About this condo rental
Apartment 1 is located on the lower level, with a private patio in the back, and the ability to walk straight out to the heated swimming pool. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed and there is a pull-out sofa in the living room. Parking included. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Anna Maria Island and want to be close to the beach you will love these condos. They are located literally on the beach front at Holmes Beach with a private heated pool, large private deck area and outdoor gas grill barbecue. Each condo also has designated parking in front of the building. There are two condos available for rental, both with views of the Gulf of Mexico. Next door you'll find the 'Café on the Beach', serving homestyle breakfast, lunch and dinner, complete with live music from 6pm. There are many charming restaurants within walking distance and plenty of stores and a major supermarket nearby. There is also a fishing pier next to the Café. Close by on the beach there are volleyball courts and a playground.

Location for me was key! We've stayed in the area before and this one was probably 100 feet from Manatee Public Beach, Anna Maria Cafe, and the Tiki Bar. It's so convenient to grab a coffee and bagel, hotdog or more filling lunch at reasonable prices. There is also a gift shop. A free shuttle picks up there every 20 minutes. Publix is an easy 5-7 minute walk on a straight path from the parking lot. There is also a Walgreen's and other shops near there. It's in a decent neighborhood adjacent to a surf shop and across from Skinny's Bar. We were not sure about it, but apparently they have the #1 burger 😅 it is perfectly situated between North end and downtown. Ubers are plentiful so we did not need a car. You can rent a golf cart for a fun way to get around the island.
There are 8 units in this condo, even though I think the listing says there are 4. I'm not sure the price difference between 7 and 8, but 7 had an updated kitchen and looked more spacious (saw neighbors unit). The unit is dated and the kitchen we had was very small and did not have any room except I used the counters for my bathroom stuff that didn't fit on the single vanity.
Overall it suited our needs at a reasonable price. It was very clean, but the shower curtain did have mold on the bottom. The rollaway was literally springs. Communication was iffy, but she did accommodate my request for an early check-in. I hope this review helps!

We rented this unit and another at Alamanda Villas. Anne and Lela were amazing. They always kept in contact with us. Super sweet ladies. Definitely recommend this place!!

Stayed here for a quick getaway for a few days. The location is great, just steps from the beach. Anne responded timely to the couple of questions I had. The place is comfortable and clean, it could use a few updates but for the price it can’t be beat! I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here! It was very clean and quiet with a wonderful view of the ocean. We could step out our door and be at our private pool or a few steps away from the beach…and Holmes Beach is very nice and clean. Highly reccomend!

This particular unit is the best in the building because of its direct connection to the courtyard area. The building is in a great location close to everything wanted for a beach trip. I would definitely stay here again, and hope to soon.

Situated right across the bridge to Anna Marie Island...perfectly situated near the Publix and "Skinny's." Literally feet from the public beach. Could not have been more perfect location for our quick get away to Holmes Beach.

Overall we had a pleasant experience. Although the condo was clean the furnishings were dated and the bath needs a total renovation. We had a issue with the internet but a call to the owner and together we rectified the problem. The outside of the property was in need of a good groundskeeper.

The property and villa is described just as it’s listed! Easy to access and included a designated parking space. We are first time visitors to the island and enjoyed our stay on the property. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Christina

Directly across an access road to the mantee public beach which is very crowded and loud. However, quiets right after sunset. Perfect for just the two of us! Great breakfast and drinks right next door! Will book here again!

Great stay, could not be happier with the location. Larger than expected, but definitely have to use the extra mattress pad in the closet for the fold-out bed in living room.
Wish I had more time to relax by the pool!!

Clean property. Nice property owner. Very responsive to an issue we had. Biggest problem with this rental is that it advertises pets welcome but that is only in the house. Pets can’t go to the pool. Can’t go to the beach. That was not stated in property description. Otherwise, good experience. Property is located 50 yards from beach. Public beach. Lots of people and traffic.

Amazing location right next to the public beach / park. We rented a golf cart and used it to get all around the island.

This condo is in an ideal location, only being a few steps away from the beach. It was clean and the owner had towels and bedding available for use. This is a bit of an older condo and has only one washroom. It’s a bit small but worked well for a family of 3.
Also available for use were beach umbrellas and a vacuum to help suck up sand that you track in.
There are local restaurants in the area you can drive to or use the free trolley to get around.

We loved the villa. Walking proximity to the beach. Nice pool. The villa has everything that you need. One thing the sleeper sofa was damaged and frame was dented it was horrible to sleep on it. Otherwise we had a nice time there.

The location of this condo is perfect! Just steps to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful time there! Yes, it could use a little updating and some cosmetic touch-ups, but it was clean, had all the necessities we needed while we were there and it was very comfortable. It was perfect for us and we will definitely be staying there again!

Loved the location! We had smaller children so it was easy to walk to the beach and come back if we needed something in the room. The condo could use a very good deep cleaning, there was a strong smell of mildew, and there was mold/ mildew on the ceiling in the bedroom and on the sliding door and curtains. If it wasn't for the smell and dampness in the condo I would definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location can’t be beat. The beach is a short walk from the front door and many local restaurants are close by. Publix is also very close, which is convenient with the full kitchen in the property.

We absolutely loved the property. It was so close to the beach along with giving us our own shared pool with those in the complex. We rented a golf cart for the week. It was a perfect location to be able to walk to Publix or ride down into town. We will absolutely be back!

Apt was convenient to food store and close to beach. Apt clean. Kitchen tiny but had basics. Furniture old, queen bed horrible with cheesy old sheets and foam mattress topper, NOT a fan.
Beach access is public beach as was super noisy, at time loud with rowdy large groups! In order to get away from day visitors on beach you had to walk way far down and you could still hear the boom boxes. Definitely not a location for “getting away” Price was cheap but that’s why. Won’t go back

The unit was super clean and nice. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on balcony and watching the sunset. We were able to grill out and swim in the pool. Parking was easy and walk to beach was just seconds.

Chose this for location and had stayed in a different unit in building last year. This condo needs a housekeeper. We immediately went to hardware store and bought hvac filters to replace the ones that had 2 inches of dust and mold on them. Black mold on the ceiling in bathroom and hair all over the floors especially in bathroom.
Host was great and answered a call at check in to assist but this really needs to be cleaned better.
Lesson learned using vrbo vs other rental companies. Won't use again or advise others to.

The ocean view villa was beautiful could see the sunset from the living room. Walked to the public beach restaurant that had live music and to Skinny’s that had burgers and tater tots. Great location, beautiful beac, cute villa with amazing views.

We loved the proximity to the beach as we could walk to it from our condo. Really nice area and close to trolley that runs up and down the island. We did not need a car rental at all. We rode the trolley to eat and shop and to all the sights. The condo decor is quite outdated.; but we had everything we needed. We are walking distance to Publix and CVS. We loved our stay here.

I loved the location of this property. The beach was just steps away as was a couple restaurants and a gift shop. This was excellent for my family and the property itself came with everything we could have needed. I would highly recommend this place and will be planning on staying here for my next Holmes Beach vacation.
