently, rumors are the house may be haunted. This is a must stay mansion if your travels take you to or through Pueblo. We will definitely be back for a future stay.
I liked everything and couldn’t find anything that wasn’t exceptional.

What breakfast, there was none onsite. Gift cert. was given for three but there were 5 guests on our reservation. When we got to the restaurant expecting to get coffee and something to eat as all adds lead us to believe. The damn place was closed. The cleaning lady checked us in(gave us a key and left). Told us about the breakfast location and was out the door. Once again no notice that the damn place closed. Total BS.
Someone to check us in and out. The truth about the breakfast. A guest parking spot was not available that night. After the fair. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Breakfast was good and the location was convenient.

This place is gorgeous! We love to stay in unique places as these usually end up being the most memorable. You are free to explore the mansion and sit in any of the public areas. I could have sat and looked around for hours just taking it all in. Our host was on site to meet us upon arrival and they really try to make it a comfortable and full experience for their guests. We had the full third floor family suite which works great for a group of adults. The snacks and drinks available in our rooms was a very nice touch as well as toiletries in the bathroom.
We were there during a bit of a heat wave with AC only in our rooms but this is to be expected in a home that was built over 100 years ago. Just something to consider if you can't deal with the heat.

What a treat to stay in an historic mansion in Pueblo. It has been beautifully restored and the grounds are lovely. It is close to Union St with fun shops, art galleries and restaurants. Breakfast at B Street Cafe was yummy—great decor and good music. Bobby was a good host and very helpful.

I loved staying here. The property and rooms are beautiful and clean. It's very elegant and comfortable. I really appreciated the attentiveness of the owners the great communication. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night knowing we would have comfortable and safe place to stay.

The place is a beautiful old mansion, but some restoration is needed, specially in the bathroom.
The bathroom wasn’t really clean. The bathroom door didn’t close. The breakfast is not in the same place,
So is not a bed and breakfast. They gave us a voucher for breakfast and you need to drive to the cafe. The voucher wasn’t enough for the two days of stay.

Authentic, beautiful mansion in a nice neighborhood. Loving restored to its former glory. The added touches of refreshments in the room and water and coffee available at all times.

Actually, we thought the cafe was somewhat overrated. Good food, not great and a bit pricey as well. Additionally, a 35 minute wait.
Shower needed to be cleaned better….

The pictures are beautiful, but being in the mansion is breathtaking. I felt like royalty. The detail, furniture, and grounds were impeccable. Joe was super easy to work and very accommodating.

The home was beautiful. Seeing the beauty of this old home was a great experience. My daughters loved it.
The rooms did not have air conditioning and there was not a tv anywhere. Made our sleep a bit uncomfortable but tolerable for the one night we stayed.

Elegant features of a turn of the century mansion, Bathroom and tub, Best bed we have slept in next to our own. We found the hidden compartments, the walk-in safe, the dumb waiter, it’s fun to explore the mansion.
No place to hang clothes.

Sat outside at the restaurant, and it was fine..
The house was empty. No staff.

The house is amazing! A lovely experience. The host is really nice and they provide a great service. Room is big, clean, and comfortable. Amazing bathroom!
It would be nice to have AC, particularly for the day when the house is hot and a mini fridge. But overall it was a great experience.

I did like location and very nice place

It's a Resto-Mod! Far from a night's lodging. More of an experience and insight as to how turn of the (previous) century gentry lived without the servants of course but with all the modern luxuries. A must for architectural enthusiasts.
