My wife and I had a 10-day trip around Italy by car (Milan-Rome). During all this time, we stayed in 4 hotels (of approximately the same price level).
This hotel (Riva di Palo) was the best of them all. There is a very large hotel garden area with lawn, pool lounges and sunbeds, as well as direct access to the beach/sea.
the hotel room was spacious and tastefully decorated with its own outdoor table and chairs
the hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive , especially Antonella who kindly helped us plan a visit to the most famous places in Rome.
There is a free parking lot in the hotel territory. The train station Ladispoli is approx. 10 minutes' walk away. From there by train 30-40 minutes to the center of Rome.
We will definitely choose this hotel on our next trip to Italy.

Close Location to airport for a few days R&R when arriving in Rome. The resort is beach front with a cool beach bar. Restaurant onsite is great for breakfast lunch & dinner and the staff are just so friendly, welcoming and attentive. We highly recommend staying here.

We had a very pleasant stay at Riva di Palo. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was good. The restaurant on site was also lovely for al fresco dining. Big swimming pool and nice beach bar on the hotel's private beach. Good location with direct access to a number of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The big swimming pool was otherwise great but it's of the same depth throughout (about 1m) and thus not that accessible for young children and people with mobility issues. Having a shallower area on one side would make it more accessible.

We loved everything about the hotel, the room was fabulous and the bed was so comfortable. There is direct access from the hotel to the beach and there is a garden and pool area right outside the door of the rooms, it is so beautiful. We had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and we ate outside which was delightful, and then we just walked along the path to our room!
Natalia was so helpful and lovely, she is the perfect host. We liked it so much, we asked if we could stay an extra night, but they were fully booked unfortunately.

The rooms and facilities were nice
The venue was not always on the price for their additional services or communicable. For example, they booked an expensive private trasnfer to the airport although we said it was too expensive and not to worry about it. The morning of departure, the van was there anyway & when we questioned why it was arranged, we were told we did confirm it (we didn’t). The private transfer service appears linked to the hotel as they took the payment (originally told us we had to pay it upon booking - this is when we said no thank you, too expensive). They also attempted to arrange expensive set menus at their restaurant saying it was the only option for a group our size. When we declined, they called our room to say we could dine a la carte (as they realised they lost a huge booking for 19 people). We dined elsewhere for about half the price. We were told different prices for things by various staff. Random charges were put on our rooms which were “kindly deleted” when we questioned them. They try to get you to attend other bars / clubs / restaurants owned by the staff of the hotel.
Also, they charge you extra to use the sun-beds and umbrellas in the resorts private beach area, and for beach towels. At the cost of the accomodation, this should be included.

The room was great, especially ground floor no steps. Comfortable bed, nice vibe.
The pool was great and the proximity to their lido is superb.
Breakfast has a nice selection of dolce and fruit, yogurt, cakes, coffee, etc.
One of the higher priced places we stayed in Italy, but we would definitely stay again. The resort has nice amenities.
Too much English spoken. I prefer Italian even if I am not that perfect or fast with the language. I didn't come to Italy to hear English.

Our stay at the resort was the prefect ending to our 2 week long Italy vacation. It was a beautiful property- with the beach right at our doorstep. Our villa was also great for our little family! All the staff were so friendly! Made us feel so welcome!

This is just the prettiest place with lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. We stopped over after a cruise en route to the airport.
Our room had everything we needed - staff even found an adapter plug when we realised we had forgotten ours.
We usually only stay in 5 star accommodation and took a gamble - wow it paid off. This place was perfect!
Amazing restaurant food, staff, location! We had a lovely evening under the stars with lovely food.
Nothing!

the rooms were light and bright and recently renovated. A reasonable breakfast included with the rate and the bed was comfortable. It was well placed to Fiumincino airport without being next door to it.
The property was fine it’s just the location. The town didn’t t really have anything to offer - maybe it’s a summer resort and it’s more interesting in the holidays

Everything was perfect! Super friendly and helpful staff (thank you for the great tip about the black sand being magnetic, Andrea! And thank you for lighting up our breakfasts Tiziana!), amazing restaurant, great location! Nice and cosy room, beach right outside of the hotel! We had a great time and will definitely come back.
